My husband bought a pair of optical glasses, paid AED 2898 in total on 1 May. Received a call so we went back to collect the glasses today on 7 May, we probably reached the shop at about 10.05pm.The sales team expected us to just collect the glasses and leave. When my husband test wore it and asked for assistance for fitting adjustment as it didnt fit well, we were told that the technician is not available. Then Mr. Donald came when we questioned how could an optical shop serve customers without optometrist or technician, especially when we made our purchase on 1 May it was close to 12am and there was optician around still. We travelled a long way to Dubai Mall to collect the glasses, so if the technician is only available for a certain time frame, they should at least make it clear to us when they called us to collect the glasses!It was shocking to hear from Mr. Donald that very few customers would actually required fitting adjustments, most of the customers would just come and collect without needing fitting assistance. It really sounded as if he was hinting we are being extra trouble maker? He then proceeded to claim himself to be fully qualified to help with fitting adjustment, and asked my husband to tell him what is wrong and which part is requiring adjustments. We refused his assistance because he really didnt sound convincing by the way he stood away and asked my husband what is wrong, instead of being hands on to check the fitting with his hands? Its really worrying to hand in a new glasses costing 3k to a person who claimed fitting adjustment is normally not required.Dear Rivoli and Mr. Donald, its a common sense that eyeglasses don’t always fit perfectly straight out of the box, which is why we opted to purchase from your shop and paying not a cheap price, expecting somewhat professional services at least. We had purchased optical glasses and sunglasses many times before. Regardless the prices, every single time, the professional opticians would assist with examining of the frame fitting, feeling how the glasses fit behind the ears with their hands, telling us to move our head to check if the new glasses slide down our nose, etc, and then proceeded with nose pads or frame adjustments for better fitting. We are definitely not the professional here, but we definitely had received some professional services before, EXCEPT from your shop this time.Your staff made us feel so belittled and trying to make us feel that asking for a fitting adjustment for a new eyeglasses is NOT a normal service expected. Your staff also did not sound apologetic for making us to travel back to Dubai Mall again, purposely only for the fitting adjustment. Your staff also did not admit that they should have at least informed us about the availability of optician for fitting adjustment when they called us to collect the glasses.My true regret is to spend about 3k at your store, only to receive such unprofessional and unfriendly services. We left the store so disappointed and irritated by the level of customer service offered by your store. Piece of advice, it is normal for fitting adjustment for new glasses, its a respect to inform your customer to collect within certain time frame if your optician is not available throughout entire operating hour. Period.

The initial experience was fantastic. But the product level experience was pathetic. If I am paying higher than market price the only reason is service and product authenticity. But both the parameters failed. I don’t will ever plan my purchase from here.

Bad experience!Bought frame & lens for my kid. I was told 5 days to deliver, upon asking why this many days - if the product was expensive I would get it in 48 hours because my buy was for ~800 Dhs (its good amount of money for me) it will take more days and they will try getting early.I called after some days and requested for an update on delivery and requested as it is for my kid. I was replied, will try.On 08-Dec-2020 for almost one hour I tried calling from 8:20 pm to 9:20 pm no one picked up the call. And today luckily someone picked up the call and said will update you on the delivery. I again requested it is for my kid and it is difficult for him without glasses.I now got a whatsapp message saying it cannot be delivered today. The technician informed them that it is expected to be delivered by tomorrow.Hoping to get my kid glasses asap.PS: I am a customer of Rivoli and bought my 2 glasses from here thats the reason I preferred this shop instead of many other shops in the mall.However this time it was a bad experience.Ref: Inv no: 000012106L00001268313795

(Aftersale issue)Ill never buy anything from this place again, and I wont really recommend anyone to do so.I bought Rayban eyeglasses 6 weeks ago, and now I found a chip in one of the expensive lenses (image attached), supposedly the eyeglasses and lenses are under warranty, and when I went there asking for help they said that the lens chip is not included in the warranty!! Then what does!!The sold me that expensive lenses mentioning that they are of a high quality, but apparently they are not of high quality at all, had a chip (which can happen according to their assumption because of a very high pressure!) after weeks!I had a way cheaper lens before and lived for a looooong time with no cracks/chips at all!

The worse ever , the sales person lied to me and made me buy a sunglasses from the display as it’s the last piece , but two weeks later the glass screws were lost and when I went to the store I found another in the display!! I called the company to complain three times but no one cares .I highly recommend not buying from this company.

I raised my concern on rivolis contact us page on the same day to claim return/refund. I received no response the next day, so I send an email on 21/07/2019 12:00 pm and waited for 2 days with no luck. I took the item to the store on 23/07/2019 9:00 pm and requested for return/refund - the sales staff took the item removed the wrong barcode sticker and returned the unit saying - we do not offer any refund to customers. Ive never experienced such poor response to consumer concerns, eyezone will be the last place ever, where I would visit in future.

Terrible service from start to finish, I went in for replacement lenses and they have actually managed to make my glasses wonky dipping to the right side, the sales person lied and told me to visit ibn mall as they have a technician, I have been back 4 times now and then they have now told me I have to travel to Dubai mall as they only have a technician, I would not recommend anyone to use this service, still waiting for a manager to call me back to fix this problem with some sort of customer service.

Never buying from that place again or recommending someone to go there. They sold me the display glasses and 1 month later noises start appearing and they wont fix.

Bought glasses from there for an expensive price but the parts were not assembled correctly. Here is my 2nd visit for them in 2 weeks. This is the last place you need to buy from.If there is a minus 5 i would not have spared it.
