What I liked about Lucy is that she was very transparent in the whole process and she was always keeping me informed with the progress. She started the right way by the signing the legal form so she can advertise and help in selling my unit vs others who signed on my behalf or posted the unit without the form or approving them to do so. She also went beyond her responsibility after the sale happened. She kept tracking the sale/mortgage of the buyer. I had big trust in her as she was always giving me the right updates. Since the first contact I’ve always had to chase the agents and the service has been very poor. The agency fee was more than 10% and the value gotten from it was near to zero. Absolutely no assistance in setting up dewa, ejari and internet. I’ve been promised that some furniture would have been changed and nothing was done.

I wish I could give our agent more than 5 stars - Cade Jenkins was such a pleasure to deal with through the sale of our Dubai Hills property. The apartment was tenanted through the sale, so it was important to us to work with an agent who is professional, personable, and respectful to minimize any disturbance to the tenants. He was so patient and did such a good job coordinating viewings to fit the tenant’s schedule and was so prompt giving us feedback and updates every week. Most importantly, we really felt that he did an exceptional job at acting fairly and in the best interest for both us and the buyers which I know is not easy to do. Allsopp as a company was also strong in providing a great marketing platform and gave us top visibility on all of the property search portals. The only negative critique I have is that the conveyancing team is not as communicative as we would like and take several days to respond to messages which is not ideal. Outside of that, excellent experience and would highly recommend Cade to anyone looking to buy or sell in Dubai Hills.

I saw an apartment for sale I liked through Allsopp & Allsopp. I called the broker in charge, Darren Purdon, and asked how much i could get off the asking price. He was straight forward and said Id had to pay asking price. I was told there were a number of interested parties. Since I live in Singapore I had no chance to see it myself, so i sent a fried to view it 3 hours after my phone call. In the meantime i had told Darren (the agent) ill pay the asking price subject to successful viewing 3 hours later. I was sent the paper work within an hour. I read thru the contract and signed same immediately after my friend had given positive feed back on the viewing. I transferred the deposit from my bank same evening and the next day i had a signature from the seller. So thanks to Darren i was able to close this deal fast by stepping up paying the asking price, sending deposit and signing the contract same day. The balance of the process was very fast and simple with the help of Darren and his colleague Mark Woodside who did the final contract work. All very professional and I can highly recommend using this Estate Broker.

Buying a property should be a joyful memory and Allsopp & Allsopp made it a real nightmare..Everything looked professional until the moment they got the signature and the checks. After that, they behaved like they couldnt care less- They dont follow the standard Dubai Land Department contract. They make their own amendment to it, which has abusive clauses to their best interest. Others in the industry dont do so.- Sales progression team, an absolute disaster. They didnt start the NOC process with the developer on time, which delayed the signature 2 weeks. Stating that the NOC is only valid for 5 days.. Afterwards I realized the NOC is actually valid for a whole month.- Delays on the signature even after the bank managers check had been provided, leaving you without the property and the money for several days.- They didnt even hand over the keys and access cards the day of the property transfer, and had to chaise them for days to get them.I would not recommend anyone to deal with them, it was a real nightmare of process. They were not professional after they got the checks.

It was first time experience with Real State Agency in UAE , I have Caine across their representative Mr Tom, who has really make me feel his professional, friendly, and perfect business approach while searching and making me view property at any scheduled time irrespective of whether morning, afternoon or evening rime of any day in week irrespective of whether it was on working day or holiday ans whether it was off duty or on duty. He has also taken always taken care and personal interest as if I was not his client but as a personal FREIND and have taken special efforts to explain me about any clause of contract drawn by their company in conformity with UAE Laws on real state mark.Personally I will again try to request him to assist me as and when required to be. I wish him to prosper in his life and meet me as CEO of some Real State Company.

Unresponsive agents, have contacted a particular agent several times but they do not seem interested. Unfortunately, unprofessional agencies are the norm here rather than the exception.

British estate agents are supposed to be the most professional in the world because they should have experienced a very strict regulatory system in The United Kingdom which is actually policed whereas in Dubai it is like The Wild West. Come on guys, clean your act up and do not stoop so low as to write your own reviews.
