They have one of the best physiotherapy departments. I broke my right arm and Athanasia helped me to get full function back and reduce pain. Very experienced and knowledgeable. She used pictures too to help me understand what was going on with the bone, muscles and tissue. Very professional.

We waited over an hour and a half for a pcr test in this walk-in facility recommended by Emirates. The bottleneck was the receptionist who took over an hour to “register us” because she was constantly distracted and had no clue what she was doing. Very disappointed and truly shocking.

We have make a PCR Test for the fly back to Germany. We havent got the results in 24 hours. But the nurse say on phone... Dont worry, we have the result.I will have my money back.

Ahmed was the person that assisted me at the front desk. They lost and confused my file. I came at 8:10 and people were going in before me that came after me. Ahmed confused my file and was calling another name. When I came to confront him. He simply said that can take up to 3 hours and walked away. He never once apologized or behave in any way politely. When the manager sorted out the name confusion, ahmed again just walked away and didn’t apologize again. He should not be working with direct interaction with patients or any other custom as he doesn’t have any customer service skills

We called the American Hospital not one but FOUR times ahead, to make sure this clinic in Media City would be open for us to get a COVID test for a flight. We were told each time that yes they are open and available to test, with shorter hours for Ramadan but still open on Fridays. When we arrived they were in fact CLOSED on Fridays for Ramadan. This caused a panic as we urgently needed a COVID test but the other location in Healthcare city was very far away and had notoriously long wait times (3+ Hours) to get tested. Thankfully we were saved by Saudi German hospital nearby. I really wish this clinic had given us accurate information so we could have planned accordingly instead of last-minute.

Supposedly it was open from 8 to 11pm for PCR test, I called and made sure. I get there at 8.30pm and they told me they didnt accept anyone else because they already had 2 patients.The guy at the reception told me they only had 1 doctor for everything and to go somewhere else. This is the second time this happens but I believe the last because a very nice lady waiting there told me to go to a hospital in Umm suqeim st next to MOE, that were open 24/7. So I went there, 10 minutes only waiting and results in 12h.

Great experiance, we were there for a PCR-test, despite the late hour the staff did not turn us back and helped us in the best possible way. We received the test results within a few hours. A special thank you to Akhmed and Rosalie for their very professional and kind help!

Went to this facility for covid test, and its a disappointing experience!I have no choice because this is the nearest facility to my place.1. Waiting time is unbearable ( to think I came early and theres no que)2. desk personnel were so slow, keeps on chatting.3. simple registration takes too long4. not systematicIf you want to experience the worst... go to this facility!

Very bad service... yesterday we went there for pcr, waited for than two hours because they said there is a queue. And today we have to call them for our result. The phone is ringing for 15 minutes and we have to redial how many times to pick up the call. Never do your pcr there.

I came here for a simple Covid test because we were returning home after our trip to Dubai. At first the front desk attendant tells us to wait 2 Hours for a Covid test. After repeatedly requesting them and because we had our 2 year old kid with us, they finally relented and put us in front of the line after 45 minutes. Then they made us wait another 30 minutes because there is 1 nurse between the OPD and lab.What a ridiculous system of care! Highly inefficient and expensive!! Would not recommend it to anyone!

Not sure, where to start. We were in the clinic for COVID PCR test. For a COVID screening place, this place is unbelievably unsafe.1. It took over 3.5 hrs to get it done, from going in to coming out.2. Theres no screen between the patients and the staff - reception or cashier.3. People were crowded near the cashier as she was the bottleneck in letting people in.4. Cashier was wearing mask on her neck, not covering mouth or nose.5. Cashier was not using contactless card payment, and was touching everyones payment card and doing the payment.6. The order of people going in and registering, and the order of people whos being called for the test was not same. Some people were prioritized over others, or so we felt.So if youre still planning to do a test, try your luck somewhere else. Im not sure if other places are better, but I would assume, any place to be better than this mess.

