His restaurant is a must for quality and authentic Chinese food lovers. All the dishes; shrimps, chicken, and beef were excellent. Some of the sauces were home made by the Chef. Most recommended would be the lettuce chicken appetizer, and the chicken lemon & sweet n sour as mains. The staff was very attentive. One can choose to sit outdoors or indoors while both are pleasant. Will be coming back soon Long Yin! Thanks for the enjoyable experience.
Situated in the Le Meridien airport hotel so of course they have a resident captive market and the price is very highFood was nice but certainly not worth the price. No promos or entertainer offers so I would not use it again as its just poor value for money reallyService and surroundings are very pleasant
A genuine Chinese cuisine restaurant. I like that the place has been there for a long time which adds to their expertise in their field. Seating area was nice and the service by all staff was so professional and welcoming. This should be a regular place for you if you like Chinese food. Do call for reservations in advance especially on weekends or if you are a big group.
Stayed in Dubai for one week and on the last day and the last dinner we by chance came to Long Yin at a Saturday where they offered unlimited Dim Sum and soft drinks for aed 119 pp. The food was prepared fresh and served table side, Jhun - was a fantastic waiter mastering the service like Bruce Lee.Chicken Sweet Corn Soup (An amazing standard dish that never disappoints)Steamed Chicken Buns (That go amazingly against the background of the chili paste)Crispy Beef (Best in Town) crispy, light, and fresh like popcorn yet juicy even though very thin pieces. The falvour is a spicy sweet. Perfect!
Still the best traditional Chinese restaurant in Dubai. It has been renovated with fresh and more relaxed decor. Large variety of food items although I noticed that they use one fish for all their seafood items; Hamoor which is disappointing as customers may prefer other types of fish. I rate it as excellent for their category. Service is very good.
There is a good range of dishes available such as the wasabi prawns, shredded beef with chilli and mango pudding. Service was attentive and efficient. There was ample parking available. I miss the special deal on Fridays as it is now on Saturdays.
We were having the 119dhs all you can eat dim sum. Food wise its very nice. The food is very tasty, portion is just what you can expect of dim sum, small portion and lots of choices. The staff are very nice but seems like they are a bit understaffed, our orders got forgotten more than once, and you need to remind the staff, the order paper got lost somewhere... The walnut is amazing but once again you have to ask for it. Dessert is not nice, the coconut jelly is more or less tasteless. But all and all its nice.
The food here is marvelous. I had ordered the fried rice, shrimp dumplings, wasabi prawns, and prawn on toast. I was thoroughly impressed by how good the food was.
This used to be my parents’ favorite Chinese restaurant in Dubai. However over the pandemic, we ordered through Deliveroo, and our order was accepted at 14:10. However, we received a call at 15:35 to say our order is canceled because their last order is at 14:45. This is really disappointing especially since it has been one of our favorite restaurants, used to have good customer service, and is in a five star establishment.
Use to be my favorite Chinese restaurant but the last 2 visits were bad.Terrible terrible service. We had to wait for 10 minutes to be seated even we made reservation. All the staff see us but totally ignored us.I had to grab the staff attention to get the seat but then no one came to talk to us for the next 20 minutes. They should have more staff.Really disappointed with the restaurant. If you want to eat there, don’t go on weekend night. You will be totally ignored.
Great food and staff. Little bit pricey, but they accept many discount such as emirates platinum card. chairs are a little bit weird/uncomfortable.
Good food but service way below expectations
Nice atmosphere.delicious Chinese dumplings and good service.kind of slow but overall good.bit costly but worth the effort
Very gracious hosts, great food amazing service
Stayed here at the hotel on a long Emirates layover and had lunch at Long Yin as a random choice. The seating, location and lighting were enough to enjoy the food.I had the Noodles with Vegetables and the Hamour in a slightly sweet, but not overpowering sauce, Szechuan style. The food was on par with any other higher end Chinese restaurant that I have eaten at in any number of countries. The wait staff were all professional, pleasant and engaging. Nothing felt rushed.I feel compelled to add that the meal was complimentary but even with that fact I would stand by my evaluation. I did see the set menu prices and felt that given the quality, I wouldnt have any issue with the prices.
