We went for a birthday dinner in The Talk Restaurant on a Thursday night. It was easily accessible and had a valet parking.We were received by pleasant hosts at the reception. After booking inquiry we were taken to our tables. The restaurant has nice interiors, ambience and setup.The staff was friendly, attentive and supportive.However when it comes to the food options, it was kind of a let down. The buffet had the minimal dishes and they too tasted pretty ordinary.It was supposed to be a BBQ night but to be honest we did not feel like it. The options were bare minimum and tasteless.It was a huge disappointment and would definitely rate the Buffet as the lowest.

A glamorous dinner! A wonderful place to be specially on an evening. The dinner brunch was simply amazing. Very friendly staff who is willing to go the extra mile for customers. We went with kids and they asked for cherry cola it was not in their regular menu but they made it and gave the kids. Also we had a birthday and aksed if can get a small piece of cake with a candle they surprised us with a square cheese cake and the whole staff was singing happy birthday and was a real celebration!

International food at it’s Best! Wonderful selection of different varieties and mouthwatering desserts. Talk Restaurant....Top Service for great price!! Talk Restaurants Friday Brunch at Movenpick Hotel JBR not only has great food, amazing service, but fantastic price. They have the Beyond Burger for my vegetarian friends and a great grill section. What is best is the price, most brunches are so expensive, but at The Talk, I did not hear my wallet scream when the bill came. AED199 with soft drinks and AED269 with alcoholic beverages. BUT having said all the good stuff about the food and price, what I really enjoyed was the service by the staff. Amazingly friendly and helpful. All extremely polite and oh so friendly. and to top it off, I left my reusable straw in my glass, and thought it was gone, but they saved it and contacted me so I could come and get it. Now THAT is service!! The Talk will be a place we shall go to over and over for Friday Brunch.

Me and my family had iftar and here is my rating: Very helpful kind service they even specially ordered us french fries. Not much of food variety but good taste; fits different tastes. Maybe only increase the variety of fresh fruits and juices, seafood, sweets. Hot drinks were fantastic and great. Overall good experience but wouldnt really comeback again; however, if they worked on these stuff I would highly consider coming back because it was a very welcoming warming atmosphere.

Absolutely not worth it, selection at buffet was minimal and mostly luke warm dishes. Food was nothing special also, a couple of salads and a couple of 3 star level hot dishes

We came for open buffet on Friday and I had reservation before, then after I asked for the price they informed me the price 179dhs for 1 persone without alcohol( so using the Entertainer will be 1 and 1 free ) and after we finished the bill came 300 and after asking why the price had changed the answer was because you are using the Entertainer the price will increase.So they doesnt respect the entertainer policy! and they infrom the customer random prices !!

I was so disappointed with the options. The buffet is definitely not up to par with the competitors. We went on a Saturday night. I literally went home and made dinner.Don’t waste your money.

My family and I went for friday brunch in The talk & soul movenpick JBR, we really did enjoy and good value using 2 for 1 entertainer voucher. Charisa from the reception is very friendly and she assisted us well. The same when we stayed at the cabana in which near at the pool area Mary who’s incharged in our area are very attentive and we really enjoyed her great service.

This was my second time here, sat at the bar this time on a semi busy Wed. Overall it was a good experience with excellent bread and oil and a delicious eggplant ricotta app to start. The cocktail was very good too but one of my pet peeves is not having prices for cocktails listed. Why is that allowed? We split a spicy shrimp pasta dish and arugula salad, prices about $23 and $11. Folks sitting at the bar were friendly as was the bartender although he bordered on too friendly. Then again thats better than a bartender who barely acknowledges you.

We celebrate our valentines and the theme is meet and greet but we are disappointed, because there is no meet as we expected, all the food is more on chicken waste of money...😞😭

Good selection of breakfast and mostly healthy choices in the buffet. Im glad that they have a section for cooking eggs and pan cake and waffle section in they buffet breakfast hours. The staff are really nice and professional especially Laxmi, Samirla, Chariza, Justine. Fascinating that they are good in remembering the guests coffee and tea preferences.

It seem to have improved from our last visit or perhaps its just that - consistently a hit or miss. We definitely enjoyed the food this time. The service is good too.

Went for the seafood night.. there is a lovely play area for the kids to be occupied.. the manager was kind enough to get out drinks from the bar.. even if it was not on the menu.. great service... loved the seafood chowder soup..

We have been here as a couple, with friends and family and all the time everybody is amazed by the service and quality of the food. Enough choice between meat and fish and lovely and tasty deserts. The price is good and during brunch there is some nice entertainment. Bouncing castle for children and a live band are examples.

One of the best and luxurious buffet setups I have ever seen. Friendly staff and amazing presentation and display of their food and desserts. Was here for lunch which had a lovely Ambience that was setup with the Lovely lively duet. Will be definitely back for more.

Expensive and poor, the nasigornig was very very poor ! two pieces of chicken with rice that had few small pieces (may be 2 or 3) of shrimp although the description was “ Prawns”. Disappointing.Chicken with garlic looked like as if they were cooked it yesterday and reheated. Looked poor, the taste was ok. Don’t dine there at all.
