The food at Copper Chimney is outstanding. To begin with their Kebab sizzlers are a delightful sight and extremely delicious. Starters are real treat as well. The vegetable curry like Bhindi with gravy served with warm bread is an absolute winner. Highly recommended!!

Copper Chimney happens to be one of my favorite places to dine since my childhood days. I have very fond memories of visiting this restaurant when it used to be in Bur Dubai earlier, however now it is nestled away in the Millennium Plaza Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road.Copper Chimney was originally founded by Bollywood filmmaker J K Kapur in Bombay in 1972 to highlight and celebrate the amazing local recipes and techniques of the slow-cooked dishes found across North India, from Peshawar to Delhi and was endorsed many a times by our beloved late Dilip Kumar Ji.At Copper Chimney you can choose from a variety of mouth-watering kebabs, curries, breads and desserts, all of which are prepared in-house, from-scratch and made to order during every service. All meats are cooked in custom-made tandoors, which you can observe from the restaurant’s open kitchen as you enjoy your meal .What did I relish there?💠Almond Chicken Soup💠Amritsari Shrimp Grills💠Bhatti Chicken Tikka💠Butter Chicken💠Bread Basket💠Mutton Biryani💠Patiala Kulfi💠Mango LassiIf their names havent got you salivating already, let me tell you their food is absolutely divine.. Its a perfect blend of traditional Masalas and techniques served in the most sophisticated fashion. Honestly when your food is that awesome you really dont need to worry trying any presentation gimmicks.I cannot fail to mention about their generous portions and their bread basket which had probably all the varieties of Indian Breads.

I have to ask for & he gave us bottle without glass .Overall experience was ok .Can’t think of visiting again

Being an 80s kid & having grown up in the city of Bollywood we always wondered where the glamorous people hung out ! Grapevine had it, there was one such popular hang out for all the stars because of its warm, cozy ambience & exquisite food !Well that many years later nostalgia was at its best when I entered @copperchimney.uae & saw all the pictures of the biggest stars on the walls, the same warm, cozy ambience and the most beautiful & exquisite food.I now remember this restaurant was the talk of the town for the way they cooked their delicious recipes that transcended one generation to the next and why all the famous people were always here, they do make a statement even today !From their soft tender tandoori meats and succulent sea food to the soft melt in the mouth paneer dishes, some wonderful indo-fusion dishes. From the presentation, to the irresistible aroma & the glorious taste. They checked all the boxes for me.Truly bringing Indian food on the global map by redefining Indian cuisine, one sizzling dish after the other ! The restaurant is a bright space on SZR decked out with photos of prominent personalities including the late Dilip Kumar ji, who have visited different branches of it! There’s a nice view of the chefs preparing rotis, naans and more from scratch and it’s quite a treat to watch. We feasted on delicious fare such as Tandoori chicken salad, Delhi style fried chicken, Reshmi malai chicken, butter chicken with assorted bread, mutton biryani and ended with freshly made Patiala Kulfi.Being a Delhiite myself, I was quite pleased with the no drama and frills dishes on offer that looked great and tasted even better. I visited Copper Chimney Restaurant at Millennium Plaza Hotel this week which overlooks the beautiful Sheikh Zayed Rd.This place is literally a legacy of over 45 years. At the entrance of the hotel you will find the pictures of the legendary actor Late Dilip Kumar with the founder Mr J.K Kapur. The best part of Copper Chimney is the open kitchen and the beautiful vibes it gives showing the antique pieces of the Indian Culture around the restaurant along with the touch of modern art. From serving biryani in a traditional claypot to authentic bhatti style taste of meat, this place has my heart now.Heres what we ordered at Copper Chimney:,🔸️Almond Chicken Soup🔸️Reshmi Malai Chicken🔸️Bhatti Chicken Tikka🔸️Butter Chicken🔸️Bread Basket🔸️Mutton Biryani🔸️Patiala Kulfi🔸️Raasleela Mojito🔸️Mango LassiThe soup was so flavourful while the starters made me so happy because of their taste. The Reshmi Malai Chicken just melted in the mouth while the Bhatti Chicken Tikka reminded me of those kebabs served at weddings. The Mutton Biryani was mildly spiced with fragrant rice and masala which satisfied my biryani cravings. The butter chicken with a selection of Indian breads gave different delicious flavors in every bite. The bread basket was a selection of Butter Naan, Garlic Naan, Lacchha paratha, Roomali Roti, Tandoori Roti, Kalaunji Naan...Finally the sweet ending of the delicious kulfi was awesome 👌. This had the authentic taste beautifully cut into cubes and I devoured every bite of it.The drinks were very refreshing and I loved them a lot.Indeed it was an unforgettable experience at Copper Chimney.Visit:📌GROUND FLOOR, MILLENNIUM PLAZA HOTEL, SHEIKH ZAYED ROAD, BEHIND EMIRATES TOWER METRO STATION, [email protected] @copperchimneydxb @millenniumplazahoteldubai #copperchimney #copperchimneydubai #indianrestaurant #dilipkumar #authenticindianfood #bhattikamurg #bhattikabab #reshmichicken #malaichicken #breadbasket #raasleela #mangolassi #patiala #kulfi #dubairestaurant #dubaifinedining

