The venue has a great ambiance inside and out.Food was great and loved that the cocktails are named with spirit of Cuba and Miami.Service was good and welcoming.The decor was vibrant and very Cuban. Cuban restaurant, great food, best mojito and havana special cocktails. Is not expensive. Lady’s night on Tuesdays 99 aed 5 drinks. Service sometimes is a bit slow. Live band the best in Monday evenings and Saturday you can dance. Live Dj as well great music selection. Go with friends and have a great time

An excellent new Cuban Bar and restaurant on the Palm Jumeirah. Great music and decor with excellent cocktails and classic Cuban dishes. Busy at the weekends, so booking a table is recommended.

The restaurant must really fix the air-condition situation because I almost fainted. It is an expensive place to have such bad accommodation.And yes any alcoholic beverage has almost 0 alcohol in it.The best tacos I ever had, thank you! 😊

I liked their decorations and the location is convenient. I dont know how cuban their menu but they had a good selection of South American dishes like tacos, ceviches, grilled meats and fish. We had a seabream ceviche which was a bit too salty, and braised ribs with corn stew. It was served very hot and tasted great. A welcome addition to Vista Mare.

Imstantly transports you to Havana. Unique cuban restaurant with a latino twist ie. The menu is a combination of Peruvian, Mexican and Cuban dishes. The vibe, salsa music and food were just amazing. In my top 5 in Dubai now.

Very bad experience and ambiance.Not sure how Time Out is rating this place 4/5z i started to doubt Time Out’s credibility.In a nutshell:- no AC we sweat like the electricity was out or something and that was not a one time off- except for couple of people the service was maybe the worst i have seen in Dubai (although service in general in dubai is bad)- no oxygen, one of my friends almost got suffocated with no AC around as well- Alcoholic drinks were without alcohol with the barmen doing whatever they want with drinks with no supervision. We went to complain that our drinks were tasting like alcohol free- my birthday sweet cake tasted really bad- ambiance was not as mentioned on their website, nothing is allowed and no band with bad music.- the place is huge but managed badly, and loses its identity from one room to another.Overall bad, and regret i even chose for a birthday celebration.

One of my all time favorite places in Dubai. You know a place is fantastic when you go again and get wow-ed as if its your first time there.The food is amazing, definitely try their Salmon Loin and their Taco de Pulpo. The place it self is smartly laid out and decorated, the best thing however is really the people of Rumba. Special shoutout to Joyce and Alberto for making each time feel special!

It is a big shame not to have AC that works in such a place!I read many reviews and I thought those reviews are old and they must have fixed it but no get ready to sweat in the heat! Especially in the bar area I had to leave after 10 min! Between the heat and the smoke the place ruined all the nice experience it was trying to build in this place. The drinks barely had alcohol; we had to request to have another so they fix it!!The food was the only positive thing in the place. And it was delicious bravo to the Chef!

Excellent value for money and great vibes! Ladies night is not to be missed and the food is refreshing and delightful. I recommend the tuna ceviche and crispy fish taco.

I dont know what everyone else is talking about but I HAD A GREAT TIME! Rumba is refreshing, its different and it definitely did not give me the feeling that I was in Dubai. Every single person from the staff were super friendly and us being new to Cuban food needed some clarification, so we asked our server, Tina, and she filled us in on everything. Food was delicious, ambiance was perfect, live band was lovely too. Worth a visit AND revisit!

Nice atmosphere, but not very friendly staff. The AC wasn’t working the night i went, I wasn’t informed beforehand when confirming my reservation. The staff that night weren’t very friendly, maybe because of the heat. They forgot a small portion of the bill of our table and were constantly chasing like a bank would chase a delayed loan payment.. so overall not a great experience.Appetizers are great but the quality of steaks isn’t.

