F this company!!Theyre a scam. 1st, my credit card wouldnt work so they had to use my debit card. Credit card is a $400 hold and Debit card is an $800 hold!!Yes, its in the agreement for a 40 day, but service rep said it would be a 3-5 day hold. 40 days to get the money back!! Then there is going to be a 2% charge on top of that to GET MY OWN MONEY BACK!!Then I received a parking ticket on the car. Inquiring further about the ticket and the location was just met with well, its already been paid by the company so youve got to pay us.Where I parked, I was told parking was free on Friday and Saturday, but I figured maybe it was just bad luck on my part. However, after reading other reviews it seems like some kind of scam they might have going where they just say youve got a parking ticket and you need to pay us.. I cant confirm it and its not right for me to accuse them of it fully, but its something I suspect based on my experience and other reviews.Go elsewhere! Its too much headache and too much hidden cost.

I previously rented a car with Budget from Marina Dubai and had a very very bad experience with them - their staffs at the counter were very rude and the whole price structure is not transparent and includes many hidden fees.Hence, I feel I must write this review because my experience with Thrifty car rental in Burjuman Center was very pleasant and transparent. Edith at the counter was very polite and to-the-point. The whole process with Thrifty at burjuman was just sooo honest, pleasant and quick. Also, my deposits were released so much quicker than BUDGET.One more thing, I had asked for another car because the one I had initially taken had some minor issues and they accepted my request without hesitation!!! I mean, Edith was soo understanding. Thankyou for this.I had booked my car for a month initially but extended it for another 2 months. Edith was very understanding throughout. The African guy I believe from Uganda was such a gentle soul - talking to him just brightened my day. I highly recommend this branch.

I just rented a car on June 2nd but I had to return it the following day because of the loud noise that is not normal for a 2020 year model. I called and they said they are gonna replace which they did. I don’t leave far from their office so i didn’t really notice the loudness of the sound of the engine until I drove it to sheikh zayed rd. The more you accelerate and press the pedal the louder it gets. So, I decided to take it back and get a replacement. I know it’s not the staff’s fault but I don’t feel safe driving it. The 2nd unpleasant experienced I had was when I received a parking fine from the 2nd day of my rental date then it goes on and on. Again, I received 2 parking fines ticket on the same day of June 5th, which I don’t understand because I made sure I pay my parking ticket in time. I went to their office and showed them all my parking receipts and explained to them that there is no way I get 3parking tickets in a matter of 4 or 5days renting a car. The first ticket was an honest mistake because I entered the wrong parking code. Be mindful that I rented a car from their office for almost a month but I ended up returning it earlier from the date that I supposed to return it and I ended up loosing all my money for nothing. I’d rather not take the risk of receiving the parking tickets. Everytime I check my parking violations through RTA, I did not seem to find it at all, and the thrifty office staff will just tell me that they already pay it through the deposit I made which is 1,500 aed that’s why I can’t see it no more. I feel like getting rip off. I requested a detail information of my parking violations but they will just send it to me via email using their company letter head. I once talked to the CSR online and spoke with the guy Bridjesh but he is not helpful at all. I feel like we are communicating in a two different language, but it was a very simple english questions. He was kinda Irritated because of the fact I had to change my car 3times. It was very frustrating because me and my son didn’t really get to enjoy the vacation we wanted to and instead we ended up getting a taxi cab or metro train to get to where we wanted to go. Also, just to add note on my parking violations for the 3tickets which cost me 165.00 aed every single time. I noticed it’s the same person over and over again that issued the violations. They told me they can’t do anything about it. It’s just kinda vague with all those parking citations I received because there was not a really a clear explanation on how and where did I incurred the tickets. This might be a long reviews but I don’t normally do this bc I feel like it is waste of my time. But I thought this might help future renter. I rented toyota corolla 2020, they replaced it with toyota hatchback and then back to corolla but they all have the same problem (Very uncomfortable loud noise/ sounds like engine problem.) I’ve driven and old car before but I can tell the difference if there is something wrong with the car I am driving.

This was my first car rental ever, sometime in March 2021. Before putting thorugh any booking online, I went their office in person and Ive got absolutely clear and professional information about the policies. When the day of the car pick up came, they went the extra mile to change the model as per my last minute modification. There were no issues at all, I would definitely rent from them again.Thank you so much, Kathleen, Maricon and Anil!

Situated on GF near metro exit. Very friendly staff especially Hannah. Well organized. Would again hire a car here.

The location is inside the mall and close to were you collect the car itself. Very easy to prepay online.
