I bought a new iPhone 11 from the Apple store however it shows an error message Unable to activate , I took it to the Apple store in Yas Mall, after 1 week they return it back with the same error message claiming that the device has unauthorized modifications and they cant help although the phone is brand new bought from an authorized apple store in Oak Brook -Illinois-USA on 27 June 2021, I felt cheated by Apple, further The Apple store team in Yas Mall didnt show any kind of care or proper customer service supprt, I request to speak to the store supervisor, waited 1 hour to see him but never show up,couldnt believe how Apple is cheating people n selling faulty product in their own stores.

Went to pick up my brand new iPhone after having waited for one whole week after pre-booking.. and the girl at the entrance completely ruined my mood and the excitement of getting the new phone.. she was so rude and ill mannered..The way she spoke was like she was personally distributing phones out of her own pocket and people were in line for charity.. not the kind of service one expects from Apple atleast.. I dont think its too much to expect a person with kindness or atleast basic politeness to be at a customer facing role..

I went to Apple in YAS Mall the time frame to get the service is ridiculous and the outcome not worth the wait at all. They informed me that my ipad is absolute although there is nothing wrong with it except that I can’t connect to Wifi. They said they cant fix it and because is old model there is nothing they can do. They advice me to buy a new one and it doesn’t make sense because my ipad is working fine with connection fault. This is not my fault and it doesn’t make sense to ask me to buy another one because you cant fix that one problem im facing i have to pay 1,300 Aed!! Very unsatisfactory service and i have heared 2 different inputs from the people working there. One told me that they will offer me a replacement to a newer model and when I actually waited so long the other employee said they cant fo anything for me.

Lovely modern space. Staff speak English quite well and are very helpful. Excellent customer support, from demo until unpacking of the product purchased. Gracia helped us out in deciding to go for what will fit our needs.Also, I like how Apple has minimised the overcrowding inside the store during this unprecedented times. Zero customer service; I been there to buy new phone; I had my baby girl 9 months with me, they asked me to stay in line!! Very friendly and professional staff willing to work with you to make sure you get what you need. Queues are well-managed and reasonable given Covid precautions. I cant understand people who complain about the queues to get in - just make an appointment like everyone else and wait the 15 minutes or so it takes to get in. I cant think of any other store that provides this level of customer service and backing of their product; waiting a few minutes during Covid is a small price to pay.

Terrible management. Good luck trying to get an appointment; gotta book days in advance regardless of the urgency of the situation. The Manager of this shop should be fired immediately, for the lame management of the customer service!The black Apple guy kept silent with no help but watching his watch frequently during two minutes! I got my iphone frozen and when I went there in person, they cant serve, as it should be through prior appointment, which means, I will have to wait for another 4 working days to meet the service team and further maybe 10-15 days to get my phone fixed, wow apple wonderful customer service. and the good news is I am dumping my iphone back to normal life with android thanks to apples poor and ridiculous customer care.

While i appreciate the effort to keep people safe during the pandemic, i think Apple Yas Mall has outdone it. You are not anymore talking to Apple staff at the entrance but to security guards that direct you to stay in line and refer you to apple website for any question you ask while apple staff is inside the store looking at the people on queue. I came to repair my AirPods pro that have static noise in it since a month and came as walk-in. I got told by the security that i have to book an appointment online which i went to check but next availability is a week from now. 2 people were on queue in front of me, no one behind me and the store was full ... of staff almost no guest. Still, i get asked to book my appointment and come back next week. Quite disappointing to be honest knowing that to buy a product l, no appointment required, just wait in line and you are most welcome to enter the store and deal with one of apple “geniuses”.

