Shakespeare and Co. is a great place to spend an evening with your love ones. They have great coffees and light food with a distinct British tea room interior and the aroma of a French bakery, cosy, homely and welcoming environment, the atmosphere is amazing like the feel of the Victorian era. Which is exactly what it is.A great deal of thought has gone into the décor. Shakespeare and Co are an Emirati chain that is found all over the UAE.They have a huge breakfast menu offering American, English, Lebanese.Coffees and juices are of high quality here but we felt it is bit overpriced. We loved their coffee!

Today morning we went to your Dubai Silicon Oasis outlet for breakfast after some months.My experience was shocking, understanding that this brand has started to let down very old and loyal customers. I have been a frequent visitor for quiet some years but just one bad experience has lost me as a customer to you.It was shocking indeed.The experience goes as under:- No starter bread, butter & Jam was offered. I thought may be the restaurant has changed their policy as everyone else has gone into cost cutting. I asked the staff for it and they said Oh we forgot and it came by the time when we were about to ask for the bill. THIS IS CERTAINLY HILARIOUS.- The Rotten Bread with Fungus: The bread that was served to us was expired and full of fungus. Pics attached!- Flies All Over The Place: There were flies all the time from the point we entered, had our food & paid the bill. We even told the staff to do something to the flies as they looked like pets to the staff. However, the staff brought two candles just 5 minutes before we left and we told them You guys could have kept them around while we were having food and they simply said We are really sorry for this . ARE YOU GUYS FOR REAL OR WHAT?Other Customers: I overheard some other customers complaining for flies and not getting the bread, butter & Jam.I think Shakespeare is losing its identity and in no time loyal customers like me will stop going to any of your outlets as I can get better service, better food with no flies, no fungus bread anywhere else.Thank you & Goodbye SHAKESPEARE FOR GOOD!Time to move on!!

Absolutely love this place. The food is great and so is the ambience. The only reason it’s a 4 star is because of the ‘bug problem’. I’ve always seen house flies around and that can be a bit annoying.They offer emirates platinum discount.

Beautiful cafe. They dont have zomato or entertain app so, when you go there ready to pay full amount. Im giving 4 star bcause of that. Food is good and little expensive side. But delicious for lunch time. Waitresss are very very very good. Interior design diffrent. Nice place to go at least for 2 people 250-300 definitely will spend there.

I am a regular customer of Shakespeare but have been to their DSO branch for the first time. May it be breakfast, lunch or dinner, This place can never go wrong. Lots of variety to choose from also for vegetarians. The staff was very friendly.

Very friendly staff, good food. The breakfast is nice. Environment is calm, relaxed. No play area for kids but theres a park just facing the restaurant. Deserts are really good. If you buy a cake after 9pm you can get a discount of 50%. Entertainer can be used and also they accept beam.

There has to be a Shakespeare in every corner of the world. Their menu is abundant, they food quality and presentation are exemplary and their staff - so friendly and knowledgeable.Shakespeare is an experience on its own.

My go to place in Silicon Oasis. They never run out of good food and great service. Breakfast here is my favorite, the shakshouka and the Benedict are a must. The ambiance and the outdoor seating are just perfect. Do not miss out on their cookies, they are one of its kind and delicious.

Great staff & great food. Notice I mentioned staff first. Not that the food is any less great but any establishment can prepare great food, but not all and provide great service. Keep up the amazing work! Also good for families.

Used to be my favourite place for breakfast but not anymore. We recently went to have breakfast and were not happy with the experience as:1)the food took more than 45 minutes to be served.2) During this long waiting time no bread or jam was served. Both bread and coffee (should comes with/before breakfast) were served after we almost finished our breakfast.I noticed that there were only 2 servers at the time managing both dine in and dine out orders but it is still not an excuse for the bad service we had.Also during our visit I noticed that a couple lashed out and left the place after waiting more than 40 minutes with no food served what so ever.Though the food was good but the slow and bad service and timing really made the experience bad.

