Went for the adult workshop on Saturday and the 2.5 hrs passed by so quickly! We really enjoyed the workshop, and for someone who doesnt draw at all, I was very happy with the outcome. Our teacher was also very kind, patient and giving us the space to learn and make mistakes. I recommend!

The Jam jar has been one of the best places to discover so far this year! It’s located in the main art hub of Dubai, Serkal Avenue. It’s so lively and has a wonderful team! One of my best friends teaches art classes there (the beauty in the pics). These classes are so therapeutic and easy going. It is exactly what you need to do on a Saturday morning before starting the thrill and rush of a new working week. They offer a variety of packages which you can check on their website. They offer classes, events, birthday parties, pet adoption days.. etc. As part of the classes you get the canvas and a free flow supply of paint. One of the amazing things about them is they recycle the colors that are left from classes so sometimes the color you are straining to achieved is already mixed in a small container waiting for you to pick it up! it’s such lovely place to be and something I look forward to every Saturday morning! Make sure to go check them out on their social media platforms. Last but not least, they may seem a bit pricy and hopefully in the future they can share some options for memberships. My experience was very bad with the place, I am a professional artist with more than 25 years in art business, I run an art studio back in Holland therefore I know exactly what Im talking about!I dont recommend this place for serious artistsits all about money and appearances and it is anything but an art related, when you go to an artistic space just for creativity and art you expect to find at least a receptionist that have a little knowledge or interest in art whatsoever, or at least to be less detestable, but no!I think theyre a living example of the wrong person at the wrong place

My fav place to unleash my inner Picasso, lol. Not an artist but I enjoy the vibes of this place, makes me wants to paint and embrace the moment. We have attended one of the painting sessions they had on Saturdays, ended up with a beautiful painting “anyone can actually paint”!

Wonderful studio for painting options. They are providing canvas, oil and water paints with packages of one or two hours. I visited here many occasions and had wonderful experiences and made paintings to give satisfaction of inner artist.

Weve been here twice in the space of 2 years. Its a really fun, nice, funky environment. Just let the kids do their thing. We have also been here after Covid, we found it very clean and considerate with new savety procedures in place.They also used to be in the entertainer that made things more affordable, they do however have a different kind of voucher so be sure to check that out with them as it offers unlimited visits instead of 3 via entertainer.

I didnt like the service, bad reception, and very expensive, and Im not motivated to go back! Such a waste of a possibly great studio

This place was so much fun, we had a great time! It really allows you to be creative and shut off from the outside world. Would recommend anyone to try this no matter the age.

I stumbled upon Jamjar accidentally on a Friday stroll in Alserkal Avenue, and Im so happy I did.Just painting and experimenting with colors was the loveliest way to spend a Friday afternoon. I was so happy to see so many families and couples going together.Its safe to say that I wont be quitting my day job to become a painter, but Ill definitely be coming back to try again.

Bad experience especially with the receptionist shes unfriendly, resentful with no artistic background, shes giving a bad impression to the visitors and to the artists, also bad service high hourly rate makes you feel its all about the money, you cant spend much time on your work because youll be focused on time you need to leave

This is a great place to use acrylic paints offered by thejamjar and then you sit in front of an easel and paint on a purchased canvas.

Seriously cool facility for beginners.

Loved the place. Had heard about this from a friend. Though was not prepared for what met the eye. Such a great way to make use of the space /industrial shed. The choice of restaurants the various art gallery were superb. The car showroom the Japanese Arabic fusion food something completely different..a much better place to visit in winter when the weather is going to be better.

Great creative hub for painting.We had a Team building Event there and it was lots of fun and great. Totally different than the usual corporate Team Building Options and noone would expect that much fun from painting if you have never done so before since school.The Team is great and they put a lot of effort in accomodating your company wishes and adapt to your Company/Brand etc.Everybody loves it and we were all ages between 30 and 60.

I cannot say enough good things about Jam jar. I have known and visited this place since it opened in 2006. Even if you not discovered your talent, you will definitely find you artistic brush and me time there. This is also my sons first steps in painting and the idea of just messing around with colors and getting all messy without a care in the world its every childs wish. The staff is extremely helpful and enthusiastic. Always ready to serve with a smile. In all its just a fantastic place for friends and families.

This is a great place not only for art lovers but for families also who want to spent time together doing something different than usual. I went there with my family including my 3 yr old granddaughter, we all painted a few canvases and enjoyed a lot. Its like filling colours of joy in our family. Highly recommended for people with a little inclination towards art and colours

Such a lovely day with my little one (2 years old) this morning! Its was the first time and I will come back for sure! There are so many activities for all ages and the team is lovely. I really recommend for the kids and teenagers doing their art development at thejamjar.

