A wide range of equipment for cardio, strength training and crossfit activities, this place looks more like a play ground for adults. Just love it.

Gym needs to be upgraded! The equipments are old, the temperature is very hot especially in group classes and the gym is very crowded. It is sad to see that FFs management cares about some other regions more than the others. We can see how much better FF can be and this is very sad. Staff are extremely nice and would be a perfect place once upgraded.

Best gym in the demographic with Top Personal trainers. The facility is top notch and a great place for people to train.

So I was never interested in Gym or doing workouts, but gave it a try, and here’s what I think:1. Fully equipped gym (at least from my humble perspective) you’ll probably find every equipment you need for your training, from machines, to the spacious free weights area, cardio, etc.2. Atmosphere is really good, from reception all the way to the trainers and everything in between, you are always welcomed with a smile and people who are glad to help, and the place is neat and taken care of3. Classes, lots of classes (although I haven’t tried any, but their schedule is very packed so you have a lot of optionsSpecial shout out to Aron, the trainer who managed to get the best out of me and who managed to keep me engaged and excited in the workout (miraculously, since it was never my thing)The only reason I didn’t give a 5-star is:1- Timings: would have loved the gym to be available 24/72- Can get really crowded in the evening of working days

The real reason for giving this gym 3 stars is because of the Mens’s bathroom/locker room. It’s usually unbearable due to the smell. The bathroom has little, if any ventilation, and it constantly smells like sewage and is very humid. They remodeled the bathroom a year or so ago, but it’s still just as bad. Seriously considering not continuing after this contract due to this, it’s that bad. There’s enough equipment for everyone most of the time, however the equipment is starting to show its age and a lot of the adjustable benches no longer have safety pins attached anymore, which can be quite dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing. It’s not really their fault but because it’s in the mall there’s no natural light and can feel a little claustrophobic.

Such a amazing place this is my first time in this place. They maintain very well i try the food also its so good i want to recommend this place to everyone come and enjoy. There is no any place like fitness time. Full safe in COVID-19

Lot of space in functional training area.Weight training equipment area can be a little bit more spacious. Almost all necessary stuffs of weight training, CrossFit, cardio vascular exercises are available.A little bit crowded after post covid lock down.Hygienic and following Covid 19 safety measures, suggests to increase the frequency of cleaning in wash room area.

Old machines . Boring atmosphere

Literally my favorite and the best branch to workout at, everything is well chosen from equipments to variety of classes that suits everyone in addition to personal trainers and coaches that are actually the best out of all.I’d like to highlight that I really wish from the management to keep Body Combat classes that are given every Saturday with coach Mary Rose; as it’s one of the most enjoyable classes.

Need a lot of improvement, many equipment are not available comparing to other branches Dubai.No way to be able to book a class always fully booked within a seconds once its open for booking.

Worst gym in the middle east... Specially the abudhabi mall branch...just now they have deducted 330 dirhams from my debut card without informing me prior...i was supposed to be with them for only 6 months and yet they have charged me for the 7th month and I am not even in abudhabi or using their gym facilities... Mean trainers... Always crowded.. Fraud people always behind money.. After this post still they wont care and wont even call back...now there own people are putting 5 star ratings like recently dounia put a 5 star rating but she works at fitness first.. One of the first complete gyms to open in Abu Dhabi!! Its a Platinum branch, prices has decreased significantly to match the competitors, located in Abu Dhabi Mall, third floor, staff are cool and trainers are experts!! I would like to see the gym adding new machines as they didnt add new machines since last few years. Now due to Covid you got to bring your own towels, gym is never crowded which is a huge plus!! Moreover the timing should be revisited now as there a 24 Hours gym, and maim two competitors start at 05.30 AM. Still i prefer Fitness First gym especially the Platinum membership will allow you to enter all branches across UAE.

The gym is well equipped with variety of equipment for every exerciser be it crossfit, body builder, power lifter ok r calisthenics you are all covered. All SOPs are in place, lets not forget a team of well qualified and experienced trainers for both the ladies only side & the mixed area. Come check it out you will love it & its in the middle of the city

Clean, not crowded, could use more equipment

The gym is so crowded and is about to explode. Group exercise classes are full, crowded, smelly and disastrous (although they have the best instructors in town). The class schedule is almost all day ‘Ladies Only’ and only 2 slots a day are available for poor men. To book classes on the app, classes will be full - literally- in less than a minute from opening time. If you are lucky you will get a “waiting list” chance. If you are on the waiting list and dare to try to attend the class, there a very good chance to get kicked out and get embarrassed in front of everyone. I suggested many times to open more slots for mixed and take it easy on the ‘ladies only’ classes but they won’t listen.. ( by the way, in AbuDhabi there are 5 branches, 3 of them are ladies only gyms and technically this branch is the only available for people who live in the ABudhabi island or reem island). anyway, there is noway I will renew in this gym in Abu Dhabi.. luckily Gymnation is open now here..

