Beautiful restaurant, I loved the atmosphere very welcoming. The service was fast and the staff were friendly. The food in general was delicious. The only problem that I ordered the Hara nimbu which is the chef’s signature was not nice for me and very little two tiger prawns for 85 dh is very expensive.I don’t mind paying and normally I don’t check the food prices because for me the quality is more important than the price
For a family celebration we wanted to repeat a meal at our favorite Indian restaurant Namak. However as it was shut for renovations and the mood was set for Indian fine dining we opted for Rangoli.Tucked away at the end of the lobby of Rotana on Yas island, we were greeted at the entrance to do our Covid rituals of temp screening. All good! The decor was nice with lots of colorful inverted umbrellas dotting the roof.We were served with fried papad and two chutneys. Kids frowned as that was a downgrade from the four chutneys we are accustomed to at Asha’s. The kids always have murg makhani and naans. They were disappointed as they didn’t like it as the chicken was not tender and the taste was bland - not to their liking. And I was like are you sure guys that’s a hundred bucks for that dish.My wife and I tried the aloo udaigiri. This was awesome - spicy and tangy. We also tried some starters like the tandoori fish which was smelly and bland inspite of the mint chutney that came along the three small pieces. Umm did they run out of fish? And why was the mint chutney not served with the papads I wondered? The chicken chandi tikka was very sumptuous and juicy and also came in three slightly larger chunks than the fish pieces. Finally for dessert we ordered julab jamun. We got three large hot ones which was very soft and juicy. Will we go back, I shall leave you to guess.
Excellent ambience. Lovely setting. Good food. Good service.Special thanks to Zain for his good treatment
Rangoli is the innate nature of Indians, art lovers, and the artists. With such artistic impression and creativity of Rangoli, Rotana Group is running the Fine Dine restaurant with the ancient art of India- Rangoli, the modern Indian restaurant on the gated community of the Capital - Yas Island.Fantastic location, enchanting vibes, delicious food, and extraordinary hospitality are features of Rangoli by Rotana. Yas Island is the place which caters to all tastes and ages from a dose of adrenaline to unwinding the peaceful sanctuary; Rangoli aligns completely with its location on Yas Island since the restaurant caters to all types of palates. Each dish and drink is as carefully crafted and presented as artist fill colours with bare hands in patterns drawn in Rangoli. Minimalistic yet artistic platting, the right proportion of ingredients, and due diligence in serving them reflect the restaurants ultimate expression of passion for art and food.
I was served by Toly in Rangoli restaurant. It was an amazing experience. Would like to come back.
Thanks Dinesh for good suggestions and we really enjoy the food and the services 🔥👌🏽
Wow, for a four star hotel the whole experience felt like 5 stars. We went on a Wednesday which is an al a carte all inclusive buffet. We sat at the table and selected as many starters, mains and desserts as often as we liked. The service was amazing, so friendly and accommodating to your needs. The place had a lovely ambience and was very clean. The food was lovely, everything was very tasty and cooked to perfection but I would highly recommend the onion bajis and chicken (very soft and chunky) for starters. Then the lamb Rogan josh just falls off the bone and there are a lot of vegetarian choices which were very tasty also.
Very good Indian cuisine. Service very kind
Perfect Combination of great food, lovely ambience and exceptional customer service. We had the set menu Iftar, it was great and our host Tolivi & Zyan were just brilliant. We will definitely come back! 😊👍
This place is with amazing Indian cuisine platter with lots of flavours and taste of India. Authentic Indian north food been served here , recommended to visit in the heart of yas island located at yas plaza. It was our first visit to the Resturant but won our heart , we had evening iftar set menu which was full of taste. Thanks to amazing host Sanjeeta , Gayan, Toli who served us with warmth. We will visit again.
Great food and fantastic service, would definitely recommend.
Food is average, you can find better Indian food in the Abu Dubai city. Service is excellent and priced ok ok as per start category hotel
Really nice service and amazing food I highly recommend it 😍😍
Very nice restaurant.. food are very delicious...
Great Indian food, with good quality items in great cooking process. Service its a little too slow but very attentive and friendly. I found the place a little too cold due to very high air conditioning, but they promptly got me a little shall to put over my shoulder... I would suggest this place for ethnic food in Yas Island. Definitely worth a try the garlic nan and butter chicken...classic and common but really well prepared and tasty
I had such an amazing experience here. The ambience was great and the food was so well prepared. The staff was super friendly and accommodating.