Rumba is by far my best experience in long time !!! So glad we found this place on Palm and love to keep coming back here with friends and also business guests as this place has something to offer for everyone and never disappoints even very picky people 😜Design and interior is mind-blowing even for Dubai standards 😎and ambience is amazing and makes you forget where you are and your get transcended to Havana 🥰Signature drinks are amazing and served very fast, food is very tasty and very well presented, just how I like it.All stuff is welcoming and friendly and ready to accommodate special requests which not all bars are willing to do. Very sad that we have been advised by friends to visit the place to have a great experience myself along with my wife but unfortunately the hosts at the reservation counter werent helpful to provide proper seating table meanwhile the place was literally empty. They said that the tables were reserved and have placed us on a high stool table expecting us to have our dinner served on stools. Simply they ruined our plan and we had to leave and visit their neighbor restaurant where they have welcomed us and treated us gently.My advice to the owner is to supervise his business closely not to lose their customers due to careless and rude employees.

What a horrible experience ! We went on a Friday night for a birthday gathering, we thought that the place is cool. NO AC in the restaurant ! we are in the middle of summer, on the Palm, and No Ac/ The experience was horrible. we were all sweating all night long. We ordered Sangirya, u can barely taste the alcohol. Mojitos are lemonade, so we had to go the bar and asked the bartender to add more alcohol. The first bites of beef tacos were good, last bites i found a hair in the bite plus some things i couldnt bite. I didnt tell the waiter because i didnt want to ruin the birthday for my friend. We then moved to the Lounge, and i wish we didnt. It was more crowded and also no ac. The waiter was really friendly, but poor guy he was all sweating like most of the people in the place.Was a really bad experience, i wish that they can do something about these things since the location is really nice.Best

Good concept but poorly executed.Food was between great (octopus tacos) to below mediocre (sirloin steak). No recommendations from the waiter nor help with something that seems like a very confusing menu. Very few light dishes and to our surprise no healthier options with your main course. A stern “no” to a suggestion to make half portion of the only salad available as a side dish is a good example of missed opportunity for an easy win. The extra service charge for inattentive and basic service was a bit of a surprise. I hope owners and management spend as much attention and resources on training as they do on social media posts. This could be a great place if it creates a more personal touch thru service and food. Genuinely wishing Rumba all the best.

Aircon broken and no one can be bothered to tell you before hand in the middle of summer.

I give 5 stars for the good food. But a place at this price point struggling to have a properly air conditioned dining area and using portable ACs means I do not recommend going there during summer months. I might visit again in winter.

Service was slow, it took a lot of effort to get the waiters attention. But food was tasty and huge portions.

Good cocktails, great ambience and mostly decent music. Some options on the menu are really good for instance steak tacos, empanadas. Huge problem is inefficient AC - we were literally falling asleep there and had to leave early. This needs to be addressed.

AC wasn’t working in the main dining hall.Obviously understaffed, service is extremely slow. Waiters aren’t happy.Food is ok - You need to change the chocolate ice cream on the churros ASAP. It’s ruining the dish.3 stars for the bar area which was cool.

Lots of menu items not available but the stuff that was there was really good. Be careful when booking. They only serve food inside. Also, a little stingy in the wine pouring.

This new Cuban place is something you should check out, the decor transports you to a Latin American city and the food is pretty amazing as well.I have been to Club Vista Mare a while back but never found a reason to get back to the destination up until now.Highly recommend this place especially their Guac and Chips!

While I throughly enjoyed the decor and the vibe, what was certainly disappointing is when you get a completely Cuban themed restaurant serving Cuban/Latin food including a mural of Fidel Castro but you end up playing songs like It wasnt me by Shaggy and other R&B numbers. The music was a real real put off!

The AC wasnt working properly and the Tres Leches cake wasnt really a Tres Leches cake - it would be better if they changed the recipe or the name ;-)The music and the ambiance were great though. Kudos to the DJ!

Place had no AC for the past 3 weeks and when we called to reserve they didnt bother to inform us about this issue, everyone on the table was sweating like crazy, horrible experience and on top of that servoce was very bad super slow , no tissues on the table not enough plates and 20 min to get ur drink,we all complained u spend ur night removing ur sweat more than eating

Rumba, this is one of the best cuban restaurant I’ve been before. The food is amazing, the mixed dishes between the latin culture and unique flavors is perfectly elaborated. Wonderful atmosphere with a vert kind team of waiters and bartenders, and to make it more interesting the music from the DJ and the Cuban Band, makes you to go back on the time to The beautiful island. I would like to recommend this great bar and restaurant if you are in Dubai for a while, we this is a review from a cuban girl ✌🏻🇨🇺

Well deserved 5 stars rating for this amazing place! The food is so colorful and flavorful and the portions so generous. I am hoping they add some live music and brunch there soon!

