Went for an afternoon coffee break, and it did not disappoint! Amazing architectural views mostly in gold, the food was also great and above all the grand piano and the beautiful pianist! What a great way to start your weekend 👌🏻

We went for afternoon tea at the Le Cafe to celebrate my friend’s birthday and I must say it was an awesome experience. There was some initial confusion with our booking date but it was quickly resolved and they made all the arrangements in no time, service was exceptional.All the staff were kind, friendly and extremely hospitable, specially our sever -Mr. Marshall. Overall a great place to celebrate your special occasions. Will def recommend 🤍💯

A bit pricey, this where you’ll find the most talked coffee that’s topped with 24K gold flakes. Taste is the same, but it is glamorous! Enough just to experience it once.We were there first week of January on a weekday. Our friend is leaving for good to another country and she wanted to experience the coffee with the golden flakes. We told the staff that it’s her last few days here in the UAE, and they have surprised her with some chocolate gifts and a happy birthday song! (😅 even though it’s not yet her birthday! But all of us jived anyway, it’s funny but the staff are so sweet!)

Came here for some Coffee and was not disappointed. The coffee was very good and also unique with the gold leaf on. Also had some camel milk ice cream with gold on. The quality of the food was very good, the staff were also very friendly and happy. Would definitely recommend this this place

Went for the Breeze lounge-Closed, BBQ Al Qasr-closed, so returned to Le Cafe.Service was impeccable and fast.Tried the Capuccino with 23ct Gold dust.Its a novelty, Im not sure available elsewhere on the planet, except perhaps in Dubai. Great Capuccino! + With Gold flakes!! Well...Tried the camel burger with Gold dust.Was served a rather large burger with crispy sweet potato croquettes, sprinkled with Gold dust.Its a proper meal, unless youre a rather large eater. The Camel burger was thick and juicy. I couldnt tell the taste of Gold dust. But then, I guess its a sign of distinguished Royalty, more than for the taste.The service was good. My friend ordered a cafe Americano, and forgot to mention that he wanted an iced Americano. After receiving his drink he mentioned it to the waitress who readily took it back and replaced it with a tall Americano filled with ice. An extra point for that.Visit this place if you visit the Emirates Palace. Like the Hotel, its an experience in opulence you wont forget in a hurry.

To start with I first made an online reservation which is preferred,so that when I arrive a table is reserved for me. Le cafe is a cafe in emirates palace. I particularly choose this cafe to have a 24k gold Flakes cappuccino. To be honest. Coffee was good but the gold flakes does not have any taste. It’s more like a luxury item to show off. What I like the best was while making a reservation the attendee asked if there is any occasion and it was my birthday I said, And voila with coffee they served me an small slice of cake( good enough for me) and the piano player was playing the birthday song. It was a beautiful touch when anyone personalises the experience. Would love to go there again and enjoy the coffee.

Special coffee with the 24K gold flakes in a 7 star Emirates Palace hotel is worth to experience if you are a resident of Abu Dhabi or visiting Abu Dhabi as a tourist.

Heard a lot about this purported amazing experience. Food was quite good, service was incredibly bad, and the ambience non existent. Beautiful grand piano - nobody playing! For the price I’d go and have a nice dinner somewhere.

Reservation is recommended unless you come earlier than the usual afternoon tea time.Because, it is a place where many tourists would come to visit.Most of the people will order the 23K gold flakes. But I would recommend something even more special - Camel Burger.I wouldn’t say it’s a super delicious dish. But just one time in your life for a unique experience is enough. Because, not everyone would pay AED130 for a burger.For the service nothing really special or impressed me.

Not happy with their staff service. There were so many staff around but when we call for service, always needed to wave and waited for long. My third visit with my guests and I feel the same every visit...staff are not friendly and they have this boring look on their face...I definitely expect more when I pay $19 for a cup of cappuccino.

Had the traditional afternoon tea for two here. Its definitely at the upper end of high teas (just over $100), but its worth the experience. Six sandwiches, four scones, a dozen or so sweet delicacies. I cant explain each and every one, but everything was quite unique and exquisitely prepared and displayed. The signature cappuccino that comes with it is an excessive bit of indulgence - gold flakes are sprinkled on top. What does gold taste like? Tried to take a spoon of it without any milk and... yeah, doesnt taste much like anything, lol. Still, what an experience. I am really surprised this high tea doesnt feature on various Best of Abu Dhabi/U.A.E. Afternoon Tea lists, as it was pretty spectacular, and better than any of the three Ive had in Dubai in my not-so-long history of trying high teas.

