As an ex professional dancer who has been off the floor for some time. I took the plunge and we the jame and Alex dance studio. Intimidated by my decision I was thrilled to find that this place and the staff are warm and friendly and helpful. I don’t fit into their traditional classes because of my background but they have tailor made a package for me to be able to get back in the floor and learn some new grooves. This is what dance is supposed to be about. Simply enjoying dance and making it accessible for everyone no matter what their level or requirements. One visit and I’m already a firm fan. Very great full for a positive visit.

The place to be! Home away from home. Honestly, cant recommend it enough. The vibes are amazing, the people even better with the best instructors.Its not just a class, Its a family. I attend ballet classes and never thought that I will be doing ballet. Great support from our teacher and my body has transformed rapidly. Really love it, especially after work the classic music gives you a piece of mind. Amazing!

Teachers Saj and Emi are doing a great job. Have taken both private and group classes with them, and have been enjoying lots. They are also helping to build a community around dancing. Strongly recommend this school.

My group of dancers were at the studio for a shoot and most of the things at the studio weren’t great. There were extra things kept all over the room it was nothing like the picture, we moved things around with permission and at the end the owner came and swore at us for doing so and treated us in a bad manner. He did not consider the fact that we’re minors and he shouldn’t be treating us that way. They did give us a discount for the studio but it was really not worth it. The lights were very loose so we couldn’t reposition them and the control board was not arranged or working properly.Overall if it’s for dancing you can go for this studio but if you need a friendly environment and need the place for a dance shoot I would not recommend.

My first membership was for 12 classes available during 3 months! I finished it in 1 week I think) that’s how amazing it was! Every class which I attended had something important to me,every coach here is so professional,so resourceful, absolutely amazing like coaches and very kind and open like people! I am taking Zumba,Ballet,Reggaeton,Fit and Stretch,Hip-Hop,Street Dance,Contemporary,Afrobeats classes! All of them fulfilling each other,it’s like different kinds of pleasures which I’m mixing! I lost weight! I’m improving my dancing skills! And I don’t wanna stop! This is my third package now) Because I take a lot of classes unlimited monthly package is the best for me! In love with the place and with the team..The receptionists are very helpful and very friendly! So I guess I’m here for long;)

Highly recommend classical ballet and stretching classes in James&Alex Studios with incredible teacher Elena. Having vast experience and achievements in classical ballet, Elena is a very humble professional, caring and attentive to each and very student and she is very respectful to the individual progress of each student. She makes every lesson a balanced mixture of work on basics, fun and creativity. Every lesson is truly a new adventure with her. In James&Alex they have classes for absolute beginners and more advanced students, so everyone who has ever dreamed of ballet can give it a try even with zero background. And I assure you if you attend ballet and stretching classes with Elena and will be consistent you will see nice changes in your body, posture and walk, you will get desired strength and flexibility. Studio was mediciore at best, different from the pictures we were presented. LEDs were loose, had a horrible quality, and was arranged weirdly.Someone was unprofessional about a piano being moved - with permission - and had a rude attitude about it, even swore, which made the experience go from eh to bad.Overall not recommended unless willing to follow unnecessary strict rules.

I started learning Salsa in the studio 3 months ago and I felt so lucky that I chose James & Alex and Izabella to start my dancing journey with! Izabella is an amazing teacher who’s encouraging and inspiring me all the time. She always tries to find the best way for each student to learn and perfect their moves. The passion and shininess enlighten the students to keep learning and making progress. Loving the studio itself as well! The variety of the packages help you find the one works for you favor super easily. The studio is not just running business but really inspiring the students to explore the dancing world and preparing us for a bigger stage. All of the staff and coaches are super friendly and helpful. It’s a place where you can escape from the stress and find people who share the same passion as you.

Ive been going to James & Alex Dance Studios for a couple months now, taking the Beginner Ballet class with Elena and its been so great! I bought the 12 hr package and I will definitely be buying the same package again. Elena is a great teacher and always provides helpful feedback. In addition to being a fun class, its also a great workout. Highly recommended!

