Its amazing flamingo spots with natural beauty and wonderful scenery.Details:Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary is a wetland reserve in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, renowned for attracting migratory birds in large numbers. The wetlands have large numbers of birds, crustaceans, small mammals and fish.This sanctuary represents an enclave of relative wilderness amidst traffic and sprawling urban infrastructure. Located just as the name in Arabic suggests – at the Cape of the Creek, it is among the few urban protected areas of the world.

The Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary is an area surrounded by the skyscrapers of the city. There are 3 viewing areas to view the wildlife, and we decided to go to shack number 2 which has a very close view to the flamingos, however, if you decide to go, reach early if possible, as parking spaces are very limited, about 7 car spaces only, and the place closes at 5:30pm. Entry to the sanctuary is free.Due to the Covid situation, only limited numbers of people are allowed, so you will have to wait in the car, and a security person will hand out a queueing ticket, and call you when it is your turn.Once in the shack, you will have approximately 10 minutes, or less to take photos, and use the viewing port to see the birds in the distance. Personally I only saw the flock of flamingos and a small mouse, but there must be more birds and animals to see if you get the time.

Such a great place to see beautiful creatures and it’s free!!!! Incredible. Be aware that after you arrive at the parking get a sequence number with the security guy, they are controlling the amount of people in the hide so you can enter when it’s your turn. By the way the direction of this place on google map can be quite tricky that it suggested us to park on the other side of highway and cross the multiple lanes on foot which is crazy! Check the route before driving or try other navigation like waze.

Lovely little flamingo hideout! Might be hard to find but worth it. In Covid times you might want to bring your own binoculars!

Amazing unique spot full of flamingos. Guard very helpful and kind.

Difficult to find, not much parking. Youre only allowed ten minutes viewing because they only allow ten people into the hide at a time so to give everybody a turn.Not many birds to see when we went

There is no clear direction to this place anymore. There are no flamingos anymore. Earlier There used to be several, now there are just few flamingos and the staff there doesnt even interact or help much to provide any information. I even had to ask him to open the glass so that I could use the lens to see the birds.

Nice place to see the Flamingo in the habitat. Only 5 persons allowed in viewing deck. Limited parking. Kids will enjoy

Great telescopic view as well as naked eye enjoyment by the window. The observatory is air conditioned and the view of 100+ flamigoes together in the lap of nature is so soothing. Is child friendly too.

Wonderful place, a sanctuary in the middle of dubai. Easy access from the main road, very close to the airport, many people enjoy bird watching. The place is equipped with clean and good toilets and a small parking area outside the watching station. There are lots of birds, several species

No entry fee yet...a lot of flamingos can be seen. And they gather in a large group during feeding time which is around 5 pm in gate 2. Not much parking available in gate 1, but in gate 2 there is a separate area exists for parking.

This place is closed due to covid-19. For now, they dont know when it will be reopened yet