My husband and I had a fabulous time at Le Cafe! We were served by Surendor Marshall, who was an incredibly personable and attentive server. He really helped make the experience memorable. The 24 karat gold cappuccino was beautifully decadent, super fun, and quite delicious, with just the right amount of airiness and sweetness from the perfect amount of chocolate drizzle. My husband had the Waygu sliders with truffle fries and I had the asparagus soup. The asparagus soup was delectably creamy and the sliders were tasty. I appreciated the delicate truffle flavor on the fries, instead of that potent flavor being overdone as it normally can be. I also decided to have the Kir Royal, which I had never had before, but was glad to have gotten! It was bubbly and refreshing without being overly sweet. Also, there was a cellist and harpist playing some live gorgeous music. The ambiance was elegant and relaxing. All in all, we would happily go back!

I had the “Royal Afternoon Tea” package with family.It cost us 478 AED for two people, non-alcoholic. This included two hot beverages from menu.We went tonight for a 5:30pm sitting so it would cross over as dinner.The Afternoon Tea was served in a different area when we went (Le Vendome) for Ramadan because the usual area (Le Cafe) is an open space. I am writing the review here in Le Cafe because I think the food would be the same. I have taken out any mention of location.☕️ Drinks: I ordered the Emirates Palace cappuccino which was served with 23karat gold flakes. It was ok in taste but it made up for it in presentation 😮My second drink was the Jasmine Pearl. It was lovely.🍽 Food: generous portions of savoury and sweets. I can say that the salmon and the crab were my favourite savouries, and the macron and fondant were my favourite sweets, pistachio was my favourite scone.We did not leave hungry.We had to actually pack up the left over cakes and scones to take home as we were so full!!!💕 Service: Sometimes service suffers when the venue is busy with tourists coming in and out, but the service we received was perfection. 10/10 ⭐️. Our servers Fitriana & Khin were outstanding. They were friendly and professional.I made a passing mention it was my mother in law’s birthday after I was asked where we were visiting from and if this was our first visit, and the next thing, 3-4 servers came with an extra complimentary honeycake, birthday song and flowers!!!In addition, my menu was personalised with my name on it so I will forever have a keepsake of our visit!Would I return: yes. Next time I want a 10/10 Afternoon Tea, it’ll be back.Would I recommend: yes. Exceed my expectations. I thought this place would be overpriced and/or serve mediocre food with sprinkles of gold as their gimmick. I was foolishly mistaken. The afternoon tea serves enough very well done snacks and desserts to get your fill for two. We went twice, once for the regular, and once for the royal version. You wont be decent with either and they are very reasonably priced. The camel burger was also wonderfully packed with flavor, not dry, and not greasy. Very pleased with our choices both visits.

We tried book online But we were told they were fully booked so we went there without a reservation. We wait for an hour and we managed to get a table saw rather than going for the afternoon tea dad he seems it was the most popular option then we went for the gold coffee and ice cream( camel milk and gold). It cost 27£ approx but I guess it is the experience and the gold you are paying off (tasteless by the way). The cafe seems to need improvement in terms of management as they didn’t have enough people working there to cover all tables, I think they need more staff.

Well, Cappuccino with 23k edible gold flakes attracted me to explore Le Cafe. The presentation was catchy and the taste definitely matched up. Liked the luxurious ambience, quiet crowd and the excellent service.

Its a marvel what they do with desserts. Its pricey but sometimes you just have to do it.

Not sure what the rave is about this “cafe”. The cafe is located at the back of Emirates Palace lobby. It’s not really a cafe, rather a clustering of couches and tables with a bar in the middle. If you want to come you should make a reservation a day before. We did but the place wasn’t busy. We ordered the camel burger and a salad. The camel burger was good but not worth the 35$ price tag. The salad was disappointing. I had a draft beer at about 14$. Again not worth it. The palace itself is nice albeit extremely tacky with all the gold leaf.

