At Hili Archaeological Park, archaeologists have excavated finds dating back to the Bronze and Iron ages.Although many casual visitors will struggle to comprehend the site, which consists of Umm Al Nar period tombs, archaeology fiends will enjoy the vast sense of history here.It is mostly because of the important discoveries found here that Al Ain has been inscribed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.The park lies amid a protected area. Most of the finds from the site are on display at Al Ain National Museum, which does a great job of putting the site into context.Address: Aroh al Jaw Street, Al Ain

Hili Archaeological Park is an amazing combination of archaeological sites and a park for walking.Perfectly clean green park, in which some archaeological sites are located in open access. One of the main monuments is the Great Tomb in Hili. Her age is more than 4000 years, diameter is 12 meters, and height is not less than 4 meters. In the mid-1970s, it was restored. In ancient times it was covered with a roof.Next to the Great Tomb is the site of Hili 1, once upon a time there was a tower of clay brick, the height of which would be several meters. It was excavated in the 1960s by Danish archaeologists. A thick round wall was discovered, inside which there were several rooms, in the center of which was a well. Today we can only see the foundation of this building. All structures found in Healy are dated back to 3000 BC. until 2000 BC.

We stepped back in time to the traditions of the 16th century with the carefully recreated Arabian village which depicted the home life of the day, including cooking utensils, farming tools and the Al Yazrah irrigation system. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit to the heritage site. It was a part of our tour in Furjah & the dancing by the locals in their costumes was entertaining .

Hili archaeological park, located in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, which is discovered by Danish archaeologists and constructions are dated BC 2000-2500 during bronze age period and Iron Age Period. also the park is wast area for hangout with family, kids can enjoy and parents can relax.Hili is the largest Bronze Age site in the UAE and dates from the 3rd millennium BCE. Other remains include settlements, tombs, and a falaj dating from the Iron Age. Some of the site is located outside the park in a protected area. Finds from the site can be seen in the Al Ain National Museum in central Al Ain. We visited here with a rental car from Abu Dhabis AUH. The lovely parkland surrounding this Bronze Age(3rd C BC) settlement/tombs is used for recreation/picnics by the residents far more than visitors seeking archeological information. The recreated Grand Tomb along with the bases of 2 others show how this community treated ancestral burials, while the settlement ruins show very little. The Al Ain Nat Mus displays hundreds of artifacts(stone vessels, pottery, beads, etc) found here and bring the actual site to life. The cool tranquil Hili Oasis which has been cultivated for 4000 years is 2km southwest. We drove into the maze of narrow lanes inspecting the canals and finding a large mud brick ruins. All 3 sites as a package are very worthwhile.

Located on the northern side of Al Ain, this peaceful archaeological park and public garden was one of the stops in our itinerary during an organized tour of the UAE and Oman. Vestiges of a settlement and tombs dating back more than 4000 years are in evidence, particularly the Great Hili Tomb, whose two entrances are decorated with carvings of humans and oryx.