Very hard to get in contact with their team, I had an issue with my membership and the team were not friendly nor understanding.I don’t recommend this gym as it is not up to the standers.I expected way more than what I paid for I will not renew my membership with them.

We were so happy in joining fitness first as our root to change and get fit.But whenToday I walked in the gym as I always do with my friend whom I motivated to join fitness first a well know company in fitness industry and hence I am very disappointed with their communication with me saying I cant work out with my friend as It looks like I am training her. No thats not fair yes I am guiding her with the work out as I know for myself what to do.You stopped us saying you have your own personal trainer to guide do, and you think its compulsory if you join you need to have a personal trainer.Even when we are using membership and coupons its pretty much clear we are a part of the place and we can work out independently.So please correct your ethics before the staff comes to client and demotivate them from working out.Fitness is a personal and independent choice so please dont snatch someones motivation with interruption. .

As a member who has access to Multiple GYMs across the Emirates I am confident to say that FitnessFirst Abu Dhabi Mall branch if on top of my list.One of the reasons is the fine selection of great GX coaches they have like Mery Rose Azarcon and her extraordinary BodyCombat Class on Saturday.I would like this review to reach to ADM branch management to keep the Saturday class with rose as it is one of the always-full, high demand and enjoyable class.Thanks,Nour

This review specifically for Abu Dhabi brunch, it was a big disappointment , I signed up for a 4 months membership and then they didnt get the 2 proper training sessions , the guy was only focusing on how much I can pay him for get him as a personal trainer, when I said Im not interested hes like the 3d scanner machine is not working then I saw a girl getting in the room and getting her scanning done , they didnt give me the free bag or water bottle until I asked about it, no one is sanitising the workout machines .I will not recommend this place to anyone . I will not renew my contract with them .

Great, very spacious and well equipped gym in Abu Dhabi. The atmosphere is great, they provide all you need (including towels, shower and body products). Moreover the personnel is very kind and attentive. Definitely I don’t regret my membership at all!!!

Machines pretty old. Avoid going from 18:00-20:00 as its super crowded.

Awesome Gym! The facilities and staffs are amazing. Kudos to Camilly who is always looking after each member participating in the class. She will ensure that you are doing the right thing not just giving you instructions but she is hands-on too. Excellent teacher in the class 🙌. We love it.

The trainer would loudly mock your appearance to get you to sign a membership and buy a package of personal training with them which is rude 0 social skills.The management threatens existing members who stopped going and paying because of the corona virus with further action like theyll be sending someone after you to pay for an inactive membership in midst of an epidemic, who ever is in charge should feel ashamed.If you decide to freeze your membership youll still have to pay for 180 AED ... which i dont get why ? does the gym put a huge effort when freezing memberships ? whats the incurred cost ?If you decide to cancel your membership youd still have to pay for a month ahead as in the management should be given a notice that youre leaving, feels like im leaving a rented apartment LOL.Many questions in terms how this business is run here in Abu Dhabi.Hope that theyre always clear to their clients in terms of the absurd conditions of how they run this gym.

Not bad , but lack of machines and need a renovation.However trainer Marina Dorozhka very motivated and professional . After assessment with Marina I feel motivated to go to the gym . Also would like to mention Mariam with her circuit training classes , she is the best .

I do not understand the obsession with loud music , everyone has own headphones and some like me may be having my audio book ON while working out .At times the music is pretty loud and not able to hear to my audio .In this era of headphones and personalized music why do you have to have loud music ?

Fitness first having unfair and very strict rules of payment terms. The month is being fully paid and the client attend only few times like 3 or 4 times, the receptionist is pushing to pay next month without allowing to use the the pending month. This is unfair. Every where in the other countries it is possible to use the pending days that client paid for. Fitnes first management should consider this.

Very bad management never respect clients , try to get money from people with illegal ways , worst gym ever .Never contrast them : when the manager say bad words with her language to clients means she never respect people I had a very bad experience there that why I’m trying to cancel my membership more than 3 months but they are trying every day to didact money from my account.

Excellent facility, i am not a muscle pumping guy, i am an athlete and mainly a cricketer and for me Fitness First has been a revelation. Different exercises machines and sub facilities present. The club is not overcrowded and the instructors plus staff are very gracious. The locker room and washroom are speck clean and lots of fitness programs. A Must recommend from my side for sure !

