I had to change the battery and keyboard on a Mac. The keyboard was quoted in stock and the battery one week delivery, so I brought the computer for repair.Then the keyboard they had in stock was faulty (?!) and the battery was not available, so they returned the computer to me. From that point they couldnt tell me if and when the parts were going to be available!Eventually I got it fixed (for half of the price, btw) in a small shop in Bur Dubai, specialized in Macs.In conclusion, they want to give you a flashy image, they are expensive, but pretty much useless.

And now I will recommend your company and Dello to everyone if they face issues in future.When I first failed to access my work on WD My Passport external hard drive, (after an big Sur update through the hard drive for my MacBook) people said that either my folders were toast or that I would have to leave my hard drive with them - for Deep Scan for a few days and then they would give a price based on the outcome. And take few more days to retrieve the files - if possible.. I heard all kinds of horror stories..Dello showed me my files within 10 minutes and not just retrieved my folders but had me verify them. He then backed them up, reformatted my hard drive for Mac and Windows- all within 2 hours. With no jargon. Salut guys...

Friendly, professional, and cost efficient team. I had my old Samsung galaxy s7 battery replaced. After analysis and appointment taken, the technician came to my hotel and replaced the battery in front of me in less than 10 min. Amazing job and the phone is working great. No data loss.

Their technical expertise goes as far as replacing a battery or broken screen. Take your laptop repair elsewhere, these are not qualified technicians. Poor communication and no response.

How easy it is to deal with Geeks! You tell them your problem (fixing an iPhone screen in my case) and they give you all the details. My very recent experience with this company was unbelievably dissatisfying that I refused to proceed with the service and moved to another company. (Even though they had done multiple jobs in the past)1: they asked and quoted me to replace some devices but after questioning and follow ups they said that the devices are in good condition and no need to change. So, I didn’t find them reliable and trustworthy as the disparity and inconsistency in giving me honest advise became questionable.2: they charge for site visit but there is no guaranty or trust in doing the job properly as their own staff undermines the previous job that is done by their own team in order to sell you more. (I.e: “this needs to be installed correctly as it was not not done properly before, you’ll be charged for that”)3: if you ever decide to use them, make sure everything works fine before they leave and continue to monitor the activity of the devices.Not recommended!

Last November(2019), my Macbook Pro 2018(15’) had a backlight issue, and I got it fixed on from Geeks.First fix took almost a month, a guy came with a bill and my Mac that the keyboard doesnt work. Thanks god that I checked it before I pay.It was ridiculous that they didnt even check if it works properly. Of course I returned it, and they suggested me to pay approx. 1000 AED more to change keyboard part. I told them its unfair that after all the tests and fixing they did, right away theyre asking more money on some issue that they didnt even recognize until I FOUNT IT.Thanks to Geeks that they fixed it for no additional cost later on, UNTIL I find out how brutal they destroyed my main board, keyboard etc.. My Mac had the same issue again after a week since it got fixed for the second time . So I had to wait another month driving back and forth to Geeks to minimize the time.However, even though it took almost 2 months and half, I appreciated that they did their best they can to get it fixed fully, at least I thought so until today I see with my bare eyes how they messed up with my mother board, and keyboard. You guys thought that I would never open my Mac? Well if I didnt, I would never know whats been done and wasnt be able to tell other people how actually they fix Macs. Maybe they did some incredible job on iPhones Macs etc., but if any of you got it fixed from Geeks, open it (if you have skills, other than just call a technician) if you can. And check if its okay.I called an engineer today to check my Mac, because the same issue happened again. And guess what? “Paper Tapes”?? Seriously???They removed the cover of mercury battery part and others as well, replaced it with TAPEs. And didn’t even mention about anything to me.Not only that, but look at the one side of speaker is scratched badly, and all those messy writings on the mother board. Some Chinese signature(?) “carved” on my main board. Look at my keyboard part below.Dear Geeks, I have no idea why you did this to my Mac, but its a crime.I am speechless.I wish to give you 0 star if I could.

My MacBook Air wasnt turning on and I almost had given up since Apple store said the motherboard is broken and I have to pay almost the same amount as buying a new laptop. A competent and quick replacement to your official provider. They tend to get things done on the spot as you wait outside on a couch with a Playstation 4 controller. The Geeks arent only friendly, but can tell you on the spot whether something can or cant be done, saving you time and money. And if they get things wrong every now and then, as we all do, theyll do it again and again until youre satisfied, or youll get your money back. They deal with kinds of devices, be it phones or laptops, and if you do decide to visit, either cab it, make sure you have enough time to wait for a parking spot, or give them a ring when youre waiting to park and theyll send someone down to pick it up from you. I think they also have a pick up service from your location, but I havent tried.