I have had the pleasure to visit this warm and light filled space both as a mom with my child and as a Workshop facilitator. Both times I was struck by the warmth and kindness of all the staff and their passion for get peoples hands busy and colourful. This is a special studio where one can find their way to play into their creativity with ease. Highly recommend it!

Being an intern at thejamjar is amazing if you are an Art lover! I have had a great experience working with every department within the business. There have been challenges that have taught me new skills and Ive done things that I never expected to be doing but nevertheless I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it!

This place would be an artists favourite place. Allows you to paint at your leisure. Plenty of space. Rents space for painting sessions. This place hosts painting events. Also, it offers to host birthday parties for kids. Parking is quite limited and difficult to find.

Thejamjar is my sons and my happy place. We come here quite regularly to paint together. Hes only three but he really loves to experiment with colours and textures. And I love to see him get creative (without the mess in our living room ;-)). Definitely a unique place here in Dubai!

Its a fantastic environment for kids and adults to spend time painting and even integrating other arts in their paintings. Its located in AlSerkal Avenue where you can walk into several art exhibitions and eat some of the healthiest food in Dubai, network with fellow artists. Plenty of workshops for kids and adults alike. I just feel theres so much more that could done to become a real attraction.

Thejamjar is an ideal place to relax honestly, Im currently an intern in thejamjar and its so peaceful to do your work and the atmosphere is really chill that you feel like you have nothing to worry about. Enrolled my 4 years old son in a canvas musical but was unfortunately canceled due to low signed ups. We walked in anyway to check out the place and for him to do some painting. We enjoyed the experience and the staff were kind. Was the highlight of the day.

The also have painting packages for the entire family - Lots of fun and very interactive creative learning experiences. I registered my children for a course following the instructions on the website one week before the course date. The website indicated that the course was not yet full. I received no communication back. When I called just to double check on the day of the course, they said we were not registered because the course was full over a month ago. I told them this would create disappointment for the kids and an inconvenience in our weekend schedule.They called me back in less than 30 minutes saying they will fit us in.Of course more organization is needed but the initiative is great, the people are wonderful and they truly understand customer service.Thank you jam jar!❤️

I had a great time expressing my self throw painting , very creative place .

During my internship at thejamjar I have helped my colleagues in many different ways such as data entry, studio work, help sourcing materials for events and assisting in marketing by spreading the word and reaching out to clients at thejamjar. Overall my experience was very good as i learnt how to adjust to the expectations of this workplace.

Great space and great idea but they do not actually allow you to paint at your leisure, which is extremely offputting. You buy the canvas and have a limited time to paint on it. So we were told we only get one hour and then you have to pay another 45 AED per hour per person after that! Tick Tock! Its such a shame because you feel rushed and it completely put me off. This seems to be a new policy as the last time I came you really could paint at your leisure. Now youre on a conveyor belt.

What I like about jamjar that they are working to give the opportunity for everyone to bring that artist inside, reach the creativity that had been dusted by life stress. besides that they teach academically where its rarely to find an institution goes academically in Dubai. People are warm and welcoming, Its where a person feels home.

Great place for arts and craft!

Having been apart of various workshops at thejamjar as a facilitators assistant; being able to witness the liveliness of its atmosphere was quite a memorable experience. The DIY studio and creative learning aspect held various different workshops where one could engage and participate!

I attended several workshops at thejamjar this month. They were very informative and I had a lot of fun! I am looking forward to joining their Art Academy program in September.

We had such a fabulous time celebrating our daughters 4th birthday at the Jamjar. What a stunning and special venue. Herself and 20 friends had the whole big studio for themselves, and their own easel and 2 paintings to unless their inner artists for 2 hours. We sorted out our own food and cake (that kept the costs down!), and used their lovely paint splattered tables and stools which made the whole look of the party so cool as well. The team were so nice, helping us set up everything and making sure the the kids were all happy, without intruding at all. All in all the perfect party! Thanks to the Jamjar team!

I had the chance to give one of my Arabic Calligraphy workshops at thejamjar, I really enjoyed it there, huge space with cosy atmosphere, it was one of my great moments, if anyone want to have a creative experience, I recommend this place to everyone, I hope you will enjoy it.

I took my child Miller to the Summer Camp. Miller had a fantastic time so much so that now we have art supplies all over the house as each day she wants to take all she learnt from The JamJar and apply it at home. She learned a great deal from The JamJar and I am grateful to the wonderful people that made this experience so enjoyable for Miller.

This studio presents opportunities to explore your creative aspirations in a well managed environment with excellent instructors.

One of the first DIY place in Dubai, perfect for children to gain self-confidence, express themselves and make new friends! If you dont know what to do in the weekend just go there :)