You have to care about reading their terms and conditions carefully as they don’t tell you everything until you subscribe , be aware from their sales team , they care about your wallet and their commission ONLY .Lot of promises and motivation , once you pay they won’t look into your face .Pros :- Group exercises ( This is the only benefit in this Gym ☹️ )Cons :- No one will help you unless you pay thousands of dirhams for personal trainer ( Almost 3000 DHS ) per 12 sessions ( over priced )- They will tell you that you will be given two assessment session , the first will be only Weight analysis , the second will not exceed 10 minutes , and the purpose is to tell you ( OMG 😱, you need lot of work , you need a personal trainer )- They will try to teach you a little bit so you can renew for another personal trainer package .- compared to other Gyms , lot of machines are missed and the strength exercises area is so small .- i don’t feel any spirit or motivation in the whole Gym .- missing lot of major machines which you can find in any other gym .If you are going to use Treadmill and cycling , then go ahead , else-wise don’t .I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS GYM AT ALL

Hi Fitness First Customer Service,Im really delighted to see an upgrade in your amenities in the club like the 3D body scan thing. But this kind of upgrade doesnt give the member a benefits, since it will not be free for the member aside of you, giving a free voucher to use it once. But Im not against with it, what Im really care about is that you remove the old BMI machine without replacing at-least a weighing scale that is free for the member ti check our progress,, it is vital to a fitness club. And it makes me think that, you are asking us to pay 250aed just to check are body weight and theres nothing logical about it, youre just milking your members money on top of your expensive membership fees.I always patronize your club since then. Ive have been in many Fitness First club specifically in asian region. They are more organized with full amenities you can ask for even a simple weighing scale.And i think this is the only Fitness Club in the world without a weighing scale.I hope you can consider this matter. I would like to share my great experience with the staff members of fitness first abu dhabi. I came at around 11am to meet Mr. Marvin to discuss about the membership. The guy in the reception, who was Mr. Peter welcomed me and called the attention of Mr. Marvin. I just waited for a minute and finally met Mr. Marvin. He informed me and explained very well about the incredible offer of their membership. I can definitely say that the offer is worthy enough though many claimed that it is expensive. They tour me around and it was amazingly clean and huge. And the most important part, it was not crowded.🤨 I am excited to start, meet new people and have a sexy body!🤪

What kept me glued to Fitness First Abu Dhabi Mall is its truly professional, extremely friendly and supportive staff. And my membership gives me the flexibility to visit any Fitness First branches in UAE.The General Manager at Fitness First Abu Dhabi Mall - Ms. Marija Nokolic, takes utmost regard to customer’s views and is very interactive with all members.The staff at the front reception desk are very friendly (especially Ms. Sitte, Ms. Gerlie, Ms. Carmela, Mr. John and Mr. Marvin).I make it sure to attend the group classes and I found the trainers truly inspiring (especially Ms. Manal, Ms. Rose, Ms. Camilly, Mr. Fernando, Mr. Marcos, Mr. Connor and yoga instructor Mr. Kamal).Last but not the least, the housekeeping assistants (especially Mr. Waseem) do an amazing job here to keep all facilities spick and span for the customers.My suggestion to further enhance the experience at Fitness First Abu Dhabi Mall is to fit-in a small fresh juice counter if possible.I give full 5 stars to Fitness First Abu Dhabi Mall and would unhesitatingly recommend Fitness First to those who are keen on maintaining an active lifestyle and would like some real positive energy to takeaway.

This is the most irritating gym & staff you will ever see . in this gym you burn out your calories from your frustration and not through exercise. They made me sign on a contract for one year and had to pay 750 the first month and 340 monthly . Then the next month will tell you that price have increased to 390 while other staff are members are paying 320.They sign on some thing to get you in and then change next mont . This has happened to me almost ever year . Then When you disagree and ask go meet the guy that you sighed with . He apologizes and saying that our GM will cal u today . Many days pass and no one calls Then I was lucky today to see the GM and was expecting an apology .i was very disappointed as usual until my wife and I decided it to leave it for ever .Each day you receive a call from some saying she is in charge and she fix the issue . But it just seems that you are going around a circle . I ‘ m very Surprised how the owners don’t see this huge frustration of their members .... no wonder they have lost most of them .as well as the good trainers . Most of the trainers expressed their frustration to the members until all of them have shifted to other gyms .It is nothing but a ghost town now .

Fitness first in abu dhabi mall has the worst customer service. Their coaching staff are not friendly at all and dont even smile. The coaches are not willing to help at all, unless you pay for a private trainer. ( money oriented )

Maintaince is very bad , never change the machines , most of the weights are getting rust , and many exercise machines are missing , the funniest thing is no forearm exercise machine in this so called big gym .