Ive been with James & Alex since November last year and Ive done classes with Noemi and Tony.Noemi is an absolute delight in class- shes very clear in the way she teaches the steps. Her energy and positivity is contagious. Ive never had a dance instructor that is as supportive as she is. Ive done Kizomba with her and as well as her Ladies Styling class. Each time Ive been in a fun environment that helped me progress with dance. I recommend her for both women and men (she knows how to lead too!) Emi makes you feel like youre dancing with a friend, not a teacher and student. Even if im not in the mood for dance, she lifts my spirits and gives me confidence to have the best class ever. Im so glad i found her here!Tony Kizomboy taught me kizomba from 0, and i can comfortably say i know how to dance now. Hes a great teacher, with amazing music and just makes the class so fun. Hes a great leader, even if you dont know how to dance, its very easy to pick up the steps with him. My favorite Kizomba teacher in Dubai!Overall, the studio is great. A nice community of teachers and students. Highlight of my week when im there!

James & Alex is a very nice and friendly studio were you can learn dance in a professional way. I had salsa lessons with Izabela and it was amazing!! I was able to learn very fast and start my salsa moves. Izabela is amazing teacher and can teach you from beginner to advance levels. Recommend strongly !!

We’ve been going to James & Alex since July this year. We thought, during the pandemic, might as well make true our long lost wish of learning to dance Salsa. Since we started our instructor Isabella has taught us quite well with a large focus on technique and combinations. We are a married couple and don’t typically switch partners however we’ve learned and leaped past some others who started before but didn’t keep up or had classes elsewhere! I started the Salsa and Bachata classes with James and Alex. For a person who has never danced before, whos lower and upper body dont connect and who has two left feet. I have always been very self conscious about dancing. Eyad has always been great in advising the best way to start and the best people to take classes with. Alexs amazing passion and energy when it comes to salsa is unmatched, he makes it so fun that its now one of the session I love to attend. Last but by no means least is Isabella, thank you for all the confidence, patience and support. I would not be having the enjoyment of salsa and bachata if you were not there! We had our first lesson with Sarge today for Bachata. It was amazing. We are beginners and he was able to break it down to our level. And we had so much fun! Definitely recommended!

I recently joined the academy and I feel like I’m progressing at a high pace with my amazing instructor Saj! They offer private and group lessons, I definitely advise to take both in order to progress. I finished my 3rd private lesson and I already can see how much I learned in such short notice.

I have been taking ballet classes for beginners for a while now at James & Alex Studios and I have to say that I simply absolutely love it!! I almost lost hope to find a proper studio that actually teaches ballet in Dubai before I heard about them! They have good prices for classes that comes along with a high quality teaching techniques!My ballet teacher Elena is definitely a master in ballet, she actually helped me improve gradually depending on my level and body status! She gives all the right comments and advice to each student in class! All thanks goes to her in improving my level as a ballerina!

Learning Salsa with Marina is fun.She is a great instructor, always shares new moves with clear guidance on how to break it down. The place is quiet nice, three spacious rooms for trainings, their rates are reasonable and their instructors are professionals. I have attended Salsa and Batchata classes with their best instructor “Marina” she is a really experienced and will ensure to build your steps from basics. Their aim is teaching dance not the money u pay.I strongly recommend this pace for all beginners.

Really enjoyed the Stretch & Fit session today with teacher Elena. Shes patient, focuses on individuals as well as the group at the same time and very encouraging. My daughter absolutely loves her Contemporary Dance class with teacher Carmel as well, with new moves learned every single time.

Before I visit dance studio know nothing about dancing but now after I catch with Salsa classes ,I am on my way to look like I know what I am doing on the dance floor!! The instructions are easy to follow. The instructor is energetic, enthusiastic and entertaining. Usually I just jump around with no rhyme or reason to my movements. This class encouraged me to get out on the dance floor with The salsa.music ,All in all ,I am having fun and after I get everything down to memory ,I am definitly going to get follow up more classes there

Its probably the best Salsa school in Dubai. I took the beginner Salsa courses here with Marina, she is absolutely amazing and really driled in good technique and then advanced to drop-in classes with James and Alex, they are really good both as dancers and as instructors. One thing that sets them apart is the focus on the actual technique of leading and following and less on styling and hand flourishing.

Very disappointed with the Salsa instructor. She mocks students for any mistakes instead of being supportive. I felt very uncomfortable, and more like a class in primary school instead of an adult session. Will be looking for other dance studios to learn Salsa.

Ive taken salsa courses here from beginning, first course (month) just learning steps and few moves, but in next level after about 2 month if you have practice just for 10mins every day (even alone with no partner), you can see your growth and doing some moves thas seems impossible in first-time you singed up for salsa! This studios learning method is really great, i recommend it to everyone who wants learn salsa
