He said i waiting for you for 5 minutes but my company told me to give back the food and leave. He did not call us or even come outside our warehouse. What kind of a service is this? Will never use them again for food delivery. I received my Pizza Hut order UNSEALED, dirty, with greasy fingerprints, food remainings allover the box, and the Careem customer service wouldnt take any responsibility or provide immediate fix, but say they would get back to me within 24 hours. Other delivery companies work quick, not Careem. Definitely disgusting product and service. Dont waste your time and money πŸ‘πŸ» We are living in COVID times, what are their hygiene standards?

And on the next trip, they do the same again. Drivers often cannot find a client and they cancel the trip and for this they charge me an additional amount. Also, many drivers are not guided by the roads and trips last much longer and there is an overpayment for their mistakes. Im tired of communicating with those support. The problem is not being solvedπŸ₯΄

The driver opened a sealed cake, contaminated it, and lied n ran away. Careem customer service didnt bother to resolve. Unacceptable behavior and attitude from them. I had to waste 310 aed on that custom cake coz it was open n damaged in covid times. Careem has not resolved.

Terrible service. The absolute lack of professionalism of the technical support staff.Under no circumstances use the services of this company to call a taxi. When ordering, the cost of the ride was AED 100, when the ride was completed, the cost suddenly rose to AED 430. The bank did not allow them to debit the amount from my card and blocked the transaction. And Careem, in turn, blocked the use of their application until I paid them this amount.

Hats off to the service I faced today. I placed an order at 10:52 pm, which was accepted by one of the rider who did not moved from his location from order time till 11:52 pm. Then I called the call center where they told me that they are changing the Captain and later the order got canceled automatically as there was no captain available to take the delivery. However I called the call center again to ask about the refund so one guy told me that it will take 4 to 7 working days to return the money. I am surprised the Careem dont care about there customers and did not even compensate anything to the customer about the situation we are facing.

Your driver stole from us upon delivery and after 4 follow ups in a week, non of your customer care agents followed up on their promise to action this within 24H and contact me back.- Careem quoted me 20-21 aed for the collection and drop off but charged me 87aed!!?- Driver noted the bill was 200 aed but it was 112 aed (as mentioned in the order)- Upon delivery the driver demanded cash while I ensured him the amount was blocked already on my credit card for this order. He took the 112 aed cash.In total I paid 399aed for a collection that should have cost 199.Mistakes can me made but not solving them is unacceptable.

Extremely disappointed with Careem Food! 3 times in 10 days, my food order has either been paid for and then canceled or delivered to the wrong address. Each time, delivery’s been paid for and money is returned to wallet instead of my bank account, making me lose my nerves every order after that, as I never receive anything. There are restaurants in the app that you can order from AND PAY for your order, only for your order to be canceled (clearly with no bank account refund), as the restaurant isn’t operating in the app yet. This was it for me with Careem food. Either order from another delivery company or stay hungry and without your money.

I booked a taxi and the driver kept calling that he couldn’t find my location, after explaining to him I was waiting until he never showed up, I called many times he didn’t answer and few he later answered the phone and was very rude to me and saying that he has canceled my booking. And now Careem is charging me Aed15 for the cancellation made by their own driver. Worst service. I don’t recommend anyone to use their services.