Superb ambience. Booking is advisable. Good service. They were very helpful in advising for vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Prices are slightly on higher side. Service is slow especially considering there was no rush. When asked for green chilies and onion, waiter humbly refused saying, it is part of their green salad dish and has to be ordered separately. Generally onion, green chili and lemon pieces are complimentary with main course in most of Indian cuisine restaurants.
Nice Indian food and atmosphere
Very good food. Very nice and caring staff. Central location and walking distance from all the hotels on Yas island. Must visit 👍👌
The food was incredibly good and very well priced. The staff were super friendly and extraordinarily helpful. Our waiter Gayan from Sri Lanka was as good as any waiter I have ever seen.
Really enjoyed my meal. Servers were very friendly. Would definitely go back
I had the misfortune of eating at Rangoli and got food poisoning. The service and the atmosphere are good, the food is very pricy. But I did not expect to get sick from eating there! Within an hour of eating there, I was throwing up, had the chills and was up all night with fever and the loosies. Next morning, the same thing started happening to my son. Overall a poor experience🤢
The food here is very tasty and the staff are so well mannered .
Food is really nice but the service is very poor. It take the chef more than an hour to serve food on our table.Go to Rangoli only when you have ample time and dont feel too hungry.
Amazing food. Friendly staff. Great seating. I have visited this place almost 6 times now and every time I eat at rangoli its an amazing experience
This was part of the complimentary gifts from Centro Rotana for the package deal in Feb so cant comment on the prices.Authentic Indian cuisine in the heart of Yas Rotana. The food is amazing and beyond delicious in particular the mixed plate starters, biryani and Prawn coconut curry. Service was fine. Comfy cushions add to the relaxing ambience.
Classic experience and my kids liked the restaurant very much
Nice and cozy ambience and good iIndian food.
Very nice shisha and very good jaber the shisha guy i like it tooo much
This was the fifth time I had dinner here this year. Very good every time.
Nothing great with the menu and taste although service and ambiance is good
Amazing exotic indian cusuine 😍
Food quality good but over priced butter chicken is 100dhm with is 20 euros. Then the restaurants wonder why they are empty.Buffet good but again over priced as now your waiting ages for food or drinks in between. I went there last week and twice the waiter forgot drinks and was serving someone else while 3 guys were just standing chatting and had to be called over . Before they would just come with the top up. Then you only get 2 pieces of meat but its 4 pple so when u ask for more again you have to wait 30 min BUT the restaurant is empty.Over priced now i say as quality n service has gone and i have been going there for 4 years we use to go weekly or every other week. I have seen it go from busy to empty. The waiter says order this and later if u want more i will bring but he never showed up lolDeserts are goodPlus food came out warm not hot - annoyingWaiter never came back to ask if all was ok or if we needed anything. Had to call again for drinksThen had to call again for top up on curry by thst time we gave up.We saw him only for clearance and he quickly leftThe ones standing had no common sence to help or ask. They stood around most of the night. All 4 had bad belly after this buffet which never happened before and because the food was slow and service took ages we didnt even indulge. Highly disappointing when u paid 300dhm which is £80 approx EACH.Individuals curries - totally over priced probably why most restaurants in uae are dieing.I could not see any tourist pay £20 for 1 dish thats practically £100 per head per person. No hotel in uk unless a Michelin star ir a 5 star celeb restaurant charges that.Plus you have tax addedWine glass alone is starting 60dhm thats £11 for basic wine.Maybe they should do a happy hour on drinks and reduce prices they may find the restaurant end up number 1 again.Oldest staff member is sangeeta she gas always be good hard working and polite. She has always come to check if u are ok even if she is elsewhere. Honestly she needs a promotion from 4 years i watched her interact there is a big difference in her service and others. Most of the good staff have gone n she is the last one there.Drinks - take ages to arriveAtmosphere - good calm but AC is always coldWould i go back - not really there are msny cheaper good service and good price places coming up.Standard buffets prices should be 120dhm - 250dhmEsp if your staff cannot handle the service
No flexibility lik other Indian restaurants for replacing rice with nans and vice versa. Also, requested for non spicy food for my kids, and they made it spicy. In addition, it is overpriced for its food quality and atmosphere. I personally will not go there again.
One of my faviourte new places to eat! The stag where also exceptional. We had been served by the manager who was first class.
Very tasty and delicious food, the service is excellent and waiters are very professional it’s a bit pricey (budget should be 150 AED per person)
