Have tried their business lunch set .For the starter,The Hutong roll is very nice , recommended. The beef salad is too much salty as a salad .For the main course. The tiger prawn is recommended while the Chicken is lower than the average.All in all, not very authentic Chinese taste but still can have a try.Next time might try the Peking roasted duck, stay tuned.

Superb restaurant. Though this is a high end restaurant, you get value for your money. The food tasted excellent, the service was superb. It was full when we went there, glad we made the reservations. Although the restaurant was full, it doesnt feel crowded. I like this restaurant and I would recommend you try this too.

We tried the golden lantern package, price is fair with good selection of foods, definitely enough for lunch or dinner. They have the card for you to make a wish and hang on the tree.About the food:Truffle mushroom bao is nice in look and flavour.Kung Pao Prawn is more like for eastern Chinese, which tastes sweet, not for me hhhh and is it really Kung pao??The crispy tofu is surprising though, it looks like sticky but actually crispy outside and tastes normal tofu inside, but it would be better if more flavour is added into the tofu.For the main dish, red lantern, the crab is good, bit oily. However the chilli, I don’t recommend anyone to actually try it, don’t ask me why I said so😹I almost cried…. Well, it’s very Szechwan😹Bao & Soy is so cute!! The soy ice cream could be wrapped into a soy milk cup like those sold on the Chinese streets everywhere, that might be interesting and matching the bao!Btw if you’re driving there, just a reminder that they actually have valet parking service in front of the building…. You don’t have to drive everywhere to find a parking place…..like we did…😹

This is a hidden gem of Dubai! There is no place which can match the ambience, food and music. Must have ordered 8 different dishes and each one was superb. The service is par excellence. You never have to wait for a server to order, fold your napkin or keep your table clean. Everything is expensive but value for money.

Went to Hutong for dinner. The amount of vegetarian options they offer was great to see, although the majority are starters. But they were still great and tasty. The ambiance is good, relaxed and comfortable. The service was outstanding, a server checked on us every so often.The cocktail were ok, and half full glasses.Overall a good experience for a vegetarian.My partner had the half duck and said it was one of the best duck hes ever had!

We went to Hutong restaurant for lunch today. From the valet parking service to the restaurant, it is a short walk to the entrance to the restaurant under the scorching sun., Making a hot day more uncomfortable. It was a bit inconvenient. We haven’t eaten Peking Duck yet, and we have been heated by the sun.They have a lot of spicy items in the menu, but we are not into spicy food. We ordered Peking duck. It is very fragrant and tastes great.Sesame Asparagus broadcasts a very special taste; the Chilean Seabass with leek is very tender; Pumpkin crab soup is top-notch. The waiters were very professional and courteous. Our car was out of order and we had to wait in the restaurant for the car to be towed away. The restaurant manager was very kind and let us to wait in the restaurant for three hours. We are grateful to each staff and manager for their kind service.

First time here last night and Ive already booked to go again tomorrow. What can i say? Food and service was exceptional. Ambience is very nice too. Valet parking easy. There is absolutely nothing I can say negative about this place. A big thanks to our waiter Saad who did a brilliant job serving us. There was also another lady who was fantastic but I forgot to get her name. Given I only live 10 mins away you will definitely be seeing more of me! 10/10

Absolutely Terrific experience!!This is a new place down in DIFC and one of the best Chinese cuisine you can find in town.Absolutely delicious food and ambience inside.Great staff and music makes the perfect mood setting.We tried the Hutong Rolls, The Peking duck and the Chicken Truffle with the Four season beans.Everything served on the table was just amazing taste.Definitely worth trying!!

Excellant food, we start with soup that similar to hot and sour soup and it was so nice. The Place location is very nice and very quite, they do the lights in very romantic way , you would love to set indoor or outdoor both are lovely and relaxing. Expensive but worth it. Food is so lovely and delicious.Staff are lovely and friendly plus professional. We will be back again and again.

