We were unfortunately super disappointed with our experience here, despite expecting a luxurious evening in the highly anticipated Burj al Arab, we instead received poor service and lesser than average drinks for a hefty price tag. On the plus side by having reservations here you get to see inside Burj Al Arab... but unfortunately would not return to this bar.

Stunning views! Love all the gold decorations inside! The cocktail we had was also a nice original twist which i loved! The lamb canape was tasty. And of course going through the hotel is just amazing. Truly world class

Beautiful restaurant on top floor. Golden decore gives very rich, luxorious feel. Excellent cocktails and food, I liked Demise of the donkey cart cocktail most 😋.Staff are very prompt and courteous.

Stunning view. Awesome bar inside Burj Al Arab. You have to make a reservation and dress nicely. World class! Staff there is really friendly and nice. Cocktails are really nice and original. You can get a drink with gold inside it.

Highly disappointed with the bar, the views offered! The food choices available didnt taste up to expectations. Shisha was great, the services offered by the Shisha company were on point, they kept checking every 15-20 mins how things were going. Drinks didnt live up to the expectations! Overall, highly disappointed with the choices offered, views provided. If youre willing to spend that kind of money, go to another rooftop or club and have a vip table service.

Gaudy only begins to describe the Gold Bar. It’s dripping with opulence and sparking with charm. It’s like stepping into the realm of King Midas if he were a 21st century mogul. Brilliant place for well balanced, beautifully mixed cocktails inspired by the past, present and future of Dubai. Choose your own adventure or try something from all three. A must see when visiting Dubai.

If youre ever in Dubai, you must visit Gold on 27!! The views are incredible and the shisha is fantastic. ❤❤

A fancy bar at the top of the only 7-star hotel in the world. Its possible to make reservations and visit even if youre not a guest at the hotel. Its not cheap, and theres a minimum spend, but its a lot less than the larger Skyview bar. However, not much of a view at night - arrive before it gets completely dark.

Burj AlArab is the best hotel and the only seven stars hotel in the world

As usual, top class service from Gold on 27. Nice atmosphere although I miss the live spins by DJ Darko. It is refreshing to have such great service end to end. Mixologist was his usual amazing self, well proportioned cocktails. And one of the few places you can get the true Absinthe Ritual! Always a pleasure to come, always sad to leave.

Visited during my short stay in Dubai. It was my first time at the top of Burj Al Arab and Im happy I picked this bar. I really enjoyed my experience the drinks and the view from up there was amazing. The cocktails were well presented and tasted so good!The waitresses were really good and helpful and I was surprised to find out that some of them could speak Russian to me as its quiet a rare experience being a UK resident, so really made me feel at home I really appreciated the small things they did like coming over to see if I wanted more drinks or anything.Im usually very picky when it comes to type of music I like but I thought the music played there was really good!I will definitely be returning here when I visit Dubai again.

Unbelievable views, the food and drinks were amazing

You need to make a reservation or there will be no entry into the hotel. View was nice, decor was on point, Hermès lotion and perfume were available in the bathroom, and drinks were very pricey. Docking a star because the drinks were only okay.

Very nice views from the top, facing the city and not the sea. Pretty good cocktails in a luxuriant presentation. The food is more a bite or snack, so dont come hungry here :-) the prices are according with the place. The staff is very friendly and helpful, making the stay perfect.

Came here back in December with my family and met up with some friends for Christmas drinks. The cocktails are excellent and the views from the bar are stunning. The staff are very friendly tentative making sure you have everything that you want. Drinks are expensive but worth it I had the sharing rose gold cocktail

Yeah, its pricey but youre in a Duabi landmark hotel enjoying a pretty neat view and great service too, plus a delicipus cocktail which tall glass was dusted with 24k gold. Is it necessary? Probably not... But then its Dubai - a place like Vegas in steroids anyway. Still worth visiting... 👍⛵

It is best restaurant in the world. The view is astonishing. They offer a truly premium quality of service. Everything is perfect. I warmly recommend!

When you are at 200 meter above the sea in burn al Arab you can expect one thing only paradise amazing view, the service is royal, the staff was absolutely well trained and highly qualified, the price is so acceptable @ min charge of 200 Aed which almost 60 usdollar is more than enough to enjoy a drink at this special place....its just perfect.

Wonderful bar and a spectacular event room on floor 27, recommed it for any small and private event.

We booked a table here and turned up 5 minutes before our booked time to find an empty booth where the hostess should be. Eventually she turned up... and took a phone call. Finally she showed us to our table... or not, actually. No tables available (we booked!), so we backtracked and were told she would come back for us in a little while, which she did not. An hour later we left. Seven stars? Hardly. We were extremely well-dressed and there were men hanging around in T shirts and jeans. Ive received superior service at much cheaper venues. Will not return.

We visited Gold on 27 last night for our 1st wedding anniversary. The service was second to none and the drinks were amazing. They couldnt have done more for us if they tried, we had a brilliant night! Our favourites were the sabach and above the clouds and the gold bar dessert

Its a shame that such a magnificeint setting is spoiled by really poor service. We visited at a time when the bar was full and the place was clearly understaffed, from no one at the bar entrance to greet us to having to chase the bar staff to order a drink and chase them again to pay. As mentioned spectacular venue, unspectacular service.

Best Bar experience in my life!

Everyone knows that the food in touristy places is often overpriced, and not the quality that can be found elsewhere. I know this, but I took a chance and... well. Everyone is right.We chose the Franciscan over other options because of the view and the menu. We wanted crab, and somewhere nice to sit and look at the water.This place does in fact have an amazing view. We were seated promptly at a table with a bay view, and we really enjoyed the view.Sadly, that is all that was enjoyable besides the bread. The bread was good; crusty on the outside and soft inside.Two of our party did the Prixe Fixe menu. One selected the chowder, one the house salad. Both were alright, but not worth the price tag. We both went with the Dungeness crab legs in their special garlic sauce.Never in my life have I had crab legs that were so brittle to deal with. The shell literally broke into shards, flaked and cracked away from the meat... the meat that was overcooked, dry, rubbery, and flavorless. Add to that the bizarre flavorless oil smeared all over the thing, and it was quite an unpleasant dining experience.Why? Ill never know. A place like this should 100% be able to cook crab appropriately. I feel like we would have been better ofd at Joes Crabshack.Dessert came with this. It was described as a house made vanilla custard ice cream. It was served in a drinking glass, and it tasted like McDonalds soft serve.Dont let them view talk you into eating here, kids. Your $ is surely better spent elsewhere.