What a place to dine. Wonderful ambience. Being a student of literature, I always have been facinated by Victorian architecture and designs. And this place is decorated in a Victorian theme.Talking of food, I am a staunch adherent of Indian and Pakistani food, and spices allure me. So this visit was somewhat of a risk, as I didnt know what to expect.I tried to play safe by ordering two generic dishes, Classic grilled chicken with Mushroom sauce (a delight and my next favorite from this place) and the BBQ pizza (average in taste, to be honest).We ended our dinner with some Cheese cake and a Frasier. The cheesecake was very much below par if you took the one served at The Cheesecake Factory as a standard. The Frasier was somewhat worth the bucks spent.The staff were very courteous and dressed to the theme.The prices are on the expensive side, so it always makes sense to have some vouchers or coupons to redeem at the place.

The Filipino manager Kevin is efficient and attention to details in his service..Ive been visiting tis outlet for a few years and all their servers are Amazing too..Food as always super yummy and the place is super cosy❤️

The food was delicious and the service was friendly. The price is acceptable.

The overall dining experience was Mind blowing. We sat outdoor and ordered the fish and chips, Turkey and ham manakish, with chocolate ice cream, strawberry lemonade. The quantity seem to be small but it was very filling as the fish and chips had come with fries, salad and sauces. The turkey and ham manakish was amazing. The strawberry lemonade was refreshing. Overall the food experience was lit. The restaurant ambience was superb it looked like a doll house. I must it worth trying this as a cafe or restaurant. they also gave a complimentary bread basket and the butter which came with it was amazing. I never tried any butter like that. highly recommended 🙋‍♂️

Very tasty juicy burgers, I tried the Truffle burger. Tortilla wraps could be better. The space indoors is a bit tight and staff can be more friendly.

One of the few restaurants I would give 5 stars. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I was not sure if I would like a juice and the waiter let me taste it (small cup and did not have to pay). Food is supergood, specially breakfast. Nice environment

If you are looking for American breakfast or you are diet conscious, I think shakespeare n co will not be bad choice, they have variety in breakfast, I liked the most was America breakfast. Staff was pleasant, only bad thing was having flies, which was quite disappointing. Coffee latte which they serve I would suggest it should be little hot, as they normally serve is like you drink it, instead of sipping it. Overall food quality and experience was good

Lovely food with great staff.Only problem I had today at breakfast is that I went to use my HSBC voucher and I was told I couldn’t use it for the larger selected breakfast ( I.e the breakfast with the tea/coffee/juice included)Apparently this has been a rule for over 2 years..... it definitely HAS NOT been a rule, I’ve been using the voucher well before COVID-19 and apparently it’s states quite clearly on the menu you can’t use the voucher for these selected menus.IT DOESNT!!I spoke to the manager called Ken who was also our waiter and he was the one who told us the rule.I would love for someone to explain to me why this rule is in place when it doesn’t state it anywhere.I’ve been coming to Shakespeare for a few years now and I have ALWAYS used the voucher.I suspect it something to do with the price.Normal breakfast is around 45-50 dhs.... and special breakfast is 69dhs.Think this is very unfair.I honestly would have spent more money there today if they hadn’t got this silly rule in place.

Had the corn flakes french toast. Was good but thought it wasnt soaked enough in the egg batter to be authentic french toast. Hubby had the seafood spaghetti. The cuttlefish was nice and soft. The shrimp was perfect al la dante

The morning breeze and the outside sitting arrangement makes it perfect for a breakfast with done of free sunlight.Wifi connection is very poor. I wish i maintained their IT. I would have got wifi resolved in under a day :)

Ordered a brownie and this is how they sent it.No proper packing of any sort( not even packed in a small box). No branding of shakespeare and looks like someone was playing a prank. No concern for hygiene during covid!To top it all, it was stone cold. If I wanted to have such a brownie, I better could have taken it from a nearby fuel station or some weird cafe having pest infestation.If shakespeare management is reading, I am really concerned on the way you handle a small order.Its a joke. Never going to order from them ever.

Good food. Can find pretty much anything to eat there, for everyones taste I think.

The food and ambience was great as usual. The service and hygiene were compromised a little. There were too many flies inside of the restaurant, my order missed some specifications, no follow-up after the order and I had to call out to the waitress a little loudly to get her attention after waiting patiently for 15 minutes. Definitely liked the Al Majaz Shakespeare a lot better than this one.

Top notch. Good prices. Best avocado meals except at times the avocadoes are unripe and the guacamole then tastes bitter. Better to ask for soft sliced avocado on the side.

The service at the restaurant is good along with the full menu at any Shakespeare outlet. Staff is friendly and food is great quality as always. However it wish they were able to do something about the flies in the restaurant as they are pretty annoying.
