This is general review about Teriyaki Boy food, staff, quality and price and in particular the newly opened branch in Deira City Center. Its not at the food court, its located at the first floor in restaurants area close to Axiom. The menu book, leaflet looked like the one you get from someone’s grave, of horrible condition and quality. Few Menu items to order from, the price was good and I have no complain on the food I received that day. The staff were passing orders to each other which resulted in huge delays getting the food. Pay attention to what you are paying for as the staff did not bother to inform me that I paid for starter, main course, drinks and sweets. The portion was acceptable if you are half full. they accept card payment without giving you the invoice. The food tends to be salty, the crew do not bother to give the guest what he needs by default, the guest needs to keep asking again and again. Not sure if they are trying to save money. The restaurant staff eat first and along with the guests as the staff change their shifts and in between.

I ordered chicken teriyaki bento and brownie for dessert. This is not the first time that I’ve been to this restaurant; the service has always been consistent and the taste of the food is above expectations. The quality is comparable to other well known Japanese restaurants but definitely their price is more affordable. The staff are all very accommodating but I’d like to highlight Luke and Jaco for making my overall experience very satisfactory. They are professional and warm.

Ive been here many times with my friends and All the time we felt satisfied with the foods and the team services . Special thanks to Ryan who always accommodated us with excellent services even the shop was very busy and thanks to the other staff as well . No doubt on coming back here again . :)

Ive been coming back to this restaurant so many times and it was one of the best teriyaki i have tasted they are one of the best and cheapest restaurant in the area with quality and service. Plus J-POP music.

Staffs in teriyaki boy al ghurair are very friendly and approachable. Even under mask. You can tell they are smiling. I love the service. Jonas isvery attentive to your needs. As well as francis. We had our dinner in teriyaki boy al ghurair and it was disaster! We never had a chance to enjoy our meal because the waiter or food runners keeps on coming to our table with a wrong food. It seems like they dont know their table numbering! Plus, the Yakisoba and chicken sisig was too salty, we sent it back the sisig to the waiter for replacement but noone came to our table to talk or to apologize! Jeez! Atleast tell us how many minutes we need to wait ya? Hence my mom end up hungry coz they gave us back her food and we are done eating! Again no apologies received until I approached the manager on duty. Nothing been compensated, he just been sorry because my mom didnt eat at all!! Unacceptable! 👎👎👎👎 service was so poor, all the staffs are NOT been trained professionally. I will not recommend this place 👎👎

It was our first time to dine here and we had a wonderful time even though the place were full packed and super busy. The staff informed us that once we have ordered it will take at least 30mns. But it came less than that and we were so grateful. The food is beyond exceptional and a reasonable price. We ordered the platter 59 with unlimited iced tea perfect for the two of us. We were absolutely taken care by Nicole & Fredz if I’m not mistaken. Despite that they are both busy but they really anticipate our needs and made an extra service. They are so attentive and paying attention to details. Best staff ever off course with the help of everyone Thank you for the great night. Nicole is good in proactively offering to refill the drinks. J.co is nice to provide greetings and bill payment. Food servers were nice and fast but no name plate... we had to ask for their names.Overall experience is nice. Al ghurair team is one of the best.

First time dining here and I got surprised that their meals are not-so expensive.. Got this super bowl beef teriyaki meal for only 15dhs. Meal has good taste too.Just need to work on the speed of service.

Go to Japanese cuisine in the city! The food is amazingly affordable but authentic. My favorite is their Ramen and steak. Service is also superb, thanks to Mr Carl and Anna who gave us a good service 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

All employee is good except for one service crew ( girl - with long color hair ) we asked for extra rice and it took 15 mins but she did not serve 🥺 very bad.

Although the food is very good we have a very disappointing scene yesterday night 26 June 2021 to be exact,yesterday me and my friend ate there after our work for dinner and as I finished my food but im still enjoying my iced tea one of their staff approach us to get my plate and while my friend is still eating and not yet finished we are surprise that the staff still ask him if he can get also my friends plate which is not very good to hear, he is still eating thats not good to hear that from your staff we still have our food and not yet finish eating ,I think the management should need to train more their staff to learn to wait when their customer is fully finish eating before taking or asking if he can clean the table....
