We have been to this restaurant twice. First time was just for drinks and the second we decided to try out the food. The price of the drinks is the most reasonable in the area. The food was good. We had the Saturday roast and Shepherds pie.

Well it certainly is hidden! Took the family 25minutes to find the location. There is zero signage and lots of building work going on, so if you’re new to the area like us, get there early!First off, I have to say, the staff were incredibly nice and attentive to us and the kids. I’d say that was as far as it goes though.I’m not quite sure what the Hidden Hog is trying to launch itself as. I felt like we were eating our (not even average) breakfast in a function room, the morning after a wedding. It was as though the Great Gatsby set had visited the night before and then up and left everything but the decor. If it’s a fine dining restaurant, then that’s fine, be that. I wasn’t really feeling a breakfast/lunch vibe from the place and certainly wouldn’t pay normal price of AED 70+ for a full English breakfast there.I certainly wouldn’t go back (for breakfast anyway). So Hidden Hog. I think you’ve missed the mark there.

Great place for breakfast in the DIFC. The Full English is recommended. There is also an excellent 2 Course Business Lunch for 79 AED.

Hidden Hog should quite frankly remain hidden. It isnt that easy to find with all the work going on in their building in DIFC and the restobar isnt doing itself any favours with its customer service.I went there for breakfast on a Friday and ordered the (as advertised) Full English Breakfast which includes pork sausages and bacon for Dh 35 including a coffee. What I got on the plate was no where close to the advertised photo which I can understand is done in a studio with post production etc. However receiving only 1 egg when it should be two, no fried tomato (when 1 other diner on my table got it) and 2 hash browns when the others on the table got only 1 had me wondering. The consistency was surprisingly amateurish. The coffee was the only good thing about it.To top it off the manager very casually mentioned they used a stock photo for advertisement and when asked about the odd number of items on each plate, had no reply and just slowly backed away from the table. It was super awkward. There was no apology or even attempt at trying to fix things.Im not sure if this was opening jitters, something I was wearing or straight up cluelessness, Im not going back to this hidden place for sure.

I’ve visited Hidden Hog twice and I enjoyed the food both times. English breakfast was just outstanding and it was a great value for money. I also had a chance to visit for dinner and I have to admit, the variety of options they offer is amazing! Every dish I tried was delicious. The place itself has a nice, chilled atmosphere and the staff are lovely. It is worth recommending and I definitely will be coming back!

A much anticipated visit to the restaurant which had been fully booked recently. The English Breakfast was great quality and value but really let down by the service. The booth seating was dirty, there was no flexibility to replace items on the breakfast dish, a coffee order was confused and delayed and so was the bill... somehow the staff managed to be bickering between themselves despite there being only 3 tables in the restaurant and 4 members of staff. So, despite the food, a disappointment.

Visited this place twice! Very nice one, especially music and vibe. Delish food and drinks. Not a vegetarian spot. Will back again for sure.

Our visit today was a pleasure.I had a craving for a full English and it was everything it should be. My wife had the pork ribs and a salad and had to ask for a doggy bag.Whatever teething troubles other reveiwers have mentioned were not in evidence today.Claudio and his team did a fantastic job.Yes the building lobby is being renovated but that is not the fault of the Hidden Hog.Highly recommended.

We went to have breakfast there but we didn’t know that they serve pork in the breakfast in sausages and ham. Not an ideal place for Muslim. But the manager was so kind to prepare eggs and mashrooms for us quickly. The ambiance was very good. A good place for meetings.

Im in shock how the staff treated me yesterday, especially the blond receptionist, very unprofessional, shouting on me and covering the voice of the manager that was already trying to find a solution for me, because I just wanted a sit to watch the match.I hope for everyone to do not meet this bad Hostess, receptionist. Thanks to the kind manager, he made my night.

In my 7 years in Dubai the one thing I truly miss from back home is pork! Veal bacon, turkey bacon and what not just doesnt cut it so this place came like a life savior! English breakfast is huge, comes with black pudding, bacon, pork sausages, hash browns, eggs... Just a lot of good stuff for a good price. 1 Done dinner as well and for a little foodgasm I recommend the pork belly or the pork ribs. Delicious! Bit less casual than the brekkie service but still a relaxed vibe.

I went to the Hidden Hog for English Breakfast because I heard that it’s amazing and they serve pork bacon. I was super happy with the quality of the food! The portions are huge and the sausages are just delicious! I highly recommend!❤️

Went for the English breakfast offer. What they served was nothing like in the picture. Items served were inconsistent(Taste and quantity). When highlighted, staffs response was very cold. One waiter couldnt understand the difference bw one and two-sided fried eggs. Do save ur weekend breakfasts for a better restaurant. This club-converted restaurant should definitely remain hidden. Not worth the time and money.

Went there lastnight with friends. I give the presentation and taste of food 5 stars, it was very good! The amount of food for the price was not a good deal. The lighting in the restaurant was more for a romantic mood but that was not the atmosphere in the place. If I want to sit in the dark and not see what I am eating I would stay home and turn the lights off. Hopefully they can make the changes needed in the future and have a successful business.

I had an amazing experience, the food is amazing and every dish is superb. Also the drinks are good but the highlight of the dinner was the pizza. Omg so good! The interiors could maybe be improved but actually the food take the scene and is a good reason to come back again and again.

Yes, a good 5 star. Went for breakfast with friends and boy were we satisfied. 7 people, 1 table, all with smiles and not evena single complaint, no reason to. One of us being gluten and dairy intolerant had good subs and was well pleased. A good time. Thanks to the well organised team.

Went for breakfast, dated decor (converted sports bar) and poorly presented food. The portion was small, one sausage, one egg, one slice of toast. Black pudding not properly cooked. Genuinely awful waste of an opportunity to bring a breakfast spot to DIFC.

Came on the opening day and although the food was lovely there were a few teething issues, returned the week after and lovely to see how much they had taken on board comments and rectified and small issues. Full English breakfast was lovely.

Very nice. Location a bit hidden ( pun not intended :))... you may also want to know that they serve pork mostly. You have to explicitly mention halal if you dont eat pork.
