Hello friends, recently we been to this restaurant. This restaurant is specially designed menu as per Karnataka style. Here we ate special Karnataka style cooking. We really enjoyed. Highly recommended to all the kannadigarige. They are specialized in cooking Ragi mudde, masala majjige, Donne Biriyani, Qeema gojju and Gobi dry fry list goes on. Please do try. Its really spicy and delicious too. We love the taste here. So glad to see the kannada faces here, staff is purely speaks kannada. very warm welcoming. So glad to post the comments for you to visit there. There was some wall photos was gives us the feeling that we had dinner at Bangalore. Inside place was bit conjusted however good for everyone to visit.

Serving authentic Andhra and Karnataka cuisine, this place also has a massive variety of Dosa and Uttapams on their menu and even a fair amount of desi chinese options.I tried out a plethora of dishes and was awestruck with the delicious taste and presentation of each one. A must try is their Chicken Mudde Meals, a massive thali which features 6 different chicken dishes, assorted veggies and is served with Ragi Mudde, roti, rice and warm Obbattu (Puran Poli).They have a large outdoor seating facility and a basic indoor dining facility with ample rta parking outside. We started off with fresh Watermelon, Orange and Mango Juices. The watermelon was refreshing though for the mango, a riper one could have been used.Starters were Banshankeri Chicken Dry, a typical Bangalorean dish, Mutton Rara Ghost and Cheesy Mushroom. All these had different interesting flavours and what stood out for me was the Banshankeri Chicken. These were beautifully presented too.For mains, we tried Mutton Donne Biryani and Grand Swathis Special Boneless Chicken Biryani. I must say Im not specially fond of mutton but I absolutely loved the mutton donne biryani. The rice was so flavourful and the meat was tender, Im definitely going back for this. The chicken biryani was the usual type.We also tried Mushroom Dosa and Keema Dosa from their Dosa Menu. The mushroom dosa is an absolute musttry!! Looks ordinary but tasted amazing. And it was really spicy:) A small tip, try the pineapple slice after having the dosa as itll cool you down:) The Keema dosa was presented beautifully and temptingly with a dollop of butter on each slice. Taste was realy good, though the seasoning could be taken down a notch. Ended the night with some piping hot black tea with lemon.Overall, it was a wonderful experience for me as I got to taste some Bangalorean and Andhra food at reasonable rates. I cant wait to go there again to try their thalis next.

Authentic Donne Biryani is available at Swathi Grand Restaurant. There are various options for non vegetarian. Yummy food is served. Staff is good. And Hygiene is maintained at the restaurant.

For authentic karnataka and Andhra style food better to choose Grand Swathi restaurant which is located in karma Dubai. It was our first visit to the restaurant and the staff who welcomed us was a native mangalorean. We started from mutton paya soup, chicken dry kebab. As a main course we ordered Rotti, Butter chicken and Naan. Pakka karnataka style and the taste was mouth watering. All the dishes were awesome. And there are all varieties of karnataka style foods they serve. Good ambiance and safety was highly maintained. Acrylic board was kept as a safety precaution in each dine areas. Have enough place for dine in and a great place to site in open area with good atmosphere. The restaurant has won commendations for its friendly, welcoming atmosphere.I suggest and highly recommend you to do visit there. Definitely you will feel the food.

Go for the food !!!We landed at this restaurant last evening after my friends colleagues recommended about the place and kept praising for the food..We ordered some Prawns fry, King fish fry, Daal rice, Masala dosa & Veg thali for a group of 8... All of it tasted well and we enjoyed it every bite...Restaurant is located in a residential area and so very calm around, this has a beautiful garden outside which gives a pleasant experience for outdoor eaters.A big thanks to the owner as he bought a cake to celebrate my friends birthday, such a lovely gesture.Not to forget the staff were quite friendly and guided us well with what to order..Thank you !!! The worst experience ( Al nahda Sharjah) .The quality of the food is very poor and hectic delay with the delivery.I wont recommend this to anyone from my experience.....Very very bad . I ordered masala dosa and get with half cooked one with 45 min of delay .I am residing next to their building....Very disappointed..

If you are a kannadiga & you want to eat authentic karnataka food, this is the plae to be. Gaudru Baad Oota is to die for. Holiges are ultimate. Masala Puri is the best in the whole UAE. Just that some of the waiters need to be a little polite with the customers. Other than that this is a heaven for kannadigas

Delicious indian karnataka style food. If you are fond of karnatakan food especially non veg then you must visit and enjoy the super tasty variety for lunch or dinner. They have limited table space inside so plan well to get the table or they do home delivery too. Quantity is very good so ask the waiter before you order multiple dishes. Holige was super delicious must to have with payasa(kheer sweet). Raggi muddhe too a dish to have with mutton curry. Enjoy with friends or family.

Good place for Non-Vegetarians! Vegetarian food taste is average! We took Andhra Meals and it was nowhere near to the Traditional Andhra meals!! Expensive! The guy who served us food was not friendly and was behaving as though serving under duress!

Coz it’s only day I get in a week to rest from my Job, here in Dubai.However, last Friday, I had mixed feelings as I made my way to one of my favourite restaurants, GRAND SWATHI, Al Karama, Dubai.As we entered the location and took our seats, The server, clad in a mask and gloves, handed us menus. He asked if we wanted disposable cups and plates for our food which we accepted, assuming this was the most sanitary option. And we ordered for DONNE BIRIYANI.Donne biryani is one of the favourites NAATI style BIRIYANI in Bengaluru, Karanataka. It exactly tested same like in my native. Finally after 4 years staying away from my State, I am able to get that authentic foods.This restaurant is new in the city. But, Thanks for treating us more than we expected!!IT WAS WORTH STEPPING OUT ON WEEKEND 😇

Doesnt matter how good the taste is but when they cant deliver in time you loose all your interest in food.I have never seen such delay in delivery in any restaurants in Dubai. You have to wait min for 1:45 min and you could probably cook in that time.Definitely not recommend for home delivery. I dont really like to give bad reviews but I guess this review would help people.

I went all the way from Dso to get some good food as claimed. It was take away. The guy at the counter wasnt friendly and when I tasted the food n looked at the content, it was a waste of time n energy. Nothing but bones and the taste wasnt good.

I ordered food for evening birthday party of my husband for just family people since I loved their food but this time they disappointed me. Ordered afternoon asking for delivery at 6:45pm but after that also delivery came around 7:15pm. My daughter had to sleep without the celebration food. Also, the order was incomplete and when called informing around the same time of delivery, they promised they will deliver in 10mins..... Its been more than 2 hours and Im still waiting for the 10 mins to complete.... Good Food but you need sorry to say... Bad Customer experience (which is most important to being sustainable)