My family and I popped into La Cafe for a late afternoon scone and tea. After a little faux pas with me not wearing trousers and quick trip to Marina Mall to purchase some we were seated by Marshall, an excellent waiter. He was superb with our children talking directly to them and entertaining them. He was caring and considerate and offered great advice when ordering (we ordered two scones and he said that we would only need 1).On top of the excellent service the tea and scones were delicious and we will definitely be back for more.Thank you

We visited in early May 2017. We made a booking in advance, but it was quiet during our visit and we finished our exploration of the publicly accessible part of the Emirates Palace very quickly, so they were able to accommodate us earlier. We ordered the traditional afternoon tea with a chai tea (excellent) and the signature gold leaf cappuccino (disappointing - sadly, coffee in UAE equates with American coffee, not the coffee Australians are used to). The traditional afternoon tea was perfect, but waaaay too much. Its also followed by a chocolate fondue which we didnt even get to having barely finished our afternoon tea. The wait staff were lovely. The atmosphere was OK - there was a lovely pianist playing but it was quite noisy because there were a large number of families nearby with small children.Would do the high tea again, definitely worth it if youre only visiting once.

This is the second time that we have dined at Le Cafe. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There was a varied selection on the menu for all tastes. The service was excellent and very attentive. The food was beautifully plated and delicious. It provided a lovely prelude to our evening at the theatre. Looking forward to our next visit.

Fabulous afternoon tea with a beautifully made selection of sweet and savoury food. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The only minor thing was that we found the tunes the pianist was playing slightly too melancholic for the occasion. A bit of classic Cole Porter instead? However, cannot recommend highly enough for a special treat or occasion.

Wonderful cafe in an amazing hotel. The service is very good and booking via email seems to be the best option. The food and drinks in Afternoon Tea are very nice, especially the Palace Cappuccino with 24 karat gold. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in Abu Dhabi.

Had a high/after noon tea, the royal one. Quality very good. To much sweet things compared with savoury. They only serve 1 sandwich of every taste for 2 people. From the sweet items there where 2 of every kind.It is like you are in the window of a shopping mall with all the tourist passing and watching you eating.....Prefer the tea at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai is much more of an experience!

A must-visit for high tea when in Abu Dhabi. This cafe is famous for its coffee with gold leaves, its coffee with camel milk, and its camel burger, but the real attraction is the outstanding service and ambiance. Im here now listening to beautiful piano music. Isnt this nice? (September 2017)

It is rather a lounge area with many comfy sofas than a cafe. Good place to chill and relax while people watching. The service is always professional and attentive. If you are already there, why not have a cup of cappuccino with gold flakes?

First time in this Beautiful Abu Dhabi! Had a great time touring and exploring. After a tiring activity, we went here at Le Cafe to chill and relax. I am not a fan of blended coffee beverages but I decided to check their Frappucino. The presentation and taste are superb! Customer service is also great. Highly recommended when you visit Abu Dhabi. Include it in your itineraries.

We have reservation for 12 people for afternoon tea, they asked us to wait out side to set up the table. 15 minutes later, we were hosted to sit at 3 different tables but nothing was set up at all. Even one of the table did not have a table cloths yet. We then waited for another 10 minutes. Nobody tell us what we were waiting for. Then we found out we had food pre ordered. After the coffee and cake was served, we did not get and spoon not napkin. We had to ask for it . The service is worse than any corner coffee shop. This is the mistake to come here.

It was our anniversary so we planned first for a High Tea in Emirates Palace ,We got late as it was 5:30 where we got a warm welcome by Surender ,he seated us and coordinate with Chef to assist ,where he offered us the full package with the signature Cappuccino at last he surprised us by presenting anniversary cake was just wow moment to us .He made our evening by offering the best of hospitality would like to thank him as well chefs for making our day ..;

Beautiful decor, good service, and live piano make for lovely ambiance. The Palace Cappuccino and the Palace Cake complemented each other very well, and the hotel itself is lovely to walk through.

Definitely recommend this beautiful place . At first I thought its just place where you can try coffe with a gold and thats all.. but area and deserts - thats unbelievable 😍.

Really bad service.I had booked here in advance and already read that I needed to spend over 100 AED. When I showed my confirmation letter to the waiter, he just held me stand and told me I had to order first, so I asked if I could have a seat first, but he said no and, I needed to order over 100 AED. I had never experienced to be asked to order something without a seat in any hotel, except for here. Even after having a seat, service was still not good. Thats why I didnt enjoy even coffee and food.

What to say it was my best ever experience not only with the cup of coffee and other delicacies ..Their was a smart gentleman named Surender I think working as a Captain in Le Café, from India who served me ,was very impressive .I never experienced like the way he is ..Surender must be a real gold of Emirates Palace .He is the best in terms of knowledge, the style I experienced ..all in all WOW experience ..Thanks Surender