I’m sharing this review to several sites because I think that’s the only way for them to act on your issue. Despite coming back to me on my refund after several days of bombarding them with messages in all of their contact support and promising you that they will contact you within the day (but of course they won’t), this company JUST PROVED ITSELF TO BE A β€œTHIEF”!! If negative stars are possible I would’ve given this app that. They are scheming you of returning your money BUT you can only use it in their app. They literally stole your cash in your bank without permission and now they can’t return it, but instead you need to spend it in their services regardless of. Never trust this app and don’t even think about entering your card details in it else they will charge you unknowingly; not to mention you’re being charged for adding your card details in their app (like what is that?!) and promising to give it back when you delete it but really they won’t (cause who will remember right?)Use a different app to deliver items for you or to book a cab because this app will charge you double and would claim it accidental or system error, but will make sure that your money will still end up in their pockets. To Abdul Majid (the customer service who’s handling my refund) please listen to what I’ve said - I clearly told you to refund my money back from where you guys took it because I want to get rid of your APP ASAP. Even it’s impossible to contact Careem through the app and chat to a Careem rep. Careem seriously needs to improve its customer service. The food was damaged.Pizza looks like it was eaten by somebody and the leftover was delivered to me.Either it is a leftover or the food fell down on the way and assembled back to deliver.In all cases, it is not edible.I have returned the pizza to the delivery guy who can eat it himself.Lesson learned: Never use careem to order food. Its been one year I am using careem for pick and drop on daily basis. Today I cant stop myself to share my experience here.I must say its β€œ Worst” experience most of the time. Specialy about Navigation.. I have daily travelling to my working place hardly 8,9 minutes drive. But most of the drivers they take long way, Although I added my location in the app as favourites, one day straight route the short one, some other day same location changed into long route, although I am using same app and same location. Many times drivers dont know (or may be just pretend to make more money) how to use and follow Navigation so the bill become double. Many times I complained through the app but always received one email of appology than I am experiencing same. I am realy fad up of this service.Pethetic service.

They told me I will get a refund the money which got deducted from my account. Now its been more then a month and yesterday April 6th 2021 hala care customer service provided me with a reference number to call the bank and tell them this number and they will proceed with my refunding... and the bank says there is no such thing as reference number they are just making a fool out of me since a month and not refunding my 677.66 DHS which they deducted from my account. My daughter and her friend used Careem Bikes at Qutanic Park in Khawaneej and she was charged Dhs 40 for two bikes for one day subscription use ! Horrible delivery system as almost every single time the drivers asks you to add him on WhatsApp because they are super lazy to search for your address and I’m fed up as I have now more than 37 of their drivers numbers saved and I should have shut them down from the start by telling them I won’t send any location. Honestly uber was much better in UAE. Careem has bags all the time.... today I ordered the food 3 times... restaurants canceled order after 20 minutes so from 23.30 untill 2.00 I didnt received any food. But orders were accepted and money charged and it was showing in processing mode but out of 50 mim 15 minutes before the delivery orders were not delivered... error message send and after canceling message was sent... really not professional way...Cash order can be processed maximum up to 150 aed... this is also to small limit....If you paid in cash and there was balance or careem refunded the money they keep in frozen in the app but not returning to the card... what is bad... if you remained with 40 aed balance it cannot be combined or deducted from total balance in case of the new order... also this is bad πŸ‘ŽThey did not return my money instead put me credit of 634 aed nearly 200$ to careem app... The customer service refunded 280aed and insisted they only taken 280. 6 hours later and after speaking to my bank, I can see they still took 390 and when I message careem I get no response. Worst transportation service ever. Always need to guide drivers about location,they dont follow GPS. Drivers caused extra charges by reaching late on pickup location and if you asked them about delay, they have same answer Sorry I dont belong to this city or my map is not updated by creem.Recently I had a ride (LEL-6188 Honda City White) and total fare was only 214 rp, I was in rush as I needed to catch a bus and when I arrived at destination, careem driver doesnt have change and neither do i, so i asked him to add the balance amount in wallet. Later on I have checked there was no balance amount. Btw I have paid 1000 rp and after fare deduction balance would have been 786rp. But driver took advantage of situation and he put money in his pocket and now creem service providers are not taking responsibility. As per them drivers are not allowed to add balance more than 400. I have never heard or read such policy before, since this is fraud case careem must take action against the driver.Moreover with same ride careem team changed my Go Service option into Go Plus without consulting me,when i selected Go option while booking. I must say this is a pathetic Service ever. I will never use it again even my recommendation not to support such irresponsible service providers.