An Award-Winning Indian Restaurant which is located at Millennium Plaza Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road. Copper Chimney is a group restaurant based in India that started in Mumbai in 1972 but is now a veritable restaurant empire. They are also a large wedding caterer in India. This place is a great modern Indian Restaurant on many levels. This place has a very pretty interior. The lighting design and placement will definitely catch your attention we loved the décor is quite smart. The Seating arrangement is super comfortable. They have lot of different tables depending on the group size. There is an open kitchen, where you can see the chefs working and occasionally making rumali roti, which involves twirling the dough in the air before cooking it briefly on a steel hemisphere.Let me start with the service, it was very quick Special thanks to Mr. Sachin he was very kind & generous. The recommendations given by him were very good. There was hardly any waiting time. Their menu is extensive and prices are quite moderateAt an initial meal we started with Herbed tomato soup it was very rich in flavoured with herbs and garnished with Indian wheat crisps. We also tried some of their famous Agra Samosa Chaat & Jaipur, Paneer Tikka all our starters were exceptional. We tried also their signature Mocktail Ras Leela which was really excellent and highly recommended. The star of the show was the main course. We ordered Malai Kofta, Dal Makhani, Veg Biryani, Break Basket. All our dishes were delicious in taste without any overpowering spices. We loved the Dal Makhani a lot. You will love it too. The vegetable biryani was extremely good it has the royal touch to it as soon as we open the pot of the biryani, we can feel the saffron & cardamon all around us. The portion size was decent. The dessert was wonderful we tried Patiala Kulfi it was just heavenly! 5* for the food and service. Can’t wait to be back for more.A perfect place. Its total value for money, the portion size is generous and food is delicious.Definitely a great place to visit.

This uniquely flavored and spiced kadai paneer is so much different from restaurants. From the bread section we opted for the garlic butter naan.At the end we treated our sweet soul to some yummy, soft, melt in the mouth gulab jamuns with perfect consistency and that rich taste of pistachios in the sugar syrup.

Located in Millennium Plaza Hotel, it has a beautiful Ambience with a lot of spaces between tables to enjoy your time spent. We went with their Chefs recommendation of some of their best culinary creations & perfected. Initially they served Rumali roti Masala Papad which was a crispy Rumali.Started with Almond Chicken Soup Roasted Dal, Lime Soup & Tandoori Chicken Salad. For the Appetizer ordered the Bhatti Chicken Tikka & Amritsari Shrimps. These were absolutely delicious & a must try. We then ordered for Butter chicken & Parda Gosht Biryani. Chicken was soft as ever, succulent, gravy was thick & full of flavours. Biryani ought to be one the best biryanis in town, juicy & moist lamb pieces cooked in rich, thick gravy topped with long grain aromatic biryani. A perfect combo enjoy with raita. For dessert we went for the Patiala kulfi. This is exquisite, comforting plus ofcourse the great presentation. No way you will ever get it wrong. Makhani filled with the goodness of cream. That one thing you like to have as a dessert is gulab jamun, served hot and soft. Ordered a number of items and all tasted wow!! Copper Chimney is a culinary legacy serving great Indian delicacies for decades. I have dined here earlier and thoroughly enjoyed my experience that time and this time was no different either. The place is pretty spacious with very chic and upscale ambiance. A wonderful picture gallery of yester years of famous people, bells hanging from ceiling on the staircase, a pop of greens here and there, an open kitchen where you can view the chefs honing their craftsmanship, entire place depicts warmth and comfort. We started with tomato soup, smooth in texture with perfect blend of sweet n tangy and was great start to our meal. Then for starters we had Dilli ki aloo tikki and veg seekh kebab. Aloo tikki was huge and super filling. Crisp exterior with nice spice blend of potatoes n peas and went so good with chutneys alongside. Veg seekh kebab was melting in the mouth, so soft and was relished by my lil one too.For mains we had veg dum Biryani. Aromatic, with long grains of rice with perfect blend of assorted veggies packed with tasty masalas and well blended with rice. Absolutely loved gorging onto it. On my last visit I had their amritsari chole and malai kofta which I loved it too. For desserts, we had the patiala Kulfi... kulfi was delicious, aptly sweet and was a great end to our meal. I didnt liked the vermicelli or the falooda used alongside the Kulfi but Kulfi in itself was so delectable.Overall, my dining experience was pretty pleasant on both the occasions and I thoroughly relished the food here. Quantity is pretty decent and the price tag is pretty reasonable owing to the location and the quality of food. Most definitely recommended !!!!