Walked-in to have my iPhone battery replaced, store staff put me on queue for 15 minutes, took my information for some minutes and asked me to wait for 2-3 hours for my appointment. They told me have some coffee or dinner while waiting.(By the way, Apple staffs will take your phone number and you will receive SMS when its about your turn). When it was my turn, store staff asked me to wait for additional 1.5 hours for the battery replacement procedure. The Filipina staff during payment was acting a little bit intimidating. I can feel she wasnt feeling good accepting my payment in cash. Try not to come over on weekends. But if you need to, bring some patience with you and keep your cool. The place will get too busy and crowded.😬

My iPhone 11 Pro Max was boutght on Oct 2019 but when we used to watch youtube suddenly the power shut off on Thursday, 20 May 2021. We made appointment for repair in Apple Store at Yas Mall.The staff checked my device computerized and diagnosed that the motherboard has gone. He recommended to get the replacement and payin 2000 dirham (exchange with the broken phone).I refused it demanded for free replacement as it was factory defect.Th staff was unable to take decision then called his manager and the manager said the warranty has expired. So they can’t accept it.I explained that this was because of the factory defect even they did not bother to check in detail.I can not believe in this expensive and well known brand, they still tried to make money fron the unlucky customer. I realize now that it’s kind of gambling when buy the apple product. If unlucky then, customer will get the device with hidden problem device.So shame on Apple who produced products thag last less than 2 years. They dont care about customer anymore, they just care about their sales. #shameonapple

I have had the worst experience in this Apple store:1)My iMac 21.5, model No. A1418 MNE02AB/A was having issues as it was not showing signs of starting.2) Even after taking online help to fix the issue, the status remained the same.3) I took it all the way to Apple Yas Mall and handed over for diagnosis and repair on 18 May, 2021. I was sent back without a reference ID for my repair. Luckily before leaving the mall, I checked the email for reference , I went back and requested them to give me one. Is this apple policy that the customer has to request for reference as in all further communication, this will be the first thing asked.4) Same day evening, I received a call on my mobile but it was missed as I was not available.5) When I noticed the missed called, I tried calling back. The call center guy even after putting me on hold for almost 30 minutes, told me that he is unable to contact the store and so I have to go to the store and check it out. I told him that I had visited the store the same day and is not willing to go there again to find out, why they called me. He then replied that they might call after.6) I received a call the next day and was informed that the issue might be with the logic board and would cost AED 1700.7) I asked her whether she is sure that the issue is with logic board and replacing it would fix the problem. She said negative and they will come to know that only after replacing the logic board ( I.e. whether something else need to be replaced). I asked her with all the facilities available with them why they could not finalise the diagnosis using dummy logic board and I got the reply that each system has specific one and they dont have any spare or dummy logic board to do it the way I suggested.8) With no other options left, I authorized her to proceed with logic board replacement and repair.9) On 21 May, 2021 , I again missed a call from the store.10) Since I didnt get any follow up calls , my wife contacted them via chat on 23 May to check abt the status of the repair. Then we were informed that the system is ready for collection.11) Accordingly on 24 May, 2021, we went to store , checked the system , paid a whooping AED 1875 ( which is almost 30% of the original cost of the Imac) and then informed the attending apple personnel ( Mr. Mike) that we are not happy about the shops communication protocol and would like to raise it as feedback/ complaint in a proper way ( not just verbal).12) To our surprise, his casual answer was that thats their policy... means they would call the customer once and if they couldnt get him, they will sent a message in the apple id/ email ( which we seldom use) and might give a follow up call after 3, 4 or 5 days.......13) I told him that this policy is not acceptable to me as a customer and would like to elevate my complaint to the next level , since there is no other platform like feedback form, complaint redressal forum available.14) Mr. Bobby ( Mr. Mikes supervisor) now came into picture. We raised our concern to him. Eventhough he was also talking in similar lines like Mr Mike, he promised that he would look into the matter and see what he could do to improve the situation.Based on my experience , I have the following observation :1) Apple store shows their monopoly and superiority / high headness throughout their dealings.2) They have policies for their own convenience and entirely for their advantage , with least consideration to customers.3) They care a damn about the customer and customer care is last in their priority.4) High headness & arrogance is evident throughout in their customer dealings, eventhough customer pays a fortune on anything and everything ( in my case it was almost 30% of the original cost).5) As a customer, I am throughly disappointed and would never ever visit this store or will ever think of buying any apple product.

I guess it depends on where u come from to get a certain standard of service...the staff prioritizing over certain nationalities, despite themselves being from 3rd world countries is appalling. Its not the first time...we werent even demanding, we were only asking for a small suggestion on the new device purchased. Even to pick up a serviced device took them 10 minutes even after u are made to wait inside. It wasnt during rush hour.. i saw 2 staff just chit chatting with each other n not being useful after we asked for a technician. We waited extra time and left, because we dont have all day.thank god i only have to enter this store rarely because my husband likes apple products. I never see this attitude in other stores. The staff are nice but they dont realize what they do unknowingly.

