Nice place with excellent view over palace. I would say not the best coffee, not as bad as Starbucks but not upto the expectations. Would I come here again ... Definitely ... If nothing then for the ambulance

They serve the V60 with different specialty coffee, I tried the Colombian beans this time. Manually brewed by really good barista the taste was unique. I would go again to try the Drip coffee and some of their specialty drinks.

The place is amazing.The indoor decoration is so nice with spot lights and good smell.The outdoor is great with the view of the pond.The coffee is extremely special and professional.The price is high, but...I like it so much and I highly recomend it.

The coffees were wonderful and we tried the salted caramel tart which was also very nice.Staff were very friendly and professional.It is so great to see another cafe option for this area.

The flat white was great I chose Brazil or Colombian beans I don’t recall honestly. But one of them. The Spanish latte was also good. The ambiance and view in Qasr Al Hosn accounts for its relaxing feel.

I tried their T.E.L and it’s good. The ambiance is very relaxing and comfy. The concept of this coffee shop was a unique one as they don’t serve sugar in their coffee except for T.E.L which is one of their signature coffee. Espresso Lab is situated inside Qasr Al Hosn, a very nice location as it has an outdoor are where you can enjoy the view.The staff are nice and keep on smiling. Very accommodating. Keep it up.

The Espresso Lab has been always my favorite Coffeeshop in Dubai and I was very glad to see a branch opening closer to my home. I like the cozy place in a very centric location in Abu Dhabi and the taste of the coffee is always amazing.

Coffees are nice and the cafe has nice presentation of the drinks. You will find some sweets and snacks if youre a bit nibbly. I was disappointed there was no alternative milk option. The ambiance is nice for a casual catch up or and afternoon of work with modern warm/inviting interiors.

I wish I had the chance to try the coffee and enjoy the outdoors seating. I had to call them for directions since I arrived at Qasr Al Hosn and couldn’t find the place. Instead of giving me directions, they told me to just ask the security. It was around 12pm and I couldn’t find any security so I just simply left.

The coffee was not to my liking but it was very well presented.

I give one star because the place is nice.Other then that the whole experience was really bad. 1-they don’t serve sugar .. I never been to a cafe that the don’t serve sugar which is shocking. 2-they were cold to to serve us. 3-the guy replaced my coffee with another coffee assuming it’s sweet and I asked him to have it “iced” and I double said this to the barista I’d love it extra ice but I had it frappe coffee on top of this he was arguing with me about a concept. The whole experience made me really mad because I went there for the first time and I was expecting to have a great coffee.

A dubai favorite finally coming to Abu Dhabi! The new branch is perfectly maintaining the same quality and atmosphere of the main one. The location is downtown in alhosn which serves as the perfect backdrop to the cafe. It was very crowded when I visited with no space to sit but nonetheless I enjoyed my takeaway coffee .. looking forward to coming back when the weather is better ..

Cool atmosphere. Oddly limited menu. Bring your own sugar for your coffee... But dont worry about getting sweet carbs... They seem only to serve pastries in addition to coffee. No juice. But absolutely gorgeous location and design.

Espresso lab is perhaps the best specialty coffee in Abu Dhabi. The quality of the coffee and the service are outstanding.

No comments at all ( in a good way ). Its always filled with customers ( in a Good way) but i dont prefer busy cafes with my family.

I didnt love the coffee. I guess the shot was bit too thin. It was bit pricey but I liked the environment.

I highly recommend the Cold Drip. So much flavour comes out of the beans. Lovely location. Although the hard surfaces make the shop very loud the location is great. There’s not too much complain about as the staff are lovely.

I don’t know what to say am just surprised about what happened to me !! I called to see if they can bring my 2 espresso to the parking lap and they said sure we can bring them down to your car! After I ordered they said No sir we can’t bring it unless you order any coffee with milk !!! I told them no problems I’ll come up to your shop, and when I reached I paid and was ready to take my coffees “2 espressos” they said sorry your can’t take ur espresso unless we add extra water like black coffee ! What’s the difference!!!! What kind of rules or policies is that !! It’s my first time and Last time ever and not recommended AT ALLLLLLL !! 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Im writing this review based on my experience on the place and time I was there and your experience may vary.Now this was a sure 5 star rating without thinking, but when simple discomforts start to accumulate I had to drop one.The shop was welcoming and neat. The smell of fresh brewed coffee hit you like a bomb. Their in house barista knows his beans and can recommend something according to your preference. The atmosphere was quite and elegant which had me mesmerised. I was in the mood for something sweet so the waiter choose something called T.E.L. and my friend ordered drip coffee. Hands down amazing.Now with that out of the way lets start with the discomforts. The waiter who was talking our order wasnt paying any attention to what I wanted to order and her attitude was a bit off. The chairs although they look elegant they are not meant for long seating sessions. When we received our order there was an extra item we didnt order because of the lack of attention.

Beautiful location, horrible espresso!The „lab“ brews a lab coffee that has nothing to do with a good espresso. I agree that one can taste the taste of the been used - however, it is for a good reason that 99,9% of coffees are a blend of beans... could‘t drink it (Brazilian bean - far too soure) and the Indian bean, the smell was so terrible i did not wven want to try it... staff tried to please me - thanks for that!and finally, Not ever did i experience that a restaurant did not want to serve me sugar for my espresso because they want to teach me the real tast..?!? Seriously. Specially since sugar is available if you order a coffee with milk...

Good coffee and desserts. And the revamped Qasr al Hosn / Cultural Foundation area is breathtaking. The mixture of modern and traditional is beautiful.Edit: service has seemingly gotten worse since Ive last been here. I counted maybe 5 or 6 employees and they were all having a chat at the opposite side of the cashier (facing away). One employee ran to the cashier area as soon I got there (great!) but ran back as soon as I turned to a friend to ask for their order (huh?).No wonder it costs nearly 30 Dhs for a cup of coffee when you have to pay 6 employees for subpar service 🙄I get it. Employees want to converse and chill and its not like baristas get paid much anyway, but at least put in *some* effort?Other reviews seem to point out the same problem. Sad. This place has a lot of potential.