Given that I’ve had dinner here, I must say I’ve never felt more welcome in any restaurant the same way I felt here. The service, especially that of the waitstaff, was amazing! The place has a beautiful ambiance and clearly gives off a ‘night life’ vibe which might be too dim for others. I booked a red lantern evening which also was my first tasting menu experience!For starters: I found the ‘green asparagus’ to be very sad and tasteless. The wild mushroom & truffle bao was interesting but I didn’t really enjoy the flavours as they didn’t go with the consistency of the bread. My favourite was the black and garlic chicken siu mai because the flavours exploded in your mouth and were truly surprising.For main course: the ma la chilli prawns were superb! The flavours were spot on, gave a kick of spice and hot flavour but it wasn’t overwhelming at all.The eggplant was basic and the sauce did not compliment the dish.The fried rice was cooked perfectly and tasted great!The ‘Red Lantern’ which apparently is the star of the show was overwhelming even to look at. It’s presentation was great, however, I found the dish to be lost potential because it was simply deep fried and the crab lost all its flavour. All I tasted was oil, no flavour whatsoever. I wouldn’t mind a higher price for a more proper dish.For dessert: The Bao & soy was super interesting and delicious and I would even come back specifically for it. All the different components of the dish were in harmony instead of desperately trying to make something different.For drinks: I separately ordered the comfortably numb cocktail and the planeta passito Di noto to have with my dessert. The cocktail was amazing but I found the dessert wine to be average. I also got charged 110 for a glass when the menu clearly states 90. I was quite confused and I’d hope if the business would clarifying any confusion.Overall: Not a place to be slept on, especially if you’re open to trying interesting and new flavours!Side note: I really wish the main course portions were smaller. Some of the dishes were really overwhelming.

I avoided Chinese restaurants for a long time because of how terrible cheap Chinese restaurants serve what they call Chinese food.I went to Hutong skeptical and boy was I in for big a surprise.I cant even begin to describe the experience: We ordered their Hutong experience which is a set menu priced at around 500 AED per person.Food: Impeccable dishes. Michelin Star ingredients, produce, cooking, plating and presentation. Every detail in the food wakes your senses and taste buds to new levels of taste you actually didnt know existed! This isnt Chinese food. This is super food!Servers and staff: The absolute best treatment you can ever expect from a Michelin star restaurant. These people serve you like youre actually a guest in their house.Price: Certainly the most generous restaurant in the DIFC. For 500 per person, 2 persons, we ate food easily enough for 4 persons.Dessert : PLEASE have the dessert as the first dish. Life is too short, you dont want the world to end before you actually try their unbelievable dessert.

It’s a beautiful restaurant that’s been decorated elegantly and in a nice area. Servers and the service as a whole has been good and attentive every time we have visited them. However i feel it’s over priced for the food that they do offer, it doesn’t match up to the quality and level of food at other restaurants in the same price range. One of the dishes in particular is a chicken chilli dish that has 90% just red chillies and a few small pieces of chicken in it, the chillies are so spicy that after trying it I was almost in tears and couldn’t eat anymore, and I can definetly tolerate spice.The business lunch price is acceptable if you want to try it out but otherwise it can be a waste of money.

Yesterday, my husband and I dined at Hutong for the first time since moving to Dubai early this year and what delightful surprise awaited us! The staff were wonderful, the atmosphere pleasant & elegant and the food simply put, was mouthwateringly delicious!

Dont get fooled by the design and interiors - the service and food are outstanding!DIFC is known as one of the most densely populated spots in Dubai for fine dining and aesthetic experiences. So, arriving at Hutong can be a bit of a turn off. The fence and fake greenery outside look like we were somewhere in Deira, and the quality of the interiors - FF&E and finishes - makes one wonder if they were procured right from Dragon Mart. However, as mentioned, everything that follows (except for the weird pseudo-Chinese dance performance) is worth every single penny!We came for brunch, and the cocktails as well as every single course were astonishingly perfect. The chef really knows how to combine flavours and textures - and creates and interesting journey through ingredients and dishes from the Far East: rolls, dumplings, tofu, duck, a delicate noodle soup with sea bass as a main dish and finally a rich desert platter with small items that boast pure culinary bliss...Despite the horrible interiors, a very talented sax player creates a nice Friday afternoon vibe. The welcoming and attentive hospitality expressed by the staff are definitely worth to remember.Therefore, Id give six stars for the food, drinks and service, but some minus points for the cheap look and feel. Still, Hutong will see me again!

What a pleasant experience! We went there last night to celebrate my partners birthday. I could say overall one of the best dining experiences weve ever had in Dubai. Everything in point. Super friendly and happy staff from the reception until our kind and humorous waitress Tina. Nice decoration (indoors looks better than outdoors). Pleasant atmosphere, appropriate background music, lightning. All dishes were well presented, extremely tasty, all condiments very well balanced. And the service was very timed. We were just impressed positively and I cannot think of anything that could be enhanced. We loved it!

