A very cosy beautiful restaurant. If you love coffee try the qahwa which they serve with dates. Too good. The pasta is very delish and i love their signature vinegar which they also sell. The pistachio dessert is a must try!

I looooovve this place. This might actually be my favourite breakfast place in Dubai. The French toast is to die for!!! Everything just tastes yummy. The staff is very friendly. And you can also order in as well. I have made up my mind to visit all their locations.

I grab my coffee everyday here and coffee quality is excellent (Not the case for other Bateel locations). Pastries are very good too. Staff is friendly and efficient. Well managed place. Deserves 5 stars.

Good option for a relaxed breakfast. Very nice baguette and sweets. Amtgey also have a nice selection of arab breakfast and amazind dates.

Upscale, delicious stuff, beautiful location. Premium price to be expected. Cant comment on the coffee but the bakery and confectionery items are very good.

Just had an iftar with my wife at Bateel JBR. A complete waste of time and money. Service was very slow while the place was far from being crowded. But the worse was the food with overcooked (probably not very fresh) salmon and a meat ball dish that was serves cold. Frankly that was so disappointing and ended up at a pharmacy to buy gaviscon to treat our heartburn....

If its possible I would have given 0 star because when I went to jbr cafe bateel and when I stood outside to wait for the table outside where I wanted to sit and when the manager sinead saw me waiting she told a supervisor next to her who had a name tag as fatima and they started talking about me and said.what do black people have to offer So you mean bateel doesnt want black people.?

I ordered a takeaway sandwich from cafe bateel in JBR and despite a 40 minute wait and flagging to several staff to enquire as to why it was taking so long they all looked disinterested and did nothing about it. After 40 minutes I asked John for a refund and he ignored me and said he would follow up on the sandwich, to which I said please cancel my order and give mea refund (as I had to leave). He was rude and refused to process the refund. At this stage Bojan the manager got involved and said he would Check on the status of the sandwich - I said I don’t want that I would prefer a refund and again I was ignored. He left and I asked another girl to just process the refund and she started the process it and Bojan came back and finally gave me a refund. Terribly run cafe with zero communication / customer service or service recovery ability. The staff look like they don’t even care as if this happens on a frequent basis.The priority in the kitchen seemed to be preparing food for delivery.

Generally speaking, I love Bateel Cafe. Its a pleasant experience every single time. Coffee is nice, dates provided are good plus great service.

The menu combines Mediterranean cuisine and a rich tradition of Arabian hospitality, resulting a tempting selection of delicious, wholesome food and beverages served in a warm and sophisticated atmosphere.

Nice breakfast, the service was excellent and we enjoyed a lovely morning i the outside terrace

The restaurent is a bit over priced. The service was so slow although the place was not crowded at all. A spoon to be replaced took 20min!! The bill had to be requested twice and also took 10 min to arrive. The waiter only recommend the most expensive two plates which was funny!The food was tasty I can’t deny that but the price and the service can be better than what it is now.

Some breakfast dishes are good. But their signature breakfast is the most lousy Ive had anywhere in the vicinity !!Just compare the breakfast @ Cafe Roma next door with Bateels breakfast & you will know. Not fulfilling in the least.

A very pleasent cafe restaurant with great brekfast options and excellent dates & olive oil.

The usual great menu from Cafe Bateel. The only reason for marking it down from 5 to 4 stars is that they only have limited seating outside, and the air conditioning inside is freezing.... so either come early, or bring an extra layer of clothing if you have to sit inside!

Pastries, breads, desserts and drinks are very tasty with their own Bateel twist. They just couldnt get poached eggs right at breakfast unfortunately

While their Belgian waffles has always been my favorite, I don’t particularly like this branch at all. We went there for breakfast on two Fridays and each time, they served us cold Belgian Waffles. While the manager was apologetic and tried to compensate by offering us a free dessert, it’s a bit disappointing that for a well-known restaurant chain, their food quality is not consistent (or perhaps consistently bad). I might consider going back again, but not to this branch.

A little overpriced as compared to the portion size of the food .. maybe it was a Friday when I went so the food took a good 35 to 40 min to come.. a little overwhelmed is what the staff was in general with the food orders and the service wasnt smooth at all .though the staff was very courteous but I guess in general overwhelmed..

Wonderful breakfast spot in the marina. We had an egg white omelette and avocado smoothie , and a Lebanese egg dish. Everything was very good.

The food was fantastic. The service was not. Sparkling water served with black bits in glass. Taken away but no replacement of drink until asked. A choice of childs set menu when asked to amend was all too much making the experience overcomplicated. Resolution to buy 2 meals to appease my child. 2 tables put together. 4 place settings for 5 people. Kept having to ask for additional cutlery etc. Lots of staff. None actually great at thinking. No-one asked how our meals were. Just a shame. The standard of food was excellent. The cleanliness, wonderful. The customer service not great.

Nice and quiet cafe in the bustling JBR. Free parking available for customers, and the restaurant is nicely decorated. Only went in to get dates from the shop.

Always good. One of the few places which started with a high benchmark and has never dropped in quality. Best bread in town.