We missed our flight due to promise of getting email within 48 hours of doing the test. Download SEHA app and go to 3 local drive throughs in Dubai and get results in 12 hours, no problem with contamination as you in your car, very slick UAE government thank you!! Avoid hospitals folks, to many people and no cleaners at any hospital I’ve been to.

The worst experience regarding COVID-19 PCR Test. We came at 12:00 they gave us papers to fill out, we did that and handed over to them and they said that the queue is too long and that we should come at 17:30. After we came at 17:30, they said to sit down and we waited 60 minutes before they even put our names in the system. After that we proceeded to another room, where we waited another 30 minutes because there were people in front of us. Dont go. Go to a tent thats meant for PCR test, not to this clinic. Very disappointed. Whole day killed just because of PCR Test.

I went for Covid test at 7 15 pm, but the staff at reception refused to take as there is only one nurse and last patient.I went after checking on phone that they are open till 8 pm and walk in, but surprised to know they close so early. It just wasted my time and cost of travel.

This clinic is terrible, we waited more than Four hours for a one minute covid test. Even though the place was almost empty!! And the way they handled things was very unprofessional. They kept saying it will take two to three hours no matter how much time passed. Mental torture and stress. Im never coming back here again.

Went twice in this clinic, twice disappointed. 1st time I called to ask about PCR tests, they said I can come without appointment but there will be the risk to wait. I asked when they close the clinic they say 8pm. I arrive at 7.25 pm they said clinic is closing and the nurses left already.. So why on the phone did they mislead me saying they close at 8 when its actually 7.30? Went there for nothing. Waste of time and taxi money. Second time a week later, I called, they say I can walk in for PCR. Arrived there the next day at 4pm, they said they cannot do my PCR because already too many people were waiting. Once again waste of time and waste of taxi money. Poor information, poor administration, never going back there.

Horrible service and super super low. don’t go here for a pcr test! there were just a few people before me in line and i waited for more then 3 hours. i cannot understand how inefficient it’s possible to work like here, unbelievable! the test was just about 1 minute... and they needed 3h for 5 people?! super bad hospital!

Very unclear and slow process for undertaking PCR Test, have been to other Centres subsequently which have a much more efficient service. Not sure if their other medical services are any better but would not recommend based upon our experience.

Its a decent clinic but the switchboard is a nightmare. They just do random transfers without listening, hang up on you and refuse to pick up when calling back. Given the numerous complaints on this point from other reviewers, I cant for the life of me understand why they dont fix this. Going to Saudi German hospital instead

You cannot get your regular treatment or bookings done because of PCR testing Mess at the reception.They will never call you to book appointments or remind you of those as they are so busy with PCR testing, it seems.Very poor service, extremely slow response and no ownership!On top there is no SMS confirmations and poor staff apparently suffering from outdated processes and Cumbersome and Old IT systems.

Worst place to get a PCR test done. You’ll be waiting a minimum of 2-3 hours for a 1 minute test to be done. Find another hospital to get a PCR test done.

Very disappointing, I arrived at the clinic at 6:30pm in order to get a covid PCR test and despite being advertised on their website as a walk in service open until 8pm and recommended by Emirates, I was told they were unable to carry out the test as it was too late and was handed a slip of paper to go to their bigger hospital almost half a hour away.My suggestion would be that you need to update your website to reflect this to save people a wasted journey.Go to Al Zahra Hospital instead, much better service and more stringent covid prevention measures in place.I will be expressing my concerns to Emirates directly for endorsing you.

An hour we waited for our data to be filled in, when no one was in the hospital, another half an hour WITHOUT QUEUE while we were given a test. Wasted time, on anything else, the test is done with all the data filling 5 minutes

I had a very disappointing experience - I was harassed by a doctor and he almost bit me in the examination room because I was asking him - a lot of questions - that he was thinking and told «  Are you going to teach me my job ?! » He was impatient to answer my questions and talking with Ego .. I never experienced this in Dubai during 11 years been living here that I was chocked and thinking to raise my complaint to the police - more details can be given upon request. Thank you.