A disappointment, apart from hot and sour soup, salty dishes to the point you cant feel the taste of the ingredients. Salty appetizer prawn dish, also beef salad starter was so salty that was inedible. Nice tender beef main however again, incredibly salty. Nice typical design but would not go back...

Celebrated my birthday here - great ambience and delicious food

Had the newly launched weekend dim sum and bubbly brunch. Drinks - liked the welcome Gin based cocktail, schezwan mule and Prosecco based cocktail. All the dumplings were amazing, really enjoyed the soup, fried rice and beef baos. They also had live performers on stilt and dancers which was a nice addition. The staff was very helpful and polite (Tina and Jackson did a fantastic job).

Every now and then, we get a craving for Chinese food and having been to Hakkasan, Shanghaime, Royal China before I was somewhat intrigued to check out Hutong ..... and so we were there over the weekend.What can I say - the Peking duck is outstanding to start with. Now adding truffle to it simply elevates the dish to beyond outstanding and makes us crave for it ever so more.We tried a few other dishes and they were outstanding too. Hope to try it their brunch one of these days!

Famed Chinese restaurant Hutong has locations in Hong Kong, NYC, Miami, London and has arrived in Dubai adding to the current Chinese food scenery. The Decor and ambience is a bit confusing. ‏ it is more of an Arabic theme rather than Chinese. Yet it is charming and lovely. Service was excellent and professional. Food is not as you may expect in traditional Chinese restaurants. For example the famous shark fin soup is not on the menu. Nor the sweetcorn or sweet-and-sour soup. The menu is also small compared to traditional Chinese restaurants. However the food is excellent and full of flavour. I have been to the one in New York and I can see that the one in Dubai is equal if not even better than the one in New York. Every dish was packed with flavour. It is a restaurant that you will come again to try.

Everything I ate at Hutong was so deliciously authentic, well executed, and fresh. What makes it more impressive is that the menu features dishes from all over China, and they somehow have to cater that to an international audience too! The staff was also top notch. They work as a well coordinated team and are all multilingual. Making and confirming the reservation with Natalia was seamless and my servers Jackson and Tina were also super helpful with ordering and just much more approachable than you’d expect at some places you’d go at Hutong’s level.

By far the best Chinese food I have ever had! Everyone enjoyed it, even the kids of 2 years old. It was the highlight of our Dubai trip. I recommend the peking duck and lobster! The lychee ice tea is also really good. The service is really good and they are child friendly! Too bad Dubai is so far, or else we would be coming every week haha. We will definitely visit Hutong London soon, as London is not far from Amsterdam.

Ambience of this place is more towards Turkish than Chinese. Food is okay but service during rush hours is slow. Dont think you can have a quick business lunch and leave under an hour.

The place is simply amazing! from the decor, ambiance, music. Staff extremely professional. The food was really tasty, we never tried Chinese like that in any place in Dubai, truly authentic, we loved Red Lantern dish. We will definitely come back to Hutong!

I am generally not a fan of dinning places that are dimly lit. The ambience was nice but I was apprehensive as the place was a bit dark for my liking.... The food and service put aside any apprehensions I had. Superbly executed and extremely flavourful food. We were all vegetarian and still the options were plenty and tasty. The food is exquisite and a must try, if one has not done it yet. We had the black diamond, asparagus, bamboo shoot , sizzling mushrooms and mapu tofu ceg fried rice and another dish sweet and tangy mushroom (dont remember the name as it was the only thing that I was underwhelmed by). Of The three deserts the tea infused brulle was not as great as the other two. I am not a desert person so dont remember the names but I had tasted them and loved it ... Pricey of course but worth every penny. The staff were non intrusive helpful with their suggestions and knew when to pop up and when to leave.

Lovely venue in DIFC close to the Ritz, serving up delicious Chinese food. Great service and a fantastic 3-course business lunch menu including big, juicy prawns. Otherwise definitely expensive, with a glass of wine a happy Dhs100. Great and willing service was the icing on the cake.

One word: incredible! Surprised my husband with dinner for his 40th birthday. Every dish we had was executed perfectly but I have to say we’ll come back just for the duck! Compliments to the chef! Lillian took good care of us and the rest of the staff are very friendly and were knowledgeable about the drinks and the food. Enjoyable Dim Sum and gorgeous atmosphere of DIFC meets here. At Hutong you can indulge yourself in the amalgamation of both tastes. Dim Sum is superbly nice coupled with terrific interior design. This place will surely make your day!

