We had the joy of experiencing evening desert safari with Arabian Adventures. The company was top shelf. They treated us royally; and time and money spent were well worth it. On our 28th anniversary, we enjoyed the dune bashing, sunset, sand boarding, and evening of entertainment. It was the best 8 hours spent on totally fun activities. I cant say enough about Timothy our driver and guide. He was outstanding. He took interest in us and asked us interesting questions. He was also very responsive to our questions. He knew we were there on our anniversary, so he captured many of our moments taking some of the best pictures. If I have the occasion to vacation in Dubai again, I will make it a point to do an overnight safari, with the same company. They were top notch in everything they did

Just got back to the UKThanks to Tariq for setting this up, especially as everything was last minuteA real special thanks goes to our guide Ali.He made the whole experience really fun, took us to great spots for pictures, showing off his true sand dune driving skills and great conversation. The camel ride was fun and the quad biking (extra charge) was allot of fun. (note they had a separate track and smaller bikes for my 7 year old). There were 3 bikes small, medium for my 11/13 years old kids and adults which you can seat 2 people.Love it and the tour guide Ali was prompt on pick up

Amazing trip! The dune buggies were crazy and much faster than we thought they would go. The guys there were great and activity of boarding also cool. The dune bashing was cool too in the car that took us there! The evenings entertainment was brilliant too, lovely range of food and dancers were incredible. Can’t rate or rave enough about the whole experience, definitely recommend to all

We booked a desert safari with Ivan on the Concierge Desk of the Anantara before we arrived (who by the way was wonderfully helpful). We decided on an afternoon departure with Royal Mirage. Our driver/guide Nasser was first class. The 4x4 comfortably took the 5 of us. We started with a visit to the Camel race track and saw some of the animals been exercised (we had no idea the track was so long or they didn’t have jockeys). Then it was on to the dune bashing which Nasser was an expert at. This involved stopping for some “sand boarding” which was enjoyed by all and the a further stop for some sunset photos. The next stop was quad biking (which was an extra paid at the venue but a real highlight for our 3 boys). Finally we had a stop for dinner in the desert where the food was surprisingly very good. The kids got henna tattoos, a ride on a camel and the show wasn’t bad at all. Definitely a must on a visit to Dubai and Royal Mirage/Nasser made it all the more enjoyable.

We booked this trip with Meeting Point in the Westin hotel. The person at the reception, I think his name was Sheya, was very supportive and provided many important information about the event. We had a private car for the four of us. Our driver Ali was fantastic. Very nice guy, and a great clean car. We loved the desert Bashing! Also the buffet and the events in the camp were excellent, however you have to pay extra for a longer Camel ride or Sand Buggy driving. The Camp is a little touristic and full of people. Booking the VIP area is therefore recommended. Better food and much calmer!Seeing the sun going down in the desert is unforgettable.I can fully recommend this trip for families. My son (12) and my daughter (15) loved it.

As we were in Dubai, we did not want to miss a safari in the desert. It was wonderful, starting with some drifts through the sand, continuing with the hena painting, photos with the local clothes, good meal, beautiful night show, camel ride, all in all we have had an excellent time! It is not expensive, we paid 840 AED for two. Trust me, it is worth your while. Do not hesitate to do it while in Dubai!

If you have never been in this region that you should see dessert and sand and you must do a safari tour. This is an around 5 hour tour, i booked with Rayan Tours they picked us up with a SUV at the hotel in the afternoon 3pm and for 40-50 min arrived in the dessert, there was an opportunity to take bikes and drive them in the sand (extra charge), photo with Falcon (extra charge). From there moved in to the wild of the dessert through the sand for 20 min ups and down and then moved to the camp in the middle of the dessert. At the camp entrance we tried Camel round 5 min included in the price (photo with Camel extra charge). Then moved inside where we could have drinks (tea, water, soda) and bbq dinner and watch a dance show, fire show and belly dance show all included in the price. in the camp you have bathroom and some shops if you are interested to buy souvenirs.

