Great place to learn scuba. All the instructor are very friendly and knowledgeable (Madan, Chris, Ali, zeek,) I have struggled due to anxiety however the instructors helped me alot specially Madan. I highly recommend scuba shades to learn scuba.

I had a great experience on training my open water session from scuba shade. Even though I was not a great swimmer, first thing Mr Christopher, our cool instructor gave was his immense support which boosted my confidence. Course was in a moderate pace and sessions was wonderful. Getting exposed to the underwater world is always a bit tensed and exciting. But exploration is our long term aim, so you should ignore the tension. Though Chris had our back, I personally enjoyed attending Scuba shade. Obviously the Dubai waters has a moderate visibility only, but still we were happy. Proper care to the gear and supporting the buddy, sticking to schedules(Jo was planning schedules, thanks Jo), punctual ( I was a bit late sometimes;)) Had different buddies through out the course which was a different experience., Met some dive masters who also added some extra care..... You can trust Scuba shade as they will stick to their promise.#Grand habtoor is a 15 min walk from Dubai Marina metro station.#Direct bus near to habtoor from Al ghubabia bus station-No.8#Near to sky dive dubai#Beach is just 3 min walk from dive center(Dive center is inside grand habtoor resort)# pools will be sometime occupied (but dont worry, you can do your sessions on shore, after all we r going to dive into sea, not in pools)# Resort rest rooms are near, dress changing partition available# Decent and friendly behavior ( even some elderly people were enjoying and learning diving)#Price is competitive( I got an offer)#Service and training is great**These are my opinions based on my experience ( I blve most of those who attended there will be saying this)I am waiting for the heat to come down to join those wonderful world again.Thank you scuba shade, thank you to Chris for your valuable lessons, thanks Jo for responding always on my emails and concerns.Anand raj

Well, amazing is not enough to express what we felt with these guys, all the staff are extraordinary amazing people so friendly. Chris, amir and Joe superb people. You immediately feel part of the community and the group, amazing instructors. They keep safe over and under water, teach you everything even if you are not getting it fast..Relax you if you are afraid, just amazing...I finished my course but I still feel I want to go there everyday and dive with these guys...Im super glad that I chose scuba shade and I met everyone there.. you do too you will never regret it.

Received both Open Water and Advise Open Water. Instructors are great, had a good experienced. Visibility was not as good as I had hoped, but it is good for training.

Very disappointed in the service, the dive, plus conditions, scuba shade make daily dives in various dives sites and know full well what these conditions are like upfront, however this was never mentioned, very for viz, must admit I was looking for a dubia experience but scuba shade failed to provide.

Over the period of one week, completed training of e-learning, dives in confined water (Habtoor Grand pool), open water, and PADI certification at Scuba Shade, Dubai . . .My instructor, Chris Cruz, was highly experienced, intelligent, patient, and safe. . .And the appropriate combination of focussed/serious, yet fun/enjoyable.Noteworthy that the Jumeriah beach open water dive was challenging due to poor visibility. . .Interestingly, being tested/trained by Chris in this challenging environment imparted more confidence. . .Namely, that a beginner diver should/could remain calm, relaxed, and competent under adverse conditions.In summary, highly recommend this facility, and instructor Chris, in particular, for entry-level SCUBA training.

Overall great experience. Big thanks to MO IBRAHIM that took care of us: very prepared, clear explanations and patient. Unfortunately the pool of the hotel can get crowded and sea visibility is not optimal. But all the rest was good.

Great dive centre, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our guide Chris was excellent. Enjoyed the dives in Dubai, saw some interesting sea life including torpedo rays, butterfly rays, barracuda and a huge grouper. Hope to be back soon!

Just got my Open Water certificate with them and I couldnt be happier! Great dive center. They are very flexible in terms of schedule, which I deeply appreciated. Both Muhammed and Chris were awesome as instructors. They were patient and I really had a great time even though I only did training dives. I cant wait to do some dive in Fujairah with them!

Great place to come and dive, these guys are really friendly and work well with all ages. the location on google maps will take you behind the dive shop to the closest carpark. however you can also use the valet parking in the habtoor grand resort but you will need to walk through the entire resort to get to it. all in all i highly reccomend this place
