Very bad experience . I was invited couple of times to go for a free make up session, do students can practice. So today at 11 am I was there as agreed . Guess what, the trainer was 25 min late and coming did not say even hi, just apologized to the trainee for being late. When I ask for someone in charge to talk to, she answered in a very rude & arrogant way that its no one to complain, that she apologized to the trainee, but not obligated to apologize to me, and I am free to complain, she dosnt care, as its not her company....I am wonder if the management or the owner pay her for such an attitude.Highly NOT RECOMMENDED.

I really liked the course, my teacher make me feel comfortable there, the atmosphere is good.I just think who is behind the teacher have to be more commitment for replace the products and provide the models.My teacher wasn’t there in my exam day, and I felt disappointed. They didn’t try to change the date, and in my view this cannot be a normal procedure.

I was very lucky to find AL RUBA BEAUTY INSTITUTE for MAKEUP.... to learn new techniques... I took online class coz I couldnt make for offline but was so glad that it didnt affect the ways to teach...The teachers were so helpful in all the ways..and showed us most convenient ways to do makeup.. my special thanks to our trainer our theory teacher our online coordinator and Kamila maam ... and she always says keep practicing girls!!!! 😊😊that all together helped me to become a good makeup artist ...I would recommend if anyone would like to upgrade their skills... to join their class ...and at last practice is the most important key to become perfect.... 😊

I took a beginners makeup course for 10 days and I was amazed by the results. I went from zero knowledge to having enough confidence to work independently on my models from day 3 . The teacher was very professional and made it so easy for me to grasp the knowledge and techniques I needed. The staff were very friendly. I definitely recommend taking this course.

I studied in this school for about 25 days for makeup. And would say that it has given me a boost of confidence. Because besides the incredible makeup trainer I also got the chance to meet the whole Al Ruba team.It really does feel like a family, because I was making a lot of mistakes and no one shamed me for it. They were patient and would explain till i got it.Everyday I got to do beautiful makeup looks. Im so glad to be an Al Rubian .When I joined I was a beginner with absolute zero knowledge on makeup .The 10days of course had changed me completely.They trained me so well .My trainer Aidai was super amazing .She gives detailed explanation both theory wise as well practical wise regardless of your experience. When I compare myself the makeup look I created the first day V/S the Last day ,improvement was unbelievable.Already feeling like PRO make up artist😂 . Moreover whole team treats us like a family. The owner Kamila she is super supportive and arrange get together, meet ups with all the ex students very often to keep in constant touch with her students . They are even giving chances for fashion shows and other big events even after your graduated to build a career which is super cool . The salon is in a good location with easy parking. The staff were friendly and the variety of services is good. I got my hair cut and the student was not very experienced and also quite slow, so I am glad the teacher helped her and gave her feedback so she could improve. The teacher was good and gave me a good quality hair cut. The blow dry from the student was also good. Overall a good experience and recommend if you are not in a rush.

I am an ex make-up student of Al Ruba institute, and I didnt only get my KHDA certificate from there, but learnt a lot too. Trust me guys, I just took 10 days course of make-up classes, but got a great deal of practice sessions, got to do an event, and still occasionally enjoy practising there even after finishing my course! Theyve a super experienced trainer, whos talent is well-known in the UAE for her reputed make-up career. Anybody can watch the online YouTube videos, but at Al Ruba they teach you so well that you can start doing a good make-up by the 4th day of course itself, and start building your portfolio. What I appreciated the most was, they also help you in teaching you photo angles, how to correct make-up mistakes, giving the product knowledge, etc. The owner of Al Ruba takes care of tiniest details and provides excellent guidance and opportunities to the students. I had the pleasure of studying with the fabulous team at Al Ruba. I decided to take 3 different courses, I started with Full nail tech course with Katya, who was truely amazing with me. Super patient ☺️ and very good at what she does. I left Katya and went to study Full Make Up course without Dmytry. Dmytry has talents beyond words, he’s a make up magician and will teach you things that you will not see anywhere else. Finally, I studied the Full hairdressing course with the mega enthusiastic Hasan, Hasan has a lot of experience in hairdressing and has won many awards in the industry. Hasan spared no time in explaining things to me when I found it hard to understand. I left with hairdressing knowledge that carried me into a salon straight away after completing his course. Now after all of these trainings I am thoroughly enjoying my new career in Beauty and I look forward to see what the future brings for me. Thanks Al Ruba, you guys really changed my life. Xxx

Went there as a hair model, ended up with all over burn hair instead of Balyage (as what they promised). This shows that they can’t train their students to do a good job. Ended up going to a professional hair salon to get my hair recovered. All they offered in the end was a hair mask instead of compensating me for my badly burn hair. extremely disappointed.

I really loved it, it was much more better than I expected, I missed a class on the first day and they took the responsibility of covering the class that I missed, the staff are very helpful and friendly its kind of far the price is high but its worth it as its a qualified school. Adai is the trainer and she is amazing teaches every step of make up perfectly and explains on point really happy to learn basic makeup from a wonderful trainer and a lot of love and support from the staff. I suggest whoever want to learn the basic makeup or advanced you should definitely check out Al Ruba institute.Thank u Adai and the staff🤗
