Really nice service and great variety of products - both books and toys for the kids are available. We got in love with one of their many medium sized dolls with accessories . One of the biggest bookstores chains in UAE, it has so many different types and categories of books.Also the place has wide varieties of toys and souvenirs, the pave is really big, takes hours to have a deep look at the store.Each of their stores has a coffee shop which makes it a fantastic place to sit and read or for students to have a group study.

There is a good collection here and well organised. Was able to get the books my kids wanted. Roald Dahl and some baby books were on sale. Its located on the 2nd floor.

It has several brunches in Dubai, and the branch which I went was in the Mall of the Emirates, 1st floor. Large variety of kids books, starting from early ages to young adult readers. You can find Startbucks coffee shop inside where you can sit drink coffee and read a book.

A little of everything. Went during Christmas shopping expecting some shocking negative customer service, but every staff I met was a delight and well versed with the store products and locations which made the time spent shorted and more effective. They were well stocked for the season and I guess the prices are what youd expect in a mall in Dubai.

This store has good collection of books compared to some other Borders stores. I love their collection of wide range of kids books. Sometimes they have good deals on puzzles but don’t expect the best price on many books. If you are not in a rush, I would advise you to compare the store prices on Amazon and you may be surprised. There is starbucks inside but most of the time chairs are not kept clean. Some times staff were friendly n helped us but most often, they dont care to listen or help the customers.

Its a huge place!!! They have a great selection of stanitonary, painting products as well as school items. When kids explore by themselves, mummies can enjoy the coffee at the Starbucks inside the Borders.

Its my favourite place to visit inside the Mall of Emirates. Whenever I go MOE I dont miss to visit Borders to review the books. The Starbucks within the Borders is a perfect set up for the readers.

Went to borders mall of emirates to get a book and after browsing without seeing what I was looking for, I went to the sales assistant and told her ‘ excuse me’ without even listening to me, without consideration but with a lot of disdain, she turn her back and left and after waiting infront of an empty desk for 5 minutes, I had to leave the shop. It was bad 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

A good book store with variety of items to choose from. Well located near the parking. A little overpriced but the range of products are really good. They have everything from books to stationary to toys. They have a place to sit and read. The only issue are very less pay counters so it will take time to finish your transaction.

My favorite bookstore in the city, you can pick a book, have your coffee in Starbucks and enjoy hours of reading inside the store. They usually have everything I ask for, and if not they are willing to help me find it or order it. Great place for any bookworm!

A lovely destination for the whole family as we, my wife and I, enjoy our time there looking through different books and my little daughter enjoys her time reading and playing around. It helps to have starbucks cafe there too to enjoy a cup of coffee while reading too.

Bought my sister a particularly expensive 2020 daily planner from Moleskin at Borders MOE for Christmas. She went back to exchange for a different colour, with no receipt as I had not been informed that she would need it. The reception from the staff was appalling - rude, curt and incredibly unhelpful. After asking who else she could talk with that would help, the attendant replied that he was the one to speak to. He also insisted all customers should know about the receipt - if I had been informed I would have given it to her!Completely shocked at the standard of customer service. Looking through the reviews, it appears I shouldn’t be surprised.

One of our favourite stores to visit! Great selection of toys and gifts, stationery and of course books of many kinds. We can easily spend an hour here. Their book offers are great to check out esp for kids books. They have seats in a few places so you can have a rest and read when you feel like it and they have Starbucks at the back when youd like to grab a drink and bite too. Helpful staff.

I had been looking for a particular type of weekly planner for a while and had checked online and with most other bookstores in Dubai, to no avail. I decided to ring up the Borders MoE branch, and was met with a very helpful lady on the phone who immediately knew what I was looking for and offered to WhatsApp me photos of the various colour options etc, answered a few extra questions I had and finalised an order for me on the spot over text. It’s being delivered to me at no extra charge (free delivery for orders over 100dhs) in the next couple of days. Being offered such fantastic and efficient customer service during lockdown/quarantine was such a pleasant experience! I first fell in love with Borders at their old location on the other side of MoE back in 2008 when I first moved to Dubai, and am glad to see they’re still providing great service and reliability 👍🏼 would recommend their WhatsApp ordering/delivery service in a heartbeat. Thank you guys 😊

I also bought an expensive Moleskine business diary for almost $50. It came in a sealed pack so I was not able to look inside it. When I took it home, opened it and prepared it to use. When I opened the schedule to plan my week, I noticed the business week is Monday to Friday which is useless as I live and work in the UAE. When I tried to return it the store manager would not accept it because I had written my name in the front cover. Even though I wrote my name, I was very unhappy because there was absolutely nothing on the cover of the diary indicating the fact that it was a Monday to Friday working week. The store manager refused to accept any responsibility, telling me I should have checked with the assistant before I bought it... Can you believe it!!!

Borders Bookstore at the Mall of the Emirates is a large store catering to all your requirements of books and related matters. Stationery, writing material, reading material etc etc. Move around at leisure and pick up what you need. Overall a very rewarding experience.

Borders place is the worth customer service ever. They don’t know how to deal with their customers, they refused to change my daughter ugly gift mentioned that she has to play with her gift! And what about the policy? The lady told me you can make a complain but no change even I asked them to scan the code they refused to move their legs and go scanned it to get the receipt! This is the first time in my life to be angry, I cannot believe that they treat their clients this way! I told them I might choose another toy that will suit my daughter age and could be more expensive but they way of the customer service manager even is soooooooooooo disappointing and made me very angry! She was like No No and if u don’t like it make a complaint! I cannot believe we are in Dubai! Is this the way you deal with your clients! A big shops and corporate companies ( knows how to make their customers happy) it was very easy to take the toy scan it and get the receipt and make my daughter happy and can exchange it! Very bad customer service and I don’t recommend anyone to deal or buy anything from their cause if you find anything wrong you will lose your rights as a customer!

Awful customer service ever!! Forcing a shopper to exchange an item for any other promotional items because of a system restrictions. Seriously?! used to like the experience and variety of merchandise they have but a proper retail system in place is essential!!

Great if you want to get a few novels to past time away or making that tedious flight go fast. Good selection in the 3for2 section and generally a reasonable amount of choice for the serious reading.

I had a great time choosing books. Staff were almost falling over to be helpful to get me to buy this book and that. Problem was getting a bar code for a childs toy that took 25 minutes wait and six members of staff. The ladies at the till were non challant and lacked the initiative.

They have huge selection of books, i just learned though that hardbound books are considered old stocks here, so if youre looking for a hardbound version of your favorite novel, most likely its in paperback already

I have purchased a gift for my daughters birthday at IBB store and made sure that an exchange would be possible in case it was the wrong gift. Unfortunately my daughter received a similar gift and therefore decided to return the unwanted toy which was still in its original box to the MOE store. I was told that refund were not possible and despite me explaining to the store manager that it was unfair to tell me that after I have purchased while someone from another store told me exactly the opposite....Feeling so annoyed to be to told in front of other customers that it was not possible that the staff would have told me such thing, I was treated like a liar. Anyhow, after so many discussions, I left the store without my refund and without the toy as I was extremely disappointed....Unfortunately, we still have some retailers here who dont know how to treat and respect customers.