Visited Long Yin for a birthday celebration a week or so ago. Being seated outside was nice but the lighting was to dim so the overall feel was a bit dingy. The patio is actually quite nice so the ambience could have been better with a bit of effort. For starters, we ordered the prawn on toast which was excellent but the veg. spring rolls, were very average. The Peking duck was fine, as expected. For the mains, we ordered the steamed fish, chicken in black bean sauce and beef in XO sauce in a clay pot. Very average, nothing out of the ordinary, certainly not what we expected given the prices. The egg fried garlic rice was particularly disappointing as it was not jasmine rice but basmati rice which does little to enhance the flavour of Chinese curry dishes. The service was fine but like most places these days, they were understaffed. But when the staff were attending to us, they were very polite and helpful. All in all an OK experience but given the price point, disappointing. We could have got the same quality of food and service at a less reputed place for sure.
Delicious food. Must try their lamb and dim sums, topped off with Asian boost.
The all you can eat menu on Saturday is nice, although the choices are limited. Try to get a table outside, the ambiance is very nice!
Great food. Fine dining ambience
Id really liked this place, so ive been to a few other chinese restaurant and they didnt taste quite right for me, and its probably because theyre more authentic to china, whereas i was looking for more Hong Kong style. This restaurant def fits the bill, the style and taste is def what i wanted, and the dishes was delicously put together. Its just the little thing, HK dumplings tends to be abit more meatier with a little al-denteness to it, whereas chinese dumplings tend to be a little bit softer. Its not to say theyre bad, but just not what i like.
Very high quality of food, tried multiple dishes and all were authetically made although the prices are a bit too high
Best dumplings tried in Dubai and I live here for five years already. Definitely a winning place consenting consistency!
One of the best Chinese restaurants in dubai if not the best amazing delicious food 5 star.
One of the best Chinese restaurants in Dubai... love their caramelised banana with vanilla icecream for dessert
We have been regular customers of this restaurant, but lately the service has been just horrible. No one is there to seat your or to take your order. You have to shout to the staff to get any attention. Not 5 star hotel standard. Sadly we will not be going there again.
Every aspect is very good
Great Dimsums.
The food here was amazing ! Especially loved the fried noodles and the Kong Po chicken - but all of it was great. Was met with amazing hospitality and this great service was continued by our waitress, Vansie. She was lovely and amazing food - definitely recommend.
Hidden gem. Opposite the airport, a resturant that is both high in quality and taste. All you can eat buffet on sat with a fabulous menu variety. Extremely affordable prices and great vibe.
I have been eating here for 13 years and faithful to this restaurant the entire time... definitely my favorite restaurant in the UAE. June (Aproniano) and Adelfa are the best and Chef George is a genius. Order the “Prawns Wasabi” and you will become a fan as well.
Nice for Chinese plates and quite ambience
Good food, great staff and reasonably priced set lunch menu.
What a great place to be when celebrating love ones special occasion. Great for families and friends to share a relaxing brunch/dinner after work or over the weekend.
Still maintaining good quality food and service after all those years.
Waiters were polite, a bit expensive. I’m from Africa so that’s relative. The food was nice. Nice ambiance. And there’s a terrace too if you want fresh air
All Time favourite restaurant. Simply loving it
Extremely good, nice atmosphere, good food, the Korean Manageres very pleasant, and the remainder of the staff very attentive and very helpful. Try the crispy duck and pancakes, you will not be disappointed.
Probably the best Chinese restaurant I have visited in Dubai, but I still cant get it 5 stars. The reason for that is the price. It is a very expensive restaurant to eat at unfortunately. However the food was delicious and I loved the fact that I could get char sui pork. I would visit again, but only on a special occasion.
The.most amazing and authentic chinese food .loved it
Good Chinese food at Le Meridian. The soup and dumplings are one of the best in town. Service is also on par with whats expected of a restaurant in a 5 star hotel. Dim lights good comfortable seating. A Dubai classic close to the Airport.
The best Chinese restaurant in Dubai.Seldomly you get your PERFECT MEAL, food 5* ambiance 5* service 5* amazing just amazing everything was fantastic, right from the soup,to the starters to the main course and to the dessert all was just SUPERB. Special kudos to Mr. Ramon & Mr. Peter.Thank you.Great Great Restaurant
Great food and great service, value for money.
