Such a cool salon! The staff are extremely professional and courteous from the moment you walk in. I wasnt too sure what I wanted but just gave a rough explanation of what my hair problems were. Sandra gave great solutions and gave me such a fresh cut! They also dont use your insecurities to sell you expensive add on services, which is such a big relief and a welcome change! Visited Ashwina with the intention of getting a different style of cut and highlights since I have completely straight hair and for the better part of the last 1.5 years all its done is fall flat. Since this was my first time getting highlights I was very apprehensive about it. Ashwina explained the process, what type of colour and which colour would look good according to my face cut and complexion. She left the decision to me but assured me to leave it in her hands and the end result would be great. I took the plunge - got my hair cut shorter than I have had it in years and the highlights look great as well. Sadly i dont live in Dubai anymore but anytime that I do visit next time, Im definitely going back

Located in Mankhool near Aster Hospital, this salon is really good. They also have a Moroccon Bath and Spa branch right next to it. You might feel that the prices are a bit on the higher side comparatively but its worth it. The staff is friendly yet professional and they know what they are doing. Its definitely worth a 5 star!!

Ive been going to Ashwina salon since 2016, especially for nails and hair services. It is an only ladies salon. I highly recommend getting beautiful haircuts and colouring sevices done by Indu, who is a senior hairstylist there. And for nails, please get them done with Jolly. They even have a separate space for massage and hamam services, which is worth checking out.

Guess my search for the perfect salon ends here. You begin by walking into a beautifully vintage ambience. Rush hour at all times, because thats how good they are.I wanted a global color, but Ashwina literally sat me down for a good 10 minutes and recommended against it, given how chemically treated my hair already was. I had to convince her to at least give me highlights, which she reluctantly agreed to. Thats the kind of honesty Id like from my hair dresser.Considering how particular I am about my hair, the result was absolutely beautiful, and also came with a warning no more chemicals on your hair for the next 8 months at least.While I was getting my hair spa done, I also got Gel nails for my hands and feet, and believe me, I have NEVER loved my nails so much till date! I dont have the best of nails, but the end result made me feel so confident and in love with my nails. Ended with a stunning yet simple blow dry, that had friends asking me where I got it done!All of the staff there are highly skilled, and I would absolutely and very highly recommend this place to every woman who wants to walk out feeling all new! Price wise, its the same as any other salon. But service wise, they are definitely a level higher.

I just loved the hair cut and she did Olaplex hair treatment for me which I just loved it.I did Shehnaaz Facial which is done by Dhanak And apart from that Manicure and Pedicure.All the staff were very friendly and nice. I came to Ashwina for a haircut and color a little over a year ago. I came back after trying other places, because this vintage salons owner has a sharp eye for each customers unique hair needs. You receive clear consultation of what may or may not work on you. Great service, particularly owing to the technical finesse for color and cut. Prices match most swanky salons in the city but heres a place you can leave smiling.

Ashwina is one of the best salon I have visited in Dubai. I tried it for nail art so far thats when I saw a huge crowd leaving the salon with excellent haircut and hair colors. The owner Ashwina is very knowledgeable about hair, however I wasn’t very impressed with her hair cut. I went there based on the reviews but clearly didn’t get a haircut I was completely impressed by. Also after paying around 1500Aed between hair cut and hair smoothening, it was disheartening to receive comments from friends that the outcome didn’t feel worth the money. My advice would be for you to research thoroughly on any service and cost for it upfront and not be surprised as I was once there. I wouldn’t have minded paying the amount if the end result was worth it. It’s important to give an honest opinion, hence I took the time to write it.

Had a complete makeover with my hair at ashwins salon with Ashwina today , and it was just wow!ive always been a client of Ashwina’s since may be the past 4 to 5 yrs , a very regular one at that too. Have used the salon extensively for hair , nails and feet . Have had great experiences with Sandra, Myrna and Ton , and of course almost all the girls there . Have always admired Aswinas craftsmanship and her skills as an entrepreneur. Then the pandemic happened ! And for 9 long months i didnt visit the salon. Yesterday called Ashwina and asked her about how she can allay my fears about visiting her for a quick hair cut ..She was very understanding about my fears ..that was the initial hurdle crossed ..!!As a health care provider who regularly deals with nervous clients during this period I was reassured by her empathy towards my fear . Then when i walked into the salon, the most reassuring thing was seeing the girls with masks, social distancing and following all the rules . And were they happy to see me ! it was like meeting long lost friends . Ashwina of course immediately understood what sort of a radical hair cut i had in mind ..she pitched in her take and lo behold in 30 minutes it was a new me ! And she taught me how to continue the styling at home ! and how to use proper product ! Of crse ill miss Sandras hot red colouring of my hair, now that i have decided to embrace my greys ! Also miss Tons beautuful out of the world nail art which cannot be done in this era of gloves and masks .But life goes on and i cant wait to show off my brand new hair cut ..and how easy it is to maintain ! The owner (dont know her name) interacts with all the customers and provides useful tips.Had scheduled a haircut with their stylist Ms. Sakina on recommendations and on a whim decided to get streaks done too. Found a place for perfect haircuts! Ashwin a is really accommodating, I had to cancel an hour before my appointment and get another one for the next day, she was kind enough to do that. The haircut was really nice, I loved it, will be coming back :)

Ive visited a good number of salons in Dubai and i can say for sure that this one charged me the highest for a keratin treatment. Yes my hair is long but the rate i was charged was unheard of. Also the service was different and much longer than what i was told over phone. So i ended up over staying and over paying. They should have set the expectations right in the beginning.. thats my only ask.

I went for a haircut and was offered a treatment for reducing fizz. Sakina did an amazing job, even though i wasnt sure at first if i should be taking the treatment, but now after two days i love my hair. Surely going back for the love of having healthy hair.Sakina is your go to person for haircuts and hair health. Absolutely recommend this place.
