Fancy clinic, good doctors, very poor concern/care for patient or respect for their time.I had an appointment with Dr. Thomas Berger, Dermatologist - booked over a month in advance. Yet, Dr. Thomas managed to keep me waiting for more than an hour. Due to some apparent delay with a patient - which makes 0 sense to me. I would imagine that the Dermatological issues are rarely life threatening or requiring immediate attention, and even if they were - this is a clinic not a hospital.I will not visit this clinic again under any circumstances and be sure to recommend my family and friends don’t either.

If you want to get your covid results on time and send correctly AVOID this place. Also if you want to get through to their covid unit forget it they never pick up!! They apparently have one person only working there and manually sending the emails and if you have changed your phone number and tied to your emirates ID you’ll never receive your results

Very bad experience!My wife booked an appointment for a normal consultation with Dr. Christelle Abboud! she had short consultation session with her to end up after with a request to pay AED 1,400.Once we expressed that this is not justified and requested to see the breakdown! They made us wait for 45 minutes and at the end made us pay 50% of what they have requested originally!!!This is really unprofessional and not justified attitude.Not recommended clinic and Doctor.

The absolute worst experience with Dr Michael Klein and the entire negligent nursing staff working with him. Avoid at all costs. Total abuse of patients to charge tests and procedures and then ZERO follow up or access to the doctor. Thousands of dirhams later no one has taken the time to explain to me the outcome of my results or any treatment plan. Shocking experience. Should honestly be reported.

Dr. Rolef is an extraordinary doctor, possibly the very best I have ever encountered in the UAE. She is a renown gastroenterologist that I can highly recommend!

They are the absolute worse place!!! They just believe in wasting your time. Unprofessional and complete and utterly useless place.

The clinic is professional and the staff are helpful, Dr. Zrinka and her nurse Abigail are absolutely brilliant. I only wish they had a system where the laboratory would send out the lab results as soon as theyre out. Right now, you need to wait for the nurse to call you to inform you about your results, its not very efficient because the nurses are overloaded and literally running around all the time.

Terrible experience in terms of patience relationship. Trying to reach our doctor since days to get information about our test result and medical recommendation. Doctor is never accessible and nurse never calls you back despite many calls and follow up by our side. Far away from professionalism and patient care.

I gave my blood for some tests here, and they told me that the test results would be available in 2 days. I called the clinic 2 times to follow up for my results after 3 days but was told that they can not be shared with me as Dr Mukaddes has not reviewed them yet. Dr Mukaddes called after 7 days and with a frustrated language without letting me to speak to tell me that I should find another doctor as she wouldn’t like to be my doctor since I caused a lot of problems with their reception while following up my test results! She told me that she is now doing me a favor by calling me to explain me the test results, and went over the results quickly skipping some of them, as soon as she finished she hung up the phone without giving me a chance to even talk or ask anything else. It’s my first time hearing a doctor saying find another doctor for yourself, so I’m a bit of shocked about the experience.

Very good experience. The children’s area had minders. The nurses were very respectful and treated us with courtesy. Doctor was stand offish though and in a hurry, seemed irritated by a crying child. But he did his job.

HealthBay Al Wasl is really a good hospital. The doctors are also nice and their treatment packages are very reasonable.

Dr. Schmidt believes that a nose surgery is similar to buying a dress online, it could fit you well and be happy or it might not work... this is the first doctor I visit in UAE that charges me every single time I come (even for a follow up session and follow up surgery). I had a minor breathing issue and thought I can improve it by doing this operation, unfortunately in less than one month I started having trouble just breathing and started to yawn all day, few weeks down the line and now I’ve been told I snore. Doctor says I should redo the operation and I’m just not ‘one of the happy customers’ ‘with some it works and done it doesn’t’. The operation takes less than 10 minutes, and instead of working on his reputation and success rate to fix it immediately, he decided I should do an allergy test (which came out negative by the way), suggested another medicine to buy, and suggested I redo the surgery and pay for it when clearly it hasn’t worked the first time around. (Obviously this all adds to a waste of my time going there, doing tests, check results, I even had to pay for the check up to see why my nose is blocked) How should a patient even reconsider for one second to redo it in the same place! It’s a shame and a pity leaving someone like that when the solution is right in your hands and won’t lose you anything!

We are an expat family living in Dubai and have been extremely impressed with the quality of service, professionalism and standard of care. The all have very good English and an excellent bedside manner. There is ample nearby parking, service is fast (no big queues) and the premises are clean, fresh and modern.We highly recommend Health Bay Polyclinic.

The Doctors at Health Bay Polyclinic are mostly very good. However, 99% of the Nurses and the rest of the staff are so rude, soon full of themselves, not only they act like they are doing the patients the biggest favor by helping them in ANY way, but also they dare to give their own opinions and advices on behalf of the Doctor about the patients health condition just like they are the Ones who went to Medical School, and not the doctors; specially the nurses and staff at the Gastrology Department!!! I believe they can affect the Doctors reputations badly if they continue doing that.

Dra Suzana, dermatologist is great. She is lovely and spend time to know you and talk to you, explain pros and cons of treatments.

Doctor Ursula Rolf in heath bay clinic Al wasel is an excellent doctor I have ever seen , I was in bad condition when o reached to her before 4 years and she took me immediately leaving everything behind , just conserning my case and did to me an urgent colonoscopy and treated me with medicines , she is so kind , helpful doctor I ever seen , I am now feeling much better because of god of course first and doctor Rolf after , I don’t know how will my heath be without such an excellent , well experienced doctor like her , thanks for her and her team Crisha and Anna, as they are nice , kind and helpful always . I really recommend this doctor .