To be honest, usually dont have issues with Geeks. However with my current issues I have been facing i found it outrageous I had to go back nearly 3 times within the space of a month, one being the next day after my screen was fitted however it was resolved the next day although it seemed as if the conversation was directed at me to blame. I find myself in a similar situation within a month where the phone has a slight line on the top and yet again i was to blame, not down to their lack of quality screens and fits provided. This should be included in their warranty package however the only resolution which was offered was myself being nearly forced out of a further 800 AED which i then thought would not make sense due to thinking the problem would occur again sooner or later.The customer service skills lack and made me feel once as if i was at fault. I will be getting a second opinion now and still cant make out how the warranty would work? I will be further posting this on groups which many recommendation post in relation to screens for the expat community. Currently would not recommend Geeks for their lack of quality and lack of customer service especially whilst referring to other companies whilst dealing with them.I will further be getting influencers here in Dubai which are good friends to re share my experience

I was surprised to know that through Apple when I have sent my iPhone for repair and they clearly stated that the screen is not an original one.I always thought of Geeks offering genuine products.Its very disappointing to come to know this after having trusted them for 5 years.

You cannot reach them on the phone. Impossible, I was waiting for 26 minutes and then hung up. They can only call you when they please and you cannot call them back if you missed the call. No confirmation on receiving the phone and no update on when its ready. Competitors have better service

Geeks are always very helpful. Usually I visit them if I have any issues with my laptop or other device. One day they saved my whole hard drive with all info on it. Super-staff and always online!

Could not fault the experience if I tried. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very nice and was quick at arranging my GEEKS appointment. Rafi arrived bang on time and my smashed iPhone screen was fixed within 20 minutes in the comfort of my own office. The added ease of also paying by card at the end contributed to the ultimate efficiency and quality of the experience as a whole. Hopefully Ill never have to use these guys again, but if I do find myself with another smashed phone screen, GEEKS will be the first to receive a phone call :)

Not happy. Won’t use this service again.I have used this service to repair mobile screens 3 times. It was fine the first 2 times.But the last time my screen was replaced it had a fault. And i had to call the techie again to fix it in not more than 3 days. He replaced the screen and it worked well for 2.5 months. It has gone bad again. When i called up the company they made me feel as though they were doing me a favour.He actually said this is the last time and no more warranty claims after this. The service agent said the same thing 3 times.The screen he fixed today doesnt work properly either. I dont feel like calling them again. Thanks but no thanks. I would rather pay a couple of hundreds more stand in line and get it fixed else where.

I was pretty upset that the feedbacks were not precise enough to understand all circumstances. I had to complain hard enough to get feedbacks that I could be satisfied. First, they sent me a still-broken laptop with a credit card machine to make me pay for it. Fortunately, I checked it in details and sent it back. And when I got it back next time, it had the same issue after 2 days. And I am still slightly afraid that it can happen again anytime, but lets see.However, they were more flexible regarding dealing with my situation than I expected. If you can check customers gadgets more thoroughly before hand it over and response more in a problem resolving-sided way, not asking me to wait 2 more weeks when 3 weeks of time has already been passed, I would be much much better. (they tried to make it super-fast after I complained harsh)Anyway, GEEKS probably has their own reasons because I do not think that they try to make any customer dissatisfied. Misleading info on the website stating they do home service for laptop repair considering data sensitivity. In reality they want you to visit their store and hand over the laptop for 2 to 3 days only for assessment and then later for fixing.

Ive used Geeks a number of times, ranging from a missing key on a laptop to installation of outdoor cameras to monitor my home. Each time, without exception, their agile responsiveness and the quality of work they have done has been refreshingly (and consistently) on point. I highly recommend them.

Paid an incredible amount, double what you pay anywhere else in the world and the with no physical damage at all to the screen the LCD internally ruptured or cracked which rendered the screen unusable. With no physical damage it was clearly an internal problem and defect which should have been corrected and replaced by Geek.ae but they refused and returned the unit at my request as I would surly not pay them again.They came back saying it was due to damage and wanted us to pay again for another screen replacement. They said they use quality parts, so I took it to the Apple Store and they said there was no physical damage and it was a cheap quality LCD the is common not to last very long and crack internally.So from this one may possibly assume two things. They do not provide quality OEM replacement parts and they definitely from my experience with them do not stand behind their replacement parts.I have ordered new OEM parts from the US at a quarter of the price including shipping with 1 year warranties and will have them replaced myself easily.I would not recommend this company due to the poor experience with their company policies and products.

My phone (Google pixel) turned off and wouldnt turn back on for no reason (no water damage/not broken) so I brought it to Geeks. It took a couple of days, and although they specialize in fixing iPhone and Samsung phones, they got the best technician to open up the phone, replace the part that was defective, and my phone turned back on! (This is after I took it to another place and the technician there said that the motherboard was destroyed and that I lost all the data (none of that was true). Thank you Geeks. You guys rock!