Amazing hospitality.1. Almond chicken soup :  Even being a foodie, I have never heard about this one. What about you guys? Thats why I chose this, to see what they deliver and they didnt disappoint. Its really yummy , I recommend this as its a little different from what we have usually.2. Bhatti ka murgh: Its another delicious dish. Not much spicey, but sure to make your taste buds tantalise.3. Tandoori chicken salad 🥗 : I am not quite a salad person but trust me, I enjoyed this as well. I liked the way chicken was cooked perfectly it and the dressing was spot on too.4. Dilli ki aloo chaat : OMG 😲 It was absolutely mouthwatering.5. Chicken Biryani: When I say Biryani I want it perfectly cooked. It was recommended to me by the restaurant, I tried and I loved it.6. Gulab jamun : After having dinner all of us has that little space left in our tummy for dessert. No indian meal is complete without this one.I cant wait to visit this place again. I highly recommend this restaurant for its impeccably tasty, quality food 👌👌👌

We dined at Copper Chimney, the food was not to our expectations. Though they have a 40% discount on Zomato pro likewise is discounted they have their food quality. Which 5-star hotel serves a Butter Chicken with Shredded boiled chicken in it. The ingredients used for preparing food were frozen and lacked freshness. The restaurant was empty with no ambient music at all when asked on the music staff said they do play it upon request which was further turned on for us. Which was surprising!! None of the staff was wearing gloves while serving food, on many occasions we saw few staff passing by the restaurant with mask down. Staff standing in the kitchen were mask down. The saddest part our experience was when we gave our valet ticket to a staff, he came back after 5 mins and handed over my car key and asking us pick your car from two building behind as the driver is no longer on shift, carrying an infant in hand we refused and asked to meet the duty manager who was busy and could not meet. Further requesting to security 15mins after someone got our car where the driver was again compromising on basic precautionary measures which no gloves, no disinfection.Never coming back.

A few footsteps away from Emirates Tower Metro station, @copperchimneydxb is the kind of restaurant youll return to whenever you fancy a night of delicious North Indian Dishes with friends and family. Everything about Copper Chimney is homely; the sweet but subtle service, the framed photos and artworks and bright lights streaming from the ceiling. It’s all done with creativity, in a space that is simple and contemporary and staff are attentive without being intrusive, recommending dishes and their favourite cocktails to ensure cravings satisfaction.Food itself is write-home worthy. The Butter Chicken for example is full of flavors with just the right sort of spicy you’ll still be scraping the bowl long after the dish is all gone. The Mutton Kheema Biryani is a must try too. The mixture of spices made even better with a slight hint of Saffron. Also tried the classic Char-grilled Chicken Tikka and it was delectable too. Perfectly grilled that maintained the juiciness of the chicken. To finish, I indulged in favorite treat - Gulab Jamun and ended my meal with a smile. They have wonderful staff led by Ms. Zoyathat makes the experience even more memorable.

Very nice place with decent prices and really excellent service. You should definitely try Kadak roomali - it’s nothing like I’ve ever had before. The bread was crispy, served with Indian spices and the presentation was quite unique. I also loved the Lal mirch prawns. The flavour was pretty strong and it was slightly spicy. For drinks I can wholeheartedly recommend Rasleela. It was has a sweet blend of flavour which kind of tasted like a mojito with a twist.

2 Star for the ambiance. Food is just like a regular restaurant. You may get the vibe of eating at usual chilia restaurant in Mumbai cause the staff keeps yelling from one corner to another. Parking facility is good as its a valet. In terms of staying upto words or claiming discount, they are one hell of a liar. We booked an ifar for 20 pax, 19 showed up and they tried to charge us for 20 deliberately. A similar zomato discount issue was seen with other customer at counter. Overall, worth spend is worth a better outlet and not here.

Beautiful interiors and delicious Indian food right at the heart of Dubai. I had mutton and chicken biryani, mixed grill, seekh kebab, two different kinds of prawns, butter chicken, kheer, gulab jamun and a passion fruit mojito. Ziane had a mango shake and said it was one of the best he had had in Dubai.I loved how authentic & fresh the food tasted. The best bit was that nothing was over powered with spices. The chatnis, naans & Lacha paratha complemented the grills. This is how Indian food should be in terms of quality and taste. I give it a 5 star.