Food was awesome especially the tuna ceviche, the plantain dishes and guacamole which we got seconds. Octopus and fish tacos not good. The steak and veal/beef was delicious too. Cocktails were awesome..really good. But the menu is all over the place and confusing. Service really delayed guess its a big place and less servers but they were polite about it.The day we went AC wasnt working for the entire 5hr we were there. It was horrible and very uncomfortable, cudnt enjoy at all. I love the interior and vibes however music was disappointing too..all radio miami edits..a little more cuban flavour would have been with the theme. Parking and access to this place was hassle free dint have to valet, ample space. The outdoor in cooler month will be gorgeous. Just for food and cocktails i guess i will try one more time provided AC works.

0.5 star down for the food that was average and not so cheap, 1.5 star down for the temperature and humidity inside the restaurant (not sure if A/C was on at all) and 2 stars down for getting the main course for the last member of the group 20 mins after others. Now, 1 star up since the staff was kind and tried somehow to make it up for the late food and 1 star up since I am kind person. Total of 3 stars, I envy those who had better time than me there.

Quite busy on a Thursday night, which makes sense since the lifting of the lockdown. The service was slow, though, even for a busy night. Slow as in 30 minutes plus to get your drink.The staff is refreshingly friendly!The menu is limited and difficult to maneuver (the format is like a newspaper), the portions are small, and I didnt leave with any memorable culinary experience.

The worst reservation ever. Reserved two weeks ago and no one mentioned on Thursdays that it’s a 3hrs slot max. and I reconfirmed the number of guests for a birthday a day before the event and this morning and again in the afternoon. Guests arrive and the reservation is cancelled! 15 guests down the drain, and your ratings also down the drain! Never going back there again!

Terrible reservation system. Extremely rude staff. Totally ruined my wedding anniversary, after having booked the table weeks ago. Staff suggested that it was my fault (!) that they didnt tell me until the day of the meal that they make a policy of double-booking people and dont advertise this information anywhere, refused to even apologise for the inconvenience, refused to allow me to make a complaint to a manager, (he either wasnt there or was too busy, they couldnt decide) and told me to be quiet or theyll cancel my booking! Incredible. Avoid

Very bad staff especially the Assistant of the Manager called Jay and waiter Been. We got mojitos with literally zero alcohol in it and after asking for adjustment we have been treated rudely. Unbelievably bad!

Finally a real cuban restaurant in Dubai !I felt like I was home 🏡. Eating cuban traditional dishes and drinking the BEST mojito ever!Excellent service from the moment we enter till we left. The manager Alberto ( a charismatic cuban guy ) made us feel welcome as well as their waitress Virginia.We will definitely comeback soon to enjoy the live performance of the cuban band .Mucha suerte y nos vemos pronto!

Finally an authentic Cuban place with an amazing food, atmosphere and staff. On Saturday and Monday they have live Cuban band which will take you back to Cuba.You definitely have to try their fish tacos and traditional guacamole. If you are a cigar lover it’s THE Place for you.We were served by Felipe who made our evening unforgettable. I couldn’t recommend it more. Thank you for having us. We are definitely coming back again and again.UPDATE: I have to add here few more things as I was reading some of the reviews.It is definitely not true that they are not using any alcohol in their cocktails! I have been there several times and this place is actually using more alcohol than in other bars or restaurants!Yes, unfortunately their A/C isnt working at its best at the moment but they are trying to fix it. For time being they are using portable A/C units. Someone wrote that their friend was suffocating from the heat...COME ON!!! Thats too much!!!Food is really great comparing to many other restaurants.So guys just go there and make your own opinion.

Frankly, the place is wonderful and clean, the decor is elegant and the space is large. It deserves five stars, and the best thing is that the parking spaces are available, meaning you dont need to leave your head out for parking.The service is excellent, and the reason is that Joit from Venezuela did not shorten the food spicy, and the order did not take long to be delivered.The best thing is that I come on Saturday at noon, at lunchtime, to live music, so you can live the Cuban atmosphere.Thank you, JoytGracias Joit