First and last time . Cluttering dirty , poor quality and portion (visit their neighbor and competitor royal China a block away to get an idea).Place has a great ambiance, decoration and service is fairly good, but the food deserves a third of the price or less, the place sells alcohol like if it’s gold. I wonder why Chinese don’t visit.In general this business creates an expectation they’re not able to match.

The restaurant has a lovely setting, very nice ambiance with choices of well presented and delicious food. To add to that, their roasted Peking duck is so far the best i have had in Dubai. Service is pretty good as well.

Today is my first time visiting there with my friends and I really love their food(business lunch set), from the soup, starters, duck to the desert (soy bao)! Each meal has it’s unique taste and flavour! I have had the opportunity to try Hutong in New York and in London and both the times my experience has been amazing. Hutong in Dubai had opened earlier this year and due to Corona it didn’t had much of a luck but as soon as the lockdown got over I managed to try this place not once but twice.Initially I went here to try the Ala Carte menu which was fantastic, some of my favourite dishes here are the Malay Chili Prawns, Soft Shell Crabs, and Chilean Sea Bass Noodles. You can never go wrong with these signature dishes here.Compared to the New York and London branch the decor is very different, and the one in Dubai has a more Arabic influence which makes sense as it goes with the culture and traditions of UAE.Just a few weeks back they have launched an Unlimited Dim Sum brunch and for a person who loves Bao’s and Dimsum this is a fabulous brunch. They have some classics and some very unique dishes like Spiced Chilean Sea Bass dim sum, Tea Smoked Truffle Rolls and my favourite Black Diamond tofu.I would highly recommend this place to anyone who fancies Asian cuisine and Dimsum. The place is too hyped, food did not meet expectations, we were there at night, after 10 pm , and i was surprised to see there were kids and babies during that time, there shld be a time limit to when kids should be allowed in the restaurant. Its nt really a family friendly vibe at night as the music is loud and its dark. The waitress wasnt very helpful we ended up ordering too much, for 3 person. Usually in other restaurants the waiter mentions that wt we ordered is enough. So we dont end up eating till we feel sick instead of enjoying the food. Even for dessert we asked about a specific dessert, and instead of the waitress telling us that its not on their menu, she brought another dessert that resembles it and contains ingredients one of us is allergic too. Atleast tell us or mentions it to us before placing the order, so we can order something else instead!

The place is very nice but I found the vegetarian food very average. Many other Asian restaurants are better - Nara, Royal China, miss tess and roca are all much better. Not a repeat visit for me.

Cool ambiance, and wish tree is a plus.Outside when you enter is like a secret garden.The Terrace is amazing for you to have a glass of champagne or cigar.The foods have no word to say,Authentic Chinese cuisine.You can have so many different sensations at the same time.The Chef are all from China and staff are all amazing.Especially Miss Rainbow, the manager of the restaurant make my experience even better.For sure will introduce to my friends to come.Thank you all.

Dont try booking online, they will send you a message to say its confirmed, but if you dont reply to them, they will cancel your booking. They were not accomodating. Even the email they sent did not require a reply back to confirm.

Terrible and poor quality dimsum, asparagus fried rice was bland and food court standard hot and sour soup but dining service is very good !

Food was exceptional, staff helpful, parking seamless. Highly recommend.

For my personal opinion，i think its better to remove the big cover of terrace tables area for better views and ventilation

This is an hidden gem in Dubai and I highly recommend it. Everything about this restaurant was EXCELLENT. The place was clean and had amazing ambiance. The staff and greeter were very nice. We had an amazing server (his name was Saad, I think), he knew the dishes really well as we had asked for a customization of our dish and he did an excellent job in spicing it up. The other staff at the restaurant also worked as an excellent team in bringing and cleaning up our food. The food was fresh and awesome, definitely ONE OF THE BEST CHINESE FOOD IN DUBAI. Then we also had dessert and that was really (Jasmine Tea Brule and Ma La). Great young atmosphere with really nice people. I am definitely coming back here again.

Loved this place, its a quiet cozy slow jam place, amazing selection of food with great taste. Friendly staff and the manager is super cool ready to assist. Will definitely revisit for the brunch.
