Outstanding food, very friendly staff, and great ambiance.Been visiting Wokyo for over 6 years now and its hand down been the best place for Wok in Dubai. There is a ton of variety, with each item being unique and flavourful. The prices are a little on the high side, but worth it for the quality of food you get. The ambiance is something else though. Modeled off of a Japanese street food kind of atmosphere, its just so nice dining here. The string lights, wooden benches, and outdoor fans make it possible to dine outdoors (at night) even during the August heat. Anyone looking for Wok in Dubai should definitely try Wokyo.

Mark was amazing, kind and overall the best. He is one of the reasons I keep coming back. Him and the rest of the staff treat the customers right and thats what separates this place from the rest. Thoughtful service, and fancy spot in JLT but I didn’t like the food that much.So they gave me little cup of *cold* red tea while I was waiting for my order. The staff told me it’s their “welcoming tea”. The tea was refreshing :)Sapporo Ramen was OK. It was a bit salty for me. If they have put more protein, less salt, less oil, then I would probably get it again. 😁Matcha Ice Cream was delicious and satisfying especially during summer. However, I feel it is overpriced.Overall, I didn’t regret coming here. I’ll come back *maybe* for the free tea, and matcha ice cream!

My husband is not a fun of Japanese food, but this shop is one of few that he really likes.The food is very clean and fresh, in addition to tasty of course. They used to have only few side dishes, now they have much more options. Crispy lotus chips is very unique and delicious. Their chicken gyoza is super juice, not the typical packed frozen dumplings.As for noodles, there are so many ways to mix them. Our favorite indulging Miso Sapporo Ramen with meat broth, Wok fried udon with black paper sauce and beef, and Laksa.Their mochi is nice too, not very sweet.

Cute place with super friendly staff and creative options!!! I had the soba noodles with the Jakarta sauce and chicken. Only complaint would be that there was wayyyy too much sauce and hardly any toppings/mix ins so that kind of made for a rather bland dish. That being said, the flavours were good, the ambience was good, and I really enjoyed my visit. Gets busy on a Friday night so come earlier if you can!

The place there is like you traveled to japan when you enter the place you will find the comics characters on the wall everywhere and the staff there were so nice and helpful especially if this is your first time they will guide you step by step and they will make sure that everything is perfect as you expected and the ramen there was amazing like the one that my wife had in japan so nice and delicious every bit was amazing I love the place and the ramen next time I will try the stir-fried noddles.

Very delicious, but not super super authentic. They put some ginger in the soup which is unique, and the noodles are properly cooked. And they made the space like little japan. That’s why I guess there’re more foreigners than Japanese. Could find many local people bcz of the region too.

We found this place 3 years ago and ever since this has been our go to place for Ramen.We always order their Miso and Shoyu Ramen. It is so yum and the flavor has been consistent all through the years. The portion/serving is huge also. Price is not that cheap but for its portion and compare to other Japanese restaurants it is already at a competitive price given the portion and taste. We have tried their Laksa we didnt like it much. Its not bad but were not a fan of it.Our go to dessert after a huge hot bowl of ramen is their Macha Ice Cream!The ambience is great and the design is nice for both indoor and outdoor seating. They also have some Japanese arts and crafts and some board games to keep you occupied while waiting for the food or even while having it. There is a basket beside the table to place your belongings. You can see also how your food is being made since kitchen has a glass wall which could be entertaining as well.Customer service is good very welcoming, nothing to complain about. When you go there all staff will shout a welcome greeting in Japanese language and also when your leaving which is quite fun :)

Vegetarian and non vegetarian options are available as well as a range of spicy to non spicy sauces for you to make your bowl just the way you like it. Outdoor and indoor seating, with a lovely view of the lake. Easy to get to from the metro station, about a 7 minute walk.

Been to the far east many times, this place reminds me of those days, this japanese inspired place is perfect for lunch or dinner scenes. Menu is quite straight forward with tasting options available before ordering your food. We got to taste different sauce base for our ramen bowl. One can also customize their noodles according to their taste.fresh berry ice cream was something new for me. Will visit again definitely.

