Well Buddha Bar was what I expected to be: good music and food. Sushi was good, dumplings were amazing. The dessert didn’t impress me in terms of taste but looked good nevertheless. The staff and service were top!

I took my partner here for surprise Birthday meal. The staff were really sooo helpful in making his Birthday so special. Thank you to them. They took my cake delivery, gave us amazing table next to DJ and all the staff came together to sign Happy Birthday for him. The food was gorgeous and such tasty smooth white wine! The atmosphere is so beautiful and they even have a cute little sofa for lady handbags, that is a sign of class!

There is loud music playing as they have a DJ. The DJ doesn’t play usual pop songs that are on the radio, I’m not sure which genre he plays but he sets a great vibe for the restaurant. We had a really lovely dinner and enjoy the food thoroughly. Would visit again!

This is an incredibly tough one for me to review…We had our wedding reception here and the manager was incredible, he did everything correct in insuring us and our friends had an excellent time including getting our wedding cake delivered there. The food is great, atmosphere was lovely as well as we were seated directly in front of the Buddha and the music was good too however …The women who work there. Wow. I’ve never known to be so rude… upon checking the place out before deciding on this venue, I was already unsure as I was completely ignored and not even acknowledged. Considering the fact it was for myself, the bride, and the groom. However, I decided to let it slide and continue anyway with the venue on such short notice and give benefit of the doubt.Even arriving on the night for our wedding reception, it was even worse… I may as well not been there and they didn’t even want to talk, look at me or acknowledge me. Even when asking for our name and I answered, the women there made sure to deliberately roll their eyes to divert their attention away and ignore what I said and go direct to my husband instead, who simply just repeated what I had already said, our name.Our friends seemed to have had a good time which was the main thing we wanted and the manager co-ordinating everything did a truly fantastic job, big kudos to him and the waiter, they get full high rating but… with how you are ‘welcomed’ on entertains the establishment… it’s not the kind of welcome I would want considering I wasn’t even felt welcomed there at all and even upon leaving they didn’t even acknowledge my existence.They need to do better at acknowledging ALL customers who enter and leave the establishment…Unfortunately, I don’t think I will ever return. Brunch 11/06/21Buddha bar has just started brunch and on Friday I had the pleasure of experiencing Seventh Heaven (name of brunch). It was absolutely 5 star from start to finish. We were greeted with a glass of pink fizz on arrival and taken to our table. The food menu was incredible and every dish was amazing. The cocktails were fantastic too. Service was exceptional with Arvind and Winlia providing us with a constant supply of food and drink and Malaka making fabulous cocktails. The venue itself is very decadent. They had a live DJ and drummer. What a brilliant atmoshpere. 10/10 for isabella the GM for pulling this off

Felt like we escaped to a magic place.Amazing atmosphere with relaxing ambient music, stylish asian decor, and super tasty food. Wonderful experience at Buddha-Bar, our server Arvin was accommodating in every way. So many options on the menu and every option Arvin suggested was 10/10, he did not miss! Drinks were amazing and food was to die for.Thank you for the amazing service Arvin, see you next time!

Went for dinner time to this place. Its very dark inside, I have very good quality eyes but I felt that I was forcing my eyes too much looking at the menu so I put the light of my phone on. Is also a cold restaurant so ladies bring a scarf 😌. The food was amazing!! Sooo good and tasty. I ordered all the vegetarian options really, the most memorable thing for me is the coconut rice, OMG! I cant wait to go back to this Restaurant only for that rice. Walid, thank you so much for your service and talk you are a very nice person... I couldnt make it to dessert this time because I was so full. You will love this place, great for a date, to have a romantic dinner.

Music is good, vibes are amazing, i tried some maki sushi and lobester dumplings and they were very tasty, however prices are very high to quantities, but definitely will go there again. The good thing that there was smoking tables indoors which is a blessing for a smoker like me.The place is good for having a good photo or two, nice backgrounds are all over the place.

Another great meal at this lovely restaurant in the grounds of the grosvenor House Hotel. The setting was a bit dark, needed to use phone riches to see the menu but the food and atmosphere were very good. Recommended

The sushi platter was bomb and shrimp tempura was excellent. The seating was the ultimate charm. And the cocktails were nice. The hassled last hour did kill my experience as they shut at 1am with no music.. ahh bummer. Solid spot tho.

Went here on a friends recommendation. We sat at the bar for drinks and had a great experience. There were 2 bartenders and both came up and talk to us and told us about their individual inspiration of their menu and we could really hear the passion for what they do. Everyone there was hospitable and very warm. Would recommend anyone for drinks and we will be returning to try out their Asian cuisine!

Excellent restaurant with great menu options though a tad on the pricey side.Quality of most dishes is excellent. Theres a good range to choose from for all palates.Service is generally excellent and ver attentive.Ambiance is the killer feature, its almost breathtaking when you first walk into the dining hall.

The most authentic and inspiring dessert menu I have seen here in Dubai.Fantastic service, exceptional food. The evening was made extra special after dinner when we went upstairs to our usual annual spot for a bottle of champagne and we were greeted so warmly by an old friend Arvin. Cant believe he recognised us after 5 years! He looked after us impeccably and we treated us like royalty. A true asset to the company. He is one in a million and our time at Buddha would simply not be the same without him.Regarding the presentation and taste of the food, the restaurant Zen-go was a bit more impressive, so that is the explanation for 4/5.Divine cocktails with knowledgeable staff. Food was delicious. Not cheap but worth every penny.

An old school dubai classic. Always quality food, with good drinks menu. Great that you cant smoke downstairs. Shows on the weekends are entertaining but not annoying to your meal. Cocktail names are very interesting. The prices are on the high side.

Wanted to celebrate birthday there. Got told its only allowed to stay 3 hours. When I asked to get 4 hours because of the birthday as we planned to eat and have some drinks, I got No because this is against our policy as an answer! Seems like they dont want our money and I will for sure not go there in future anymore.

Had an amazing time at Buddha Bar! It was my and hubbys first time there and we were celebrating our anniversary and my bday! To start of with a big thankyou and appreciation to Anif who was our server for the evening! Absolutely loved his service from his recommendation to the way he provided excellent customer service. Was an absolute delight! Coming to the food my favourite was thier signature chicken salad which was nothing like any other salads i have had! Loved it and would def wanna go back to have it again! We ordered the nasi goreng and mi goreng which was full of flavor! Hubby got them to surprise me for our anniversary and was served the most amazing and not sickeningly sweet chocolate cake..could just not stop eating it! Overall loved the experience and would love to go back!

Ambience and music were great, food was very disappointing, we have ordered 6 dishes non of them were satisfactory, PF chang taste and quality. Everything is coated with so much sauce to hide the main ingredient taste. And the rolls werent fresh. Tuna on crispy rice was nice.

The ambiance is awe-striking, the music is sublime, the service is spectacular and the food out of this world. Start of with a drink of choice in the bar. Head to your table and eat some far eastern delicacies. Ending in another round from tonnes of drinks options to select from.

The well known Buddha bar. Always elegant tidy and classy. The famous place decorations with the huge golden Buddha statue. The food quality is perfect and the drinks are nice. The bathroom is fancy and tidy. The prices are of the average. A well designed restaurant and bar consists of two floors. First floor for the restaurant and the upper floor for the bar and smoking area. Good known for the special nice music made specially for Buddha bar. Specially recommended