Another clear vote for Dr. Rolef, she is my doctor since she diagnosed me 2014 with celiac and additional autoimmune disease of my thyroid. She is kind , efficient and professional.After a long odyssey with different doctors and IBS treatment she finally found the reason for my misery with a simple blood test , but i needed also an endoscopy to confirm the diagnose . It was done at Health Bay , good experience, felt nothing , nice and professional team.The only problem is Dr. Rolefs full schedule , she is always busy and it is difficult to get an appointment on short notice.

In my case Dr. Ursula Rolef literally saved my life by finding my inflamed appendix in an abnormal position . I had pain for 2 days , went to 2 hospitals and nobody could find anything . My boss at work recommended her and they accepted me as an emergency although her clinic was extremely busy .She found the problem within 5 minutes with her ultrasound scan. Afterwards she organised my transfer to the hospital and informed the surgeon. He knows Dr. Rolef well and spoke highly of her. . Since my surgery i see her once a year for my IBS symptoms and she is always brilliant , knows the newest stuff and explains everything. i had also my children checked by her , she found fructose intolerance in one of them and solved the constipation problem of my girl . I recommend her to everyone because she is the best Gastro Doctor i ever met.

The different entrances can be confusing. I would also recommend parking in the j3 mall instead of on the street as its busy

I had a simple but uncomfortable procedure and the nurses and Drs we exceptional. Their bedside manner was awesome. I was very anxious about the general anesthetic and they relaxed me completely. I would thoroughly recommend the gastro department, could not fault them. Well done to them!

I come to this clinic for several check a year since 4 years now and always now and in the past I have found courtesy, professionalism and care.

I have been their customer since the opening most of their doctors are very good and all nurses except for the gastro department and mainly Dr Ursula Rolef and her head nurse Cristina ! How can a doctor refuse to see a patient where she has an appointment after waiting for a month for this appointment and in pain!! They kept me waiting for 40 mns without telling me anything until I have asked and realised that the dr took a patient instead and refuse to see me she disrespects me and my friend when asking why she doesn’t want to see me raising her voice and asked for the security for me as I was insisting to tell her she has to see me as I have an appointment and I am in pain and I was referred by her colleague to see her as I need a treatment before I travel in few days ! very strange behaviour and indecent from a doctor though it was my first appointment ever with her.. not to mention that she had learnt since over a month that my little girl had a gallbladder stone after receiving her results and she refused to see her on urgent base or even talk to us for reassurance or any treatment until the appointment can be taken! Too bad! I do believe in Karma!

Having completed the contact us form thrice, received autoconfirmation of receipt email from the clinic, yet no one calls or even emails back after receiving an enquiry. When I called myself, I was told that a medical expert will call to answer my query which never occurred.Update : One and a half month has passed by and still no response to completing the contact us form, when same is mentioned to their call centre team, they speak over me, are rude and show no regard or regret. Customers service is 0.I eventually used their clinic as it was a cheaper option, but despite arriving 15 minutes earlier than another patient for registration and completing all tests before them, doctor made me wait for 45 minutes and called the same other patient before me to see him. Other patient didnt even wait 2 minutes to see the doctor. We were there for the same service. Staff at the reception and payment counter have no knowledge of particular service, paperwork involved etc. To cooperate with the response I received to this review, I once again communicated my contact details but no one has contacted or apologized.

Good clinic - Very good doctors but a long waiting time

Loved Dr Ursula Rolef in health bay. Warm and reassuring ! The ultrasound in her room really helps to confirm diagnosis . After 3 harrowing experiences with other pediatric gastroenterologists , we finally found the right one in Dr Balaji ( amazing doctor in city hospital) and Dr Rolef . The only downside I would say is she is very hard to get an appointment with , therefore in the meantime we had to go to other doctors who unfortunately did not give us the right treatment ! There was a waiting period but it’s ok as long as you are rewarded with a good doctor at the end of it :) as I have said before in other reviews, please do not give nexium indiscriminately . My daughter was diagnosed with ‘Gerd ‘when all she had was constipation ! The incompetence of doctors should not go unnoticed ! I strongly recommend patients do their research on authentic websites and read reviews before they go to doctors . It’s no easy task though !

Worst customer service ever!! They leave you waiting for over an hour. Had a bad experience with one gynecologist there, two days before my surgery she said she couldnt operate on me as she no longer operated at city hospital, she only operated at American hospital. My insurance was unfortunately not covered there. This was two days before my operation, it was all arranged to be done at city hospital. I had booked two weeks off work for this and my parents were flying out that evening to look after me, everything was arranged and this is what happened, the response from the doctor was cant you find the extra AED25,000 so we can operate at American hospital? Dont you have a credit card?? How awful to say that to a patient, I was extremely upset, how can I find that money?? I then had to research and find another doctor urgently to carry out my surgery. A very stressful and upsetting experience.I was recommended another doctor at healthbay and I was sceptical after what happened with my previous experience there but then I thought ok its a different doctor, it will be a different experience. Unfortunately I never got to see her as they messed up my appointment, keeping me waiting over an hour. I will never go back again! I honestly have nothing good to say about healthbay! Even when you complain, they simply dont care!

Rude staff and completely unprofessional- Dr Musadek OksusBooked an appointment a week earlier and was confirmed by phone call a day earlier and a message.I get there and they inform me that there will be a 30 minute delay!!! When i asked why they didnt call to postpone the nurse said this is how it works here, we cannot drag a person out of the drs clinic. I replied that all I asked for was a phone call to say there will be a delay and her answer was are you willing to wait or no. Of course I didnt and just left