They spend more time advising some new clinic rhen actually answering a phone. The website booking service is complicated and expects you to have some clinical knowledge to use .Hopeless . Dont bother.

I should’ve write this review earlier but I’m writing it now. This summer I was very ill, the symptoms I had was similar to flu. I had runny nose and there were lots of tears in my eyes. I took a lot of flu medicine but it didn’t work out, so I’ve decided to go to emergency room in this hospital. After the in house doctor checking my blood and tests me with different tests, all the results come back normal. Great, I was very happy and then I asked this doctor why I can’t stop crying or just lots of tears and I didn’t feel sad or stressed. He told me, that it was all in my head and women are sometimes like this.. I was shocked by his words. I couldn’t believe I heard that from a doctor, I went home feeling so disappointed. I even wrote complain to this hospital, I left my emails and contact number complaining about their doctor but no one ever called me back or write to say sorry. Because I went to another doctor and she told me i had allergy. How sad is this situation? I was giving birth in this hospital, I was a patient of them and they give me no response about my complaints at all !!!

This is really the best experience I ever had, Ive met the Doctor 3 weeks back, and from the time I walked into the doctor’s office I was greeted with the beautiful smiles upon arriving from the reception staff members. They were all very polite and very friendly Receptionists and nurses, and very helpful. the doctor took time to listen to my health needs as well as took the time to answer the questions I had. This is the best experience I have had in a doctors office. I felt like a person and not like someone sick. I recommend this clinic to all people I know and its very convenient in terms of area as I dont have to drive all the way to other hospitals in the other side of Dubai.

Doctor AlSherif Omar was incredibly caring, knowledgable, funny and professional. Has the best experience in this clinic because of him!

This hospital hired the best and qualified physicians and nurses no doubt on that. However, employed unprofessional frontlines staff at the reception which destroys the image of your organization.This complaint is specifically directed to the arrogant Ahmed the receptionist at the American Hospital Media City for rejecting my sisters follow up appointment because she forgot her physical insurance card in the pharmacy in JLT. We initially recommended the pharmacy to send the scanned copy of the card direct to the hospital but still the idea was not accepted. Its either we need to go back and get the physical card or do it at reimbursement basis.He stressed that this policy was directed by Aetna. What if this is emergency? The hospital will reject patient with that shallow reasoning? After waiting for 3 days for this appointment, we left the clinic disappointed.I have then called up Aetna regarding this policy and Aetna confirmed that the receptionist understanding of policy is incorrect. The hospital staff can call and confirm the validity of the insurance as they cant reject a patient just like that.I am raising a concern to the management to properly orient your staff and hire the most professional as frontliner as this people represents the image of your company. If they cant master and familiarize the standard protocol please dont let him sit there. Most patients choose this hospital because of the Doctors but the image will be dragged down due to incompetent frontliner.

I came to the ER with severe abdominal pain. The ER staff was very professional and helpful. Unfortunately I laid on a gurney for 5 hours waiting for a diagnosis. Ultimately it was determined to be an acute appendicitis.I was informed by ER staff that the reason I waited for over 3 hours after my CT scan was because Radioligist ( Dr Mohammed Hamza) did not provide a diagnosis for my acute and life threatening medical emergency.Even though I reported (what I believed to be negligence). The incident was never addressed.Incidentally I was an employee at the time in the Medical Imaging Department.

Very good doctors, patient, knowledgeable. We were attended to promptly. Professional service.

If you are American, dont think this place will be anything like home. It is still a hospital in the UAE. Best bet is going to doctor appointments when you return the US to visit.

Disappointing. Call center does not pick up phone calls . Once they do , they book your appointment to a wrong clinic in oud metha without informing the customer . What a waste of time.

2021年9月、帰国前にPCR検査を受けました。午前10時頃に予約なしで訪問し、受付から検査終了まで30分程度です。その日の20時頃、一通目の当院デフォルトフォームの検査結果がメールで届きました。またその10分後に二通目として、日本政府が指定する書式の検査結果も届きました。日本到着後、二通目の結果を提出し問題なく無事入国できました。
