Beautiful spot, many flamingos to see rather close up, wide range park.PROCEDURE:Wait-in-vehicle queue of max 5 (parking spots). Max. park capacity: 5 inside the park for a max of 10 minutes per visitor.

Great spot for a start to the day, especially if you love nature. Feeding time on the net says 9-10am but I think they move it to 10-11am in winter. We arrived at 9am and the birds were still mostly sleeping. Try taking a few pics through the telescope for some extra effect.

Situated opposite to Burn Khalifa and you can see one side with full of luxury and worlds tallest building and the other is full of greenery and flamingos ...

Great place. Go to mangrove hide #2. Feeding time 9-10am, 4-5 pm. They even come close to the entrance!!! I was in October, no flies, only flamingos :)

Viewing Hide 2: Excellent congregation of a pat of flamingos right in front of the hide! Wonderful experience for all - clean toilets and facilities. Limited parking.

Fridays and Saturdays are closed. Other days opens at 07:30. Currently only one observation hut is open. Others said under construction. No permit is given to walk around the lake. You can just go to the observation area and thats it. Only flamingos and some black-winged stilts, not much to see actually from the observation area. If it could be possible to walk around, would be much fun.

Its recommended to go in winter because there are too flys in the summer. Also you can only see the flamingos with a very small room and small windows with one telescope only. The room is not even air conditioned! But its not that bad..

Excellent place for families who love to spent some time with the nature. You can watch flamingos flying and landing 😀❤. I spent 1 hour here because I was in love with the flaming getting ready for a fly and then the style of landing. Amazing place ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤✌🇦🇪🇦🇪🇦🇪❤

Good place in winter

You would be surprised to see such greenery right in the middle of the Concerte jungle in Dubai. You get to see flamingos in their natural habitat. The right time to visit here is at 4 PM.

Very nice wildlife refuge... but VERY big. You need your car to walk from the lookouts.

This is good effort by Dubai Government to give a space to migratory birds. I believe that soon they will release more water in it.

Very nice place for nature lovers. Its free for visitors with limited time. Having free parking space for 4-5 vehicles and available on first come first serve basis. In addition to that you get a scenic view of dubai (photo lover will like it most). Once visit is must for this place.

Great spot to watch flamingos and relax in the Hussle of dubai..good for bird lovers and migratory bird studies . You can get good info of different species of migratory birds coming here

It took me forever to find this place but the long drive was worth it.During the pandemic you have to wait outside at the parking lot as they allow around five people in at a time for about 10 minutes.

Its a very nice atmosphere there. U get to see diff species of birds and u can see the flamingos in a tower . It feels very fresh and good there.

A nice area to get away from the city and desert and enjoy some unexpected wildlife. The little outpost has some information on the kind of birds you will find and depending on your luck.

I love anything that supports conserving wildlife. Its evident the budget is getting slim here so please donate ;) youll see some lovely flamingos and learn what they actually sound like in real life!Highly recommended anyone interested in flamingos or getting out of the city :)

This is a beautiful nature preservation area with mangroves & lagoons is home to a large population of flamingos. A Must see for families with children. There are several viewing locations provided by municipality.

Nice place to watch Flemingo. You can not go in open, theres a cabin made for visitors to watch the flemingo.

Nice place to see flamingos living like in poultry farm... But: THE CAR PARK IS PATHETICALLY SMALL!!! You might need to queue and wait, be prepared. So, better pay your visit before afternoon, better in the morning.

It’s nice to see all those Flamingos at one place. And 10min is more than enough.I like that they have security person at the place to control the order.

Its always a pleasure to visit and see natural beauty and what better place to have experience towards this beautiful view. Life is so different from the world we live in and they is calmness when you visit a site of this insight.

You can see mostly flamingos only, and from inside a post from a distance ( yes...there is a binocular) not worth for a dedicated trip unless its on your way. It will take maximum 30 min for whol trip. Good for those who are interested in photography...and the entrance is free of charge ...

Awesome and Must visit place in Dubai

The only chance to see flamingos in their habitat!Free entrance, very limited parking spots in the nearest proximity!The long wooden bridge leads you to a tiny hut where a binocular is present to spot flocks of flamingos!Unfortunately you are not allowed to exit. The gut and go closer the birds but thats made purely not to disturb them.

You can watch Flamingos and other Migratory birds very closely. Please use the place properly and conserve it for next Generations too👍

Visiting hours is Sunday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Drones are not allowed. So u can use DSLR, SLR or mobile camera for capturing the beauty. Pets are a no-no. So is fishing, catching or touching the birds. Due to COVID restrictions, only 5 people are allowed in the viewing area at a time. Follow the COVID protocol and enjoy the location. Winter is the best season to visit the place. U can see various type of migratory birds on winter time. Parking slots are limited.

Good place you have to visit

This is an absolute gem! Go between 9am - 10am and 3pm - 4pm to watch all the flamingos fly and walk closer to the observation house. After 10am and 4pm they feed the flamingos which is something you shouldnt miss! If you have a good camera, dont forget to bring it!

We can park our vehicle at designated area and wait for our turn to the view point. A max of 10 minutes we can spend at viewpoint. The view of flamingos is very nice.

In the new year we can cover 3 places. The Burj Khalifa, Dubai Frame and Festival City.

Amazing place. So peaceful and natural yet minutes away from the busy city life. Well worth a visit. They have free binoculars there. Good during mid to late winter.

The site was closed due to covid and some maintenance but we were still able to see flamingos from far.

A place to visit for all bird lovers.

Visited Feb 2015. Excellent hide for observing flamingos. Hire a taxi to take you there wait and return to town.

Beautiful place. They have 2 watch places and both have different amazing views of the flamingos and dubai scenery. Though watch house 2 has more flamingos in it. They are so beautiful and of the guys told us he saw a falcon too looking for prey in the area. This place is a must visit and entrance is free.

One of the oldest and best places to watch live birds in Dubai . Mostly you can watch flamingos and other kind if birds, depends on the season. If you are a photographer get your zooming lens to get great photos.

It has got a covered viewing deck where theyve got some seating as well. You can bring tripods for photography. Toilets are there as well. A well maintained place and a good getaway from the skyscrapers of Dubai. Within Dubai!

A place to view flamingos and other birds up close. There are 2 observation areas, one can observe the mangroves from cabin 1 and flamingos from cabin 2. Take your own binoculars for a more closer experience, there is one binocular machine on site.You will need to go there in your own personal car, a taxi might get you there but hailing a taxi during return is difficult.A small Serengeti in the midst of a concrete jungle.