Worst experience using Careem. I took a trip in RAK to the Suwadi Pearl farm, the driver told me that the payment failed and collected cash from me. One month after the trip, Careem charged me again for the trip. Worst part is the support is of no use. Reported a problem twice and still nothing. No number to call or email to complain to. No response from Customer service after sending emails or complaints. Pathetic service.Never using Careem again. DTC is much better, cheaper and has better fleet of taxis. It’s a shame how they scam you for money by telling you to pay a deposit amount and charge you cash up front as well after you’ve received your goods.I had used Careem to get me cigarettes from the closest supermarket less than a kilometer away and they charged me deposit of 65/-.Regardless of the deposit the driver charged me 14/- for cigarettes.When I contacted Careem all they said was β€œApologies” and didn’t bother investigating my query further.Please never go through Careem. Careem Bike: Was charged a 150 aed few after buying a day pass, because I kept the bike longer than 45 minutes. When purchasing the day pass there was no indication I was going to need to return the bike and get a new bike. I was going to purchase a yearly subscription to careem bike because it seemed like a good way to travel and get a work out, but after A) learning about this 45 minutes policy and B) being given and overage charge, its a no from me. Yep, used to be one of my favorite modes of transportation around Dubai. Not since September. Drivers press the arrival button way too early, some wait for me in a totally different location of what has been ordered on the app and dont bother move their vehicle to the original place of arrival. Not to mention that the 2-min waiting time is becoming a trade mark and if you didnt remember what time exactly you have ordered the taxi, you might end up waiting beyond the 10min max waiting time when youre actually able to cancel the ride for free... Nowadays Im trying to avoid this service as much as possible and using the metro in stead.

I thought #Careem app’s mission is to enable customers easily book and ride Taxis with ease of a click, with excellent customer support and customer experience which are the most crucial for this industry.However, it is not true.I have encountered a simple problem, where I booked a taxi, but during search, the app put a slightly wrong pin (with correct building name though - it is my office and I take taxi from there every day!). I set the pin anyway as I thought I’d be able to call the driver as I did before. But something went wrong. I could not send a driver a message or call as his phone was off, and I was standing in the heat with bags and could not see him anywhere. After waiting in this heat (I was late for a meeting), I had to cancel and thought to report this case to your β€œattentive and caring customer support”. I attached all the screenshots, explanation and evidence, and Instead they keep sending me cancellation policy (3 times!) and don’t bother to check that actually the driver never came to the main entrance of my building and that his phone is not available to call him!I am very sad to see such poor service, lack of understanding it’s customer and will avoid using this app, as well as stop recommending it to anyone.

I used to be a big fan of Careem as it has always been reliable and always given promotions and deals. But recently I had bad experiences where I had to wait over 10min for a taxi (although the app was saying 2min away). This happened many times. And now the latest: I have changed phones and tried to login on the app with my new phone. Not possible. Even after resetting my password (multiple times). And the worst part is that in order to speak to a customer representative, I have to do it within the app!!!! As the number provided on google gives an automated response! Brilliant πŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ

Careem food delivery cancelled because of a technical problem at there IT system. 140AED stolen from my credit card afterwards without authorization and five days later still not paid back.I was promised by a manager that payment would be immediate! No compensation offered but hey we’ll take your money!

Yesterday evening, at 9:17pm, I placed an order with Careem now for food. Money was deducted from my account, order was confirmed and I received the estimated time the order will arrive (40 minutes). At 9:45 pm I opened the app to check how much longer, only to find that my order had been cancelled. No notification sent, no phone call, not even an email to say the order had been cancelled. I proceeded to check my bank account to ensure that they had refunded my money. NO REFUND.I contacted the restaurant and was informed that, careem had been notified they were not accepting online orders at 8pm.I called the call center for assistance and had probably to worst customer service experienced in the UAE (very difficult when customer service standards are so low here). The agent told me that I had careem credit... not something you want after the 2nd time they do this. I asked for a refund and was informed 5-10 working days. NO WHERE IS THIS MENTIONED IN THEIR POLICY. As many of you know a refund can be done immediately here in the UAE however it charges the company to refund the money if done in a certain time period.I requested to speak to the supervisor as the agent would not listen to me. He refused to transfer me and instead insisted he would get someone to call me back. My faith in this company at this point was lost so not waiting for a call back. I persisted to request to speak to the supervisor. I was placed on hold for 15 minutes.Supervisor did his best to assist but again the refund was going to take 4-6 working days.In the mean time while on hold I wrote to the Careem Contact link on their site explaining what I had experienced and you know what. They sent me a response. OLA addressed be by the wrong name, reference a completely different issue and currency linked with my order and again did nothing to help. Again I was informed 4-6 working days.When correcting her in my response... she had the audasity to respond. Not an apology for her email and how she had spent no time to compose it but merely a standard cut and paste response you provide to cover for the company.Sad to see how being bought out by Uber has led to the demise of a company that actually used to be great. This will be the last time I use Careem.