This Covid -19precaution is terrible. The store is closed and you have to queue like in a post office directed by security guards to buy a 3000 AED product. It looks like the more upset the customer is, the better chance to jump the queue. My advice : go to buy in Virgin Megastore!

Due to COVID-19, the store has took some safety measures. There are two long cues to enter the store. One cue is for people who are here to pickup there orders/devices. There are 4 booths/counters where customers buy or pickup their products. We waited for 30 minutes to get to one of the four counters. We reached there, bought the product and asked if it is ok to give a suggestion.The employee name was “Sara” and I suggested in positive way that instead for customers waiting in cues, one or two employees can go out there with their iPhones (which is considered as a fully fledged cashier) and ask customers what they would like to buy and see if it’s available and pay for it that instance. Then, the store representative can go and grab the products and hand to whoever bought it on cue.In sarcastic a way, “Sara” replied to me with “well, they can just go ahead and buy online instead of waiting or buy it from other suppliers“ .I’m always fond of physical Apple stores experience, but this employee have ruined the whole experience and would suggest that other customers avoid this kind of experience to save themselves this mockery.I’ve visited this place a million times and never been treated this way.

Worst Apple store I have ever experienced!! I would highly recommend not wasting your time by gong here. The store staff have no information and offer zero assistance and seem to care very little for any level of customer service. Inadequate Covid-19 safety requirements have made the store very unassessable and unsafe. Many people in lines with no social distancing and no one to help with any information. The whole process is extremely dysfunctional and unsafe.

Terrible shopping experience to physically shop for apple products at Apple store Yas mall. As of the review date, the store has only 4 counters called “express” and there’s no other way to physically shop at the store. The 4 counters are also used to assist genius bar customers LOL. I was ready to buy an item but the waiting line for those only 4 counters was packed. The store had a 90 people max capacity under COVID restrictions, however, they’re only allowing 4 customers maximum at a time at the moment. Thats extremely ridiculous! Apple is making its existing and future customers very unhappy. This is the way to accumulate losses from walk in customers. Well done Apple..

Queuing system in place to even look at products, 4 counters only, getting a PCR test downstairs is a quicker and more enjoyable experience. Avoid, go to 3rd party resellers or purchase online, don’t visit the store unless you have an appointment, or like queuing 😂

Apple Store Yas MallManagement please take note that all your security and customer service staff are friendly, polite and helpful.Today I visited Yas Mall to purchase an Ipad.As I walked closer to the store I see that there is already a long queue. Store opens at 11am.The staff informed me that each queue is different. One for Technical support, another for purchasing.While standing in the queue a customer service representative helped me with my query. He said that the item I had wanted to buy was out of stock. Apple Stores have a lot in common with each other, right? Youve got your basic simple design, tables with products, helpful and friendly staff. Yas Mall Apple Store has all these things. Its on the upper floor of the central promenade with a nice view of the central courtyard and fountains.Only other thought was I saw about 20 people in a spaces out queue waiting to go inside. Social distancing limitations and all, which I can respect. I suppose Apple doesnt mind the image of being very in demand and popular either.The only thing Ive ever wished for here that wasnt directly available was an expert in Logic Audio X, which is fair because thats a pretty specialized Apple product. They said there is someone with those skills at the Dubai Apple Store. Ha, maybe I should master Logic X and offer my services to the Yas Mall store part time.

Fancy place, but the after-sale support is poor.MacBook Pro purchased in this store. Some months after the purchase, the battery dangerously swelled up and it was replaced in this Apple store. After 18 months from the repair, the battery is swollen again: obviously, they didnt fix the problems root cause.In Yas Apple Store the price for a battery replacement is almost double of what Ive been asked in other computers repair shop in Abu Dhabi, they need 7 working days to change a battery, and overall they dont assure that the issue wont happen again.Note: they dont trade in the computer because it is defective (it is defective because they sold me a faulty product).I dont mind to pay more for a professional, reliable and fast maintenance service, but in my opinion this is not the case of Apple YAS mall.