We booked through our hotel. The driver collected us at the hotel and we headed for the desert, with a stop in an area with quads. We hired one, rode for some 30min, on dunes, with many other quaders. headed then to the desert experiencing dune bashing with the 4x4, on the way - cool experience but I suffer from car sickness, so should have told the driver to take it easy. The camp we arrived at served local food, yumm! Its designed as a traditional camp with carpets, we sat around tables, on cushions and carpets. The show: belly dancer, male dancer - simple but entertaining

Holy smokes! What a wicked good time we had today at the Desert Safari in Dubai! My family and I had such a blast! Muhammad Anwar from Gateway Tours picked us up at the hotel in a 2015 Toyota Land Cruiser. It was super clean and looked almost brand new. Then we headed out to the desert where he stopped and to let some air out of his tires before we proceeded to do some serious dune bashing! What a wild ride! It was awesome! Muhammad stopped off and took a few pics of us on the dunes. Then we headed off to the camp. There was a ton of cool stuff to do there. We did a little dune surfing right off the bat. Then we took some pics in tradition Arabian clothes (free) and I snagged a photo op with a falcon for a couple bucks too. We decided against camel rides since wed just done it in Cairo a couple days before. But it was there to do and free of charge included with our package. Horse riding was an extra charge I think, and so was the ATVs. But most everything else was free with the package. In fact So were refreshments and snacks so we grabbed some and then headed over to have some sheesha. Now this is included too, but only one flavor and only after 6pm. We had some time to kill so we paid the small fee and they kept it coming for the rest of the night. The dinner show was pretty amazing. Especially the fire twirling guy! That guy was incredible! The food was really good and there was plenty of it! All in all we had a really good time and I would definitely recommend Gateway Tours and the Desert Safari!

One of the best company for dubai safari tours and much more Enjoy dune bashing to its full extent with a trip to the red dune desert, which is also called Al Hamar. The main reason why this desert is famous for dune bashing is because of its 53 desert dunes which are as high as 300 feet, allowing for a great ride! The dune bashing trip is done in a 4 X 4 vehicle, which while thrilling, is completely safe as these vehicles are driven by expert and professional drivers.

We went to Dubai desert safari in Nov 2019. It is a good time as the weather is lot cooler during this time. We had a hotel pick up at 3.00 pm to the destination. It is almost an hour drive from Dubai city.Your first stop would be in a place where you can do local shopping, take pictures with falcon and do desert bike rides. The bike rides are expensive starting from 150 AED. After a 45 mins stop we were taken to a sunset point place to take some snaps. Then came the exhilarating SUV sand rides. It was fun to get bounced on the sand dunes! Post that we were taken to tents where we had a short camel rides and complimentary drinks and starters. There were some activities which we could do like dress up like locals etc. There were 3 performances, all were good. We were then served with dinner, the food was ok, not that great. All in all an evening well spent. We returned to our hotel at around 8.30 pm.

This is complicated as there appears to be hundreds of independent contractors who own their own vehicles but work for various booking agents. These then take groups to various desert activities and then gather for desert barbecues and shows. Our driver Khalil was excellent (booked through Sundowner Desert Safari) picked up at the hotel at 2:45 and thenpicked up others. We had three couples and got along well. Went to a quad park where for an extra fee could rent a quad for 30 minutes. Then to the sand dunes for some wild rides and sunset in the desert -unfortunately it was overcast but still got great pictures - Khalil was excellent and set them up. We then headed to a desert camp for entertainment and dinner - all were fine. Arrived back at hotel at 9:45 -it was a good evening - paid 200 dirham.

We stopped over in Dubai for New Year after visiting family in the UK and were told about several things to do whilst in Dubai - one of them being the desert safari!! We were only here for 3 full days and wanted to choose wisely. What a choice we made.It was unbelievable!!!We arranged the trip through our hotel for the day of New Years eve. We were picked up bang on time at 3pm (which is always a good indication) by our driver/guide, who although driving a bit erratically, was very friendly, spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. We headed out of the city to a local market where you had the opportunity to drive a quad bike for an additional fee. It looked a bit chaotic and very unorganized. Here the driver prepared the vehicle for the dune bashing by deflating the air pressure in the tyres. Opportunity to buy drinks, snacks etc. Expect locals to hard sell headscarves etc...We set off after about 30 mins. The driver put on a music CD which really added to the atmosphere and proceeded to travel in a small group over the sand dunes, throwing us around inside which we all found hilarious.Once finished, we headed up the highway to a staging area where we got a quick 2 minute camel ride before we were seated in an outdoor bazaar for a hour or sos entertainment, belly dancing and fire breathing act. We got a snack and then buffet style meal(very limited choices however and very traditional). Soft drinks were free but other alcoholic drinks were extra obviously. At the end of the show, our guide was waiting and took us back to the hotel for 8.30pm. Views of the sunset in the desert were something else.Highly recommended for all