The place is nice it gives you the japanese vibe, staffs are friendly but I hope they guide their costumers a lot more better. I am aware that most Ramen Noodle soups have this distinct saltiness but my order was too salty I was unable eat even half of it. There are other restaurants who serve ramen way better than Wokyo with more affordable price.

The best ramen in Dubai, I usually order the spicy sapporo ramen. The broth is super fresh and the noodles are just perfect. I get an order of K pop chicken to go with it. The ultimate comfort meal.

Tried their glass noodles with Tokyo sauce and loved it. My officemates ordered udon noodles with Jakarta sauce and they loved it as well. Will definitely be back to try other variety of sauces. Our food was cooked upon order so it’s fresh when served; a few minutes of wait was worth it. The resto staffs were attentive and respectful to their guests. One staff even visited our table twice to check how was our food. And I love that the restaurant set-up is comfy and homely.

Came across this noodle joint by chance while on an online ramen craving search. The restaurant is neatly tucked under one of the JLT residential clusters and offers both indoors and outdoors seating. The menu is noodle centric and you are given the choice of having your own custom made noodle bowl or two types of ramen. I went for the spicy miso ramen with chicken and was not disappointed! The broth was light yet full of umami, the noodles were perfectly cooked and the condiments including the chicken were delicious! I also had a side of chicken gyoza but while tasty found the dish overpriced at aed22 for three pieces. The restaurant also offers a few more side dishes including fried chicken and spring rolls as well as desserts such as mochi and soft serve ice cream.Highly recommended and looking forward to visiting it again to try more noodle options!

The menu has variation of sauces for your noodles which you can try while ordering at the counter ( tasting all kinds of sauce is a extreme delight ) after lot of taste confusion We ordered1) The shanghai sauce , egg noodles with chicken - 5/52) Shoyu ramen in spicy miso broth - 4/53)The chicken panko ( sides ) -3/54) Moshi moshi - 3/55) Berry Aisu - 5/5The Noodles with Shanghai was amazing - the sauce was unbelievable, very flavorful and smokey flavor.Ramen was great too , too many flavors at once which given you that extra edgeAlso loved the fresh berry icecream made on the spot - Moshi moshi is a sweet rice cake traditional delicacy which can be given a pass. Lets talk about it in general:Location:JLT so it was far away from the traffic with a good walk way near by the restaurant.View:from inside the restaurant you can feel the Japanese traditional setting with their own sitting tables.From out side they have a good lake view.Restaurant and staff:well cleaned and organized tables,staff was friendly and helpful and they answered all my questions, a good atmosphere.Food and price:food was really yummy, I cant compare the price because this is the first Tokyo traditional restaurant I was sitting in.

Wokyo, I love the name of this restaurant. The food is amazing. The service is excellent. People are friendly. You can walk in JLT after having a delicious noodle bowl. Try the Japanese soda. It took me a while to figure out how to open it. It tasted good. I highly recommend this place. Do not hesitate going here.

The restaurant gives you plenty of options to custamise your noodle dishes and conbines many delisous asian flavours to give you an authentic experience. Also, unlike other restaurants Wokyo is full of games and fun activites to try with freinds. Personally I think Wokyo is the best restaurant in Dubai and I would highly recommend it!

I love Wokyo! Its an uncomplicated place for lunch or dinner and the guys are super friendly. Just pop in & order at the counter. Everythings clearly labelled and its easy to order a vegan noodle bowl. You can customize everything (which noodles, which ingredients, etc.) and you can watch them cook it, so you always know what youre getting.Its not expensive and you never wait longer than 10 minutes for your meal. The restaurant also sells a few Japanese food items & ingredients for those who like to cook at home.

I tried their Japanese miso ramen. It is not too bad as it is difficult to find authentic Japanese ramen here anyway but I expected more. I hope the soup has more chicken flavour and add more and not overcooked bean sprouts. The staff are attentive and try to help you with ordering.