I am always using careem everyday for going to office and to home since last month till now but today I wanted to use my points and I clicked on Redeem because I have 31k more points for free of 2 rides supposedly but then it didnt work. They cheat me. They want me to go to website which is I am confuse why as I already have the apps installed in my mobile. I am so disappointed about this. I attempt to call on their landline number but it didnt work too. They automatically end my call. So disappointing.

On three occasions whilst using this app my order has not been delivered in full. I pay for everything online thus I feel they take advantage of this and don’t deliver all products. I have asked for a refund for the balance or a refund and I never got any. I suggest that you do not pay these people in advance. Only pay when you receive the product. I am deeply disappointed. It’s completely Unacceptable to have your taxis without rear AC! Airflow isn’t reaching and passengers almost suffocate from heat during August! Pls stop using front AC cars as Taxis! I won’t be ordering anything from Careem ever again. Rode two times with Careem today in dubai sourced from Hala taxi.

I entered the wrong drop off location by mistake. However the captain dropped me to the right location without asking me for any extra amount despite the trip was already ended and the right location was 10 mins far away.I did however pay him extra amount happily which he was refusing to accept at the first place. Such a gentleman.Captain was also very kind to help me with my luggage and his car was super clean too.Had an awesome experience with Careem. Keep it up πŸ‘Œ

THE WORST APP for food delivery by far. Customer care is inexistent, customer agents are not capable of even understanding proper english, they care about money and they dont give a d**n for customer satisfaction. Zomato continues to be the best app in customer support. Careem fights to get your money one way or another even when.its their mistake. Awful. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF PLACING YOUR ORDER WITH THEM EVEN WITH AN 80% discount so they will be forced to either leave the market or improve dramatically to survive.

Worst customer service ever, I was double charged on one course and i am yet to receive the refund of the second charge, what they have done instead is refund me with Careem credits when I have never ask for these in the first place. The way they do it is, they will double charge you or take money from your account and when you raise a complaint they will do whatever they can not to refund you, they would instead offer you their careem credits just to make sure you will use their services. This is illegal and I have raised a complain with D.E.D and RTA. Of course you send them emails they just do not respond. This is extremely bad customer service. Beware!

Thank you for your superb service during our Dubai visit on Valentines week. Was with family, 6 members and you just added spark to our tour. Got taxis very comfortably every where and very polite cab drivers.

We had such a terrible experience using CareemΒ BIKE app! First, we tried to unlock a bike by scanning the QR code and we tried around 8 times from different stations and bikes. We always got the same error message but they charged 1AED from my card for each of the 8 times we tried! Then, I tried the other way, I added 50AED to my wallet on Careem app, but still got the same error message and they even charged 1AED from our wallet balance for each time we tried AGAIN. Being a senior App Designer for over 11 years, I understand that sometimes annoying issues can happen, however when I reported the problem to customer support and asked for a full refund which is the only obvious solution in this case, I got no response at all! Is this how you treat your customers? I will never ever use the service and will certainly not recommend it to anyone!

CAREEM Customer Service Call Centre is HORRIBLE!!!They have so much echo that you never understand each other, they will keep silent and makes you nervous as you keep on saying hello, they will put you on hold until you give up and drop the phone as they NEVER get back! Even simple query they dont know what to answer!!!

The driver maybe pretends that something is wrong with the booking and collects the fare in cash, then the amount is also debited from your card. Wow so you end up paying twice. The customer care does not exist, as I complained 3 times and no answer at all. Something has to be done to this company.

The worst food service you can ask for, I made my order and it never came and they never answer their phones at 9pm, the restaurant has no idea about the order, if you cannot stand up to the quality of service just stop offering food order through your app, I dont recommend anyone to order through their app
