Came here for the relaunch of malecon which from what Ive heard used to be a very popular dancing spot in Dubai back in the day. Currently we found the interiors to be excellent and once the night and some booze kicked in people were busy dancing. There is also a live band playing cuban music and dancing non stop for about 2 hours. This combined with some lovely bar bites, some nice cocktails and the quesadillas with fresh guacamole made it a fun night out for us. Service was excellent & we hope to return in future to try out the rest of the menu.

Ridiculously overpriced, food wasn’t great.. maybe good but definitely not great. Live band wasn’t good, just two girls singing so loud that my ears hurt. Music too loud and not nice. Very old restaurant, I know the decoration meant to make it authentic but I think they took it too far.

This place used to be one of the hottest places in town at one time. Someone decided to renovate. Although the intention was good, the outcome destroyed the ambiance and all what this place was known for. Normally there is a Cuban band playing until 11pm and then the DJ takes over. The service is good and the staff are attentive. The quality of the food is very good and reasonably priced; hence the 3 stars. Bar choices are plenty. Lost much of its past crowd and pizzazz.

Food is great and so is the atmosphere. However they are ridiculously overpriced. I know its Dubai. But if you have any cultural knowledge of the Caribbean and the food. You would know that servings are typically very generous. And beware of the prices if water and soft drinks.

Pretty nice, but dont lie to someone and tell them you dance salsa, cause the dance floor is the real test

Place became dead after renovation, lost charm. Zomato Gold not accepted, even listed as 1+1. Now it is just restraunt with bar, like many others.

This restaurant is inside the dubai marine beach resort. It has a brilliant ambience. Outdoor landscape and seating. The restaurant has a cozy ambience with a dance floor in the middle of it where live events are conducted.

Amazing for friendly gathering

Really good starters and desserts, amazing empanadas and postre de leches. 😍. Main courses still not wow... Just ok. That can improve a Lot.

Malecon serves extremely potent cocktails especially their bull frogs give you a nice buzz really quick. Great Latino vibe and music. People really take their dancing seriously here. Walked in and the place was almost empty. But the service was friendly, the prices are reasonable (for Dubai) and the energetic band soon had a few people on the floor dancing.

Great flavours and great service. The enchiladas melt in your mouth. Its hard to find good customer service in Dubai and you get bucket loads of it here. Big selection of spirits and beers (Budweiser, Heineken, fosters, Carlsberg, Stella, Hoegaarden and Peroni on tap), Peroni was the nicest, but only corona bottles offered as the authentic option. The draught beer was good quality, which many places would neglect. Asif was our waiter, he was extremely attentive and positive. We got there at 7 but everything kicks off after 9, so you can decide the atmosphere you want when eating. Actually I lie, we were 40 minutes late.Thank you for making our anniversary a great night, especially with the sparkles and cake.

I am Cuban and walked out as soon as I saw a pic of Che Guevara and Fidel castro two communist murderers and oppressors..Shame on you!

If you are a latino specially cuban is not what you looking for! I havent been in a cuban place like this anywhere in the world! Music sucks, cocktails are a rip of and is very overpriced dont lose your time...

Absolutely fantastic .. perfect price quality ratio .. excellent raw material quality .. I highly recommend it .. try the Empanadas eiei prawns Diablo vernante excellent .. it is not the first time that I have seen this place and after 2 years I can say that the quality and service does not diverge from previous experiences .. excellent 👏🏻

It lacks a good show, lights for stage. Latin dancers that encourage customers.