Great place nd great food
Excellent chinese/Asian food. The dumplings are very are delicious especially the beef one. The Mongolian beef is also very good. I also liked their seafood Udon. Overall, I always leave satisfied. Im only giving it 4 starts because the last time I had the duck there it was dry and it seemed that it had been prepared a while ago. Id definitely recommend the place though for Asian food lovers.
Very lovely food, but the portions for the main course are minimal. Still, the service and the place was exceptional. Thank you 😊
Really great food and even better service. One of Dubais best Chinese restaurants
Excellent Cantonese style Chinese food. There are only a few of these here in Dubai. If you dont have a voucher may seem overpriced but well worth it.
One of the good chinese restaurant
Quality food in good environment with nice service
We just had a sumptuous dinner at Long Yin. Peter, the restaurant manager, is I think the most accommodating of all the restaurant managers in the Le Meridien restaurant chains. He goes out of his way to know his clients. Aproniano/Jun who has introduced us to the Gourmet club three years ago has never failed to be, I think the best, most professional server in all the chains as well. He loves and enjoys what he is doing and it shows. This goes with the other crew of Long Yin. My family and I feel very relaxed and satisfied every time we go to Long Yin. The food of course is the best. They only serve fresh ingredients. Shout out to the chef as well. It is, I think, the best Cantonese restaurant in Dubai. Having lived in Hong Kong for a long time, the food is what we miss so much. Long Yin’s food provides that longing for good Cantonese food.
Very nice Chinese restaurant in Dubai... they had one of the best Pekin Ducks I have ever had ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️You evens didn’t have to roll them your self 😂 they did it by the table why you were watching 😋The first I had was soft Shell crab.. it wasn’t in my taste!
Nice resturant you may enjoy with your family
Delicious Chinese food with great Chinese beer.. Excellent service and a cozy sitting area.
We were supposed to go to Ding Tai Fung in Al Ghurair Centre but it’s closed during Ramadan. So we called Long Yin asking if they’re open. The only replied we got is last order is 2:45pm. it was around 1.30pm. So we say sure we’re going there immediately.Arriving there in 10min, we were told that all tables are booked. But we can wait for 20 mins. Since we’re starving, we sat down and checked the menu while waiting. After some time the waitress told us again no body left so we’re unlikely to get a table. They could have told us it’s fully book on the phone when we called. so we wont even come and wait for a spot that is unlikely to get.Very disappointed.
Excellent food and great service
BEST CHINESE IN TOWN
Probably the best duck in the city. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly!
Great food love the set meal and affordable
Tasty and delicious chinese cuisine and service is excellent.
Amazing restaurant, fabulous food, but expensive
Great environment... food was also great especially the sesame coatings they do...
A perennial favourite with great service and fantastic menu.
Excellent Chinese food at fair prices.
Good food with great price of with Meridean card
Good food and good staff.
We came here for lunch on Saturday afternoon on a reservation (it is recommended to reserve a table). The place was not busy when we came here at quarter to 1 pm. But by the time we left it was packed with people. The staffs here was very courteous and inviting and made us really comfortable and helped us with the menu as well.We ordered 2 drinks - Virgin Green Apple Mojito & Lime and Mint Cooler. Bothe were really nice. For soups we ordered - Chicken Cream of Corn Soup & Chicken Hot and Sour Soup. They were tasty and perfect. The portion is just perfect for 1 person and cannot be shared by 2.For Appetizers we ordered - Deep Fried Chicken Wontons & Chicken Floss Rolls. The wontons were just perfect. Crispy on the outside and soft and just inside. For Main Course we ordered - Kong Po Style Stir Froed Diced Chicken, Fried Noodles with Diced Chicken and Vegetables & Schezwan Fried Rice with Chicken. The portion of main course is really good enough for 2 person and had to work hard to finish what we ordered. The staffs were really nice and helpful. They gave us the menu and also explained to us about the dishes. They always had an eye on every guests to make things were all in place and nothing was short like refilling the water as soon as the glasses were empty.Overall it was a good experience and nice place to visit. However it is on an expensive side and would be good visit for special occasions