The staff was a little noisy but the overall atmosphere was pleasant. The service staff was kind and accommodating. The food was good but not in terms of ethnic food since many flavours such as spice and herbs were missing from the food leading it to become a bit bland ( I believe they are catering to a foreign population), however, the prices were reasonable so therefore I give it a 4.

Disappointing experience...Reception staff was not welcoming (was busy on her pod) even wen there was no one else to attend to...table staff was prompt nd attentive even though I guess only two or three were attending the whole restaurant...wait time for food made us a little impatient...chicken chops were better than the famous mutton chops, as they seem to be under cooked and were hard to chew....prawns wid peppers was the only grace on the table...it wasnt over yet...we thought we cud satiate our sweet tooth but were served the patiala kulfi sans the falooda and tat too in a cheap plastic cup...presentation at a star hotel!!!! And ofcourse the baked mithai halwa came widout the dollop of icecream...had to remind them for it...the halwa was almost over till we got the scoop!!Hey Copper chimney guys If u wanna keep the chimney hot nd puffing u need to up ur game...Dubai definitely deserves better!!!

A good family restaurant serving decent North Indian delicacies.Tria the chicken tikka biryani which was cooked well with soft chicken pieces. The veg Seekh kebab was also soft and good for 2 people serving 4 kebabs.Butter chicken was OK in taste as have tried other places that have been better in taste. The quantity was good though.Nan and Rotis are soft.Did not like the Malai kofta as it was too salty so cancelled that.Do try the mocktails and the strawberry Chai was surely the best.

They served food in our office as a buffet, and as a person who enjoys Indian cuisine, i can considered it as one of the best one Ive ever had. The way they presented their image even for a short time of preparation is truly astonishing. The mutton rogash is what lingers in my taste bud as well as the potato dish (aloo tikki i think it is called). I highly recommend this restaurant for 3 reasons. Taste, presentation, and service.

Copper Chimney is an Indian Restaurant that serves variety of dishes. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with plenty of indoor seating available on the first floor. There is also a separate private dining room for large groups which is a little too formalI started off with Rumali Papar on staff’s recommendation – it was really worth it. It was large sized rumali papar with fresh salad and spices on it, loved it. I had delhi fried chicken, tandoori fish and chicken kadhai for main course. The chicken was crispy and delicious. I really enjoyed chicken kadhai with soft lacha paratha. For dessert, I had rice pudding which was well presented and tastyYou can avail up to 50% discount on Dine Souq and get an extra Aed 20 off your bill if you use code CC20 :)

Last week I got a chance to dine at Copper Chimneys Dubai outlet and try out some of their signature items. Their chicken biryani was my favourite. Bringing together the perfect proportions of rice, mildly spicy gravy and chicken, the North Indian Mughlai styled biryani ticked quite a few boxes for me. Apart from the biryani , I loved their Amritsari shrimps and Agra Samosa Chaat.Other dishes we tried were Almond Chicken Soup which was very similar to a classic chicken shorba, Jaipur Salad which was like namkeen mix topped with bell peppers, a traditional Butter Chicken paired with Garlic Naan and creamy Punjabi Kulfi drizzled with rooh afza syrup.Although this was my first time visiting the Dubai outlet, I’ve been to the Mumbai ones quite a few times and all I can say is they carry their beautiful flavors along with them wherever they go 💙

The Dubai outpost lives up to the Indian restaurants massive reputation. Expect delicious authentic North Indian dishes with a focus on Punjabi and Delhi favourites. We loved the potato and chicken starters, the Jalandhar prawn and the dhaba staple, chicken bharta. Food came in neat bowls, not over spiced or oily and one portion was enough for two good eaters. Prices are moderate, ranging from the twenties to the sixties (for a prawn main course) and service was reasonable. Located in Millennium Plaza Hotel right next to Emirates Towers metro station, the restaurant is easy to reach. Well worth a visit -- or three.

A scrumptious meal and good service is a recipe of a good restaurant. Copper Chimney ticks all the boxes with some well prepared delicacies. We were here one afternoon and had a feast. We started our meal with a Tandoori Chicken Salad and the Ras-Leela from the drinks. We also tried the Roomali Roti Masala Papad. The drink was refreshing and we could not keep our hands away from the salad. The Roomali Roti Masala Papad is a different twist to the regular masala papad and is a must have when here.We then had the Kalimirch Chicken and a portion of the Breaded Chicken. The chicken was absolutely tender and the spices in the kalimirch chicken were perfect. The Breaded chicken had a perfect crispy outer and soft of the inside - this was a meal for my little one and she enjoyed it. We also kept biting into it as it is really good. For the mains we called for a Parda Chicken Dum Biryani. While I relished everything so far I can go back to this place again and again for this biryani. We ended the meal with the Gulab Jamuns and this one is surely going to be added in the must haves list as well.Overall a good place to relish some Indian delicacies.