Great opportunity to see the desert and actually try something ArabicDesert safari turned out to be a great getaway from Dubais overwhelming concrete. You get to see the desert, sunset and try something truly Arabic. We have been picked up at our hotel. In my opinion the success of your trip depends a lot on your driver - but we were lucky. Our driver was actually an excellent host. Some parts of the trip were dull and boring - but lets be honest - it has to cater to all types of people. The good thing was that the car was filled with water bottles in almost every pocket - something you will definitely need after sandboarding ;)For me the worst/most boring parts were:- the first stop where you can drive a buggy/ATV - it was also filled with salesmen pushing you stuff (both are boring in my opinion)- camel ride (I feel sorry for the camels)- when they switch off the light at the desert camp you expect to see the stars & co - but that was a let down in my caseWhat definitely stayed in my memories:- the desert itself - its really special + the magical feeling of the sand- seeing the sunset at the desert- dune bashing + sandboarding- food was great at the camp- belly dancing (OMG!)- water pipe + snacks (for the first time in Dubai I drank _GOOD_ Arabic coffee with cardamon and local snacks)All in all it was definitely worth going and I would recommend this trip. Make sure you get the 7-hour one. Even though we had 7 hours the time is passing so quickly (and they count it door-to-door, meaning transport time is INCLUDED in the 7 hours)

Our group of 6 were picked up from our hotel by our driver who stayed with us all afternoon/evening. We were then taken about 30 minutes out into the desert to an area where people could have camel rides, dune buggy and quad bike rides etc (for a fee) and there was also a small supermarket and toilet facilities. It seemed to just be a general meeting point for all the desert safari companies. From there we met the rest of the vehicles travelling in our group before heading off on a 45 minute dune bash. Im not the greatest thrillseeker and I felt quite safe. It was nice though that we were travelling with a group of friends and not with a group of strangers. We then stopped to take in the sunset over the desert while the drivers put air back into their tyres and then we headed to a camp area to enjoy our buffet dinner and show. Non alcoholic drinks were all included but we just about died when we enquired the cost of alcohol. A bottle of white wine started at $100USD or $20 for a small plastic cup....and there was no sample of choice. After walking off they kept bartering and brought it back to $50USD but with our Aussie conversion it was still ridiculous. The show was excellent, the food mediocre...but overall it was a fun afternoon/evening which you really must do when there.

Just got back from the desert safari with Ocean air...prior to choosing them I watched many YouTube reviews and chose them because they had the most activities for the best price. We were picked up on time and were taken to a central location where we paid an extra 200 durahms for a two seater quad bike. There are vendors selling the Arabian scarf but be aware you still have to wear a helmet on the quad bike. They had quad cars too I guess you had to pay more to use those. They had kid quads too.The quad ride was fun but be aware that the quad circuit is lawless and can be dangerous so ride with care. Still my partner had fun! Then it was on to dune bashing which was scary fun. Our tour guide Siddick was AMAZING!!! He showed us a good time and made us feel safe! Sand boarding was good fun but hard work!! There were plenty of opportunities for pictures and Siddick took great pics of us.At the camp we were able to feed baby camels, ride grown camels, hold a falcon, dress in traditional clothing, buy souvenirs, personalized jewelry, buy clothing, and the food was ok (I am not a foodie) and plentiful. The fire thrower, the guy who spun for 15 minutes straight, and the belly dancing was also entertaining. And in the end the last five minutes of quiet star gazing was for me an awesome end to the day...Thanks to Siddick our amazing guide...we had a great day/evening....Ocean air gives the best experience for a reasonable price!!

A chance to do sand buggy rides. Then jeep sand dunes safari driven by Aziz, a thrilling journey. After to the camp. Where you could ride a camel, get a henna tattoo, dress up in local dress for fun, and have your photo with a falcon. The food was varied and very good quality for the volume produced. The show was entertaining and of 3 parts which had something for everyone. Truly a fabulous day out which we would recommend. Especially with this guy. Aziz

We booked this Safari in the U.K. before travelling to Dubai. The process was very easy with excellent communication via WhatsApp.Our tour guide for the day was Abbas and, from the minute he picked us up at our hotel, his professionalism and enthusiasm was superb. The sand dune bashing was exhilarating but we all felt very safe. We spent a while in the dunes and Abbas took action photos which he sent to us via WhatsApp. The day finished off with an excellent barbecue and entertainment at a Bedouin camp in the desert. We would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this tour to potential guests. Thank you Saifco and Abbas for a superb day.
