This 1200 hectare oasis is located in the center of Al Ain city; Which makes it the largest Al Ain Oasis in terms of area. The farmers there tend more than 147,000 date palms of nearly 100 different species, in addition to fodder crops and fruit trees, such as mango, orange, banana, fig and jujube (known locally as Sidr). The individual plots of land are separated from each other by historical walls.

A beautiful dates farm which is located at Al Ain, in Abudhabi UAE. Prepare for around 2 hrs to spend under the cool shade of palm tree and feel fresh air. Enjoy the nature sounds like birds, water etc. Its completely peace and calm place . Once you visit there you will be definitely wishing to visit again and again. Not much crowded and there is no entry fees so better go with family or friends together.its really something different when you bored of the city life. Those who face difficulties while walking can hire cycles at the entrance, but try to go for walk. Dont forget to take water along side. You can find the decent parking space. Recommend to visit in morning time.

An incomparable experience of visiting the greenery in the middle of the desert. The Oasis stretches in an area of about 1200 hectares and is a thick canopy of date palm trees(more than a lakh of them). Located in the heart of Al Ain city, it is very much accessible to all, with no entry fee at all. If you are going in summer, you can avail the buggy service with driver. Yet cheaper is the single or double pedalled bicycles also available for rent. It is a long walk through the multiple owner pieces of farmlands considered together as the Al Ain oasis. There are banana, mango, lemon trees also in different farms. The Falaj irrigation provides water to these farms. Falaj system dates back to thousands of years. The Falaj system brings underground water from the mother well to these farms. The visit to Al Ain oasis is a visit to the rich heritage and culture of Arabia. It was named a world heritage site by UNESCO in 2011.

A tranquil respite from the hot sun, and a refreshingly natural diversion from the city streets, Al Ain Oasis is a vast series of date palm plantations linked by footpaths right in the heart of the city.A small museum near the main entrance does a good job of explaining the importance of date palms to traditional life, while the oasis itself contains nearly 150,000 date palm trees. The palm groves are still fed by water channels using the traditional falaj irrigation system, which has been in use in the United Arab Emirates for 3,000 years. This is a great option for anyone seeking some downtime and a relaxing stroll or bike ride amid the shady palms.Cycles can be rented at the main entrance to explore the oasis at your own pace. There are also tours by buggy or horse available at the entrance.

It is a nice place but theres not much to offer yet...But if you are fond of historical significance and faith healing of some sort, the water flowing from Jabel Hafeet is believed to heal ailments. So there are lots of locals there that are bathing or washing their feet on the stream. You can walk for free, but if you chose to ride the caddy, it will cost 20aed. There are also tricycles there but I was not able to ask how much...😊

Oasis isnt what one might think of. Its basically a collection of farms owned privately by people. There are pathways amongst to make the journey easy. Most points of interest are closed due to Covid. Can visit any farm from inside to check out plantation and get some selfies. The Palm trees cover most of the area that makes it cooler and provides shade. Cycles are available at AED 50 per hour to travel with family for some fun, but gets tiring pretty soon if you are not fit. Not crowded and has decent parking space. Must take water along.

We have visited Al Ain Oasis first time. Nice place. Similar to Botanical Garden, but most of the trees are palms. The area is huge! The entry fee is zero! On the entrance we got a map of the park. Unfortunately we came not at the perfect time. It was very hot. Best time to visit the park. 5 pm. As per the staff members the national souvenir shops and the playing ground area will start operation at 5 pm. Plus the heat will be less.
