I would like believe that is an experience, having a chef cook live. The chefs are super sweet and funny. The food was amazing! Going as a group is 100% more fun.

This was my first time visiting a teppinyaki restaurant and it was a fantastic experience all thanks to our special chef Jayson. His charm, hospitality and sense if humor (along with fantastic skills and cooking!) made it a night to remember. Food was great, a bit on the pricier side but its worth the experience. They have both indoor and outdoor dining but the teppinyaki experience is indoor. Definitely great place to go for a date night with the significant other. Their staff is great, esoecially Sandeep and the kind lady at the reception, whose name I didnt catch. They have a very good drinks selection. This was a 10/10 experience for us, thank you! Their mochi ice cream was the perfect end to our evening and its something everyone must try!

The experience at Benihana is always extraordinary. Starting from the staff, service and live cooking show and ending with the delicious food.

It was a great experience.. defiantly would recommend for a birthday celebration. The staff are friendly and hilarious. Worth the good money you will spend.

Do not expect authentic Japanese food. Instead this is the Americanized interpretation of Japanese live cooking with your own chef preparing the food on a hot plate just in front of you. We enjoyed the entertaining diner and nicely prepared steak meat and seafood

Entertainment and Teppanayaki show are interesting, but overall food experience is about average.Service was good, however waiter typed into POS terminal 962dhs for our bill of 692dhs. We noticed it, he apologised. I hope this was a mistake.

After long thinking I have decided to give them5 stars. It’s a pity, google doesn’t ask for separate service. Otherwise it would have been different. However, first things first.Welcome part is quite rapid. Although we haven’t had a booking, restaurant manager Ms. Jean Navelgas provided us a cordial welcome. She found us a nice place next to the bar, although we wanted to sit where the main show goes on. She was very honest with us and explained us that we had to wait 1,5 hour until the chief would get free. We have appreciated it very much.We were 3 of us and my brother wanted to have a sea food soup.The waiter warned us that sea food soupis prepared a bit longer then others, however he brought us by his initiative and in the house a miso soup in order all of us to have our soup together. After more or less 15 minutes he brought us a sea food soup. That was also much appreciated.However, I want to mention some small details which need to be approved. For example, don’t make very long breaks between dishes. To have staff more attentive to the details. There is a Russian speaking guy, which is kind, however he needs to know the menu deeply and provide a service more firmly. The waiter shouldn’t be indicated that he needs to take off an empty plates. He has to make it automatically.Although, I have to admit, once you indicate them what they have to do they do it immediately.Apart that, the food is delicious. Whatever we have had was delicious. We have had 3 dishes each of us. All was different and all delicious. I’m sorry I couldn’t take a picture of my bother’s and husband’s dishes, however I’ve tried them and it was delicious. Fresh made sushi, rolls, sea food, salmon provide all with crispy delicious vegetables ( both as salads or cooked). Their rice 🍚 is simply magnificent. The food is excellent! I have no enough words to describe it.To sum up, although we have had this small inconveniences, I would recommend this place to Japanese food lovers. The food is really very good. If you know Japanese food you will love it.What I want to underline, is that manager, Ms. Jean Navelgas is very professional and I would like to thank her for a special attitude she provided us.My husband and brother are very often here in Abu Dhabi, I accompany them almost always, so I think we will get back to them. If you will ask me why, I would have underlined the manager’s attitude.

The chef was bored out of his mind. Not welcoming not interested in our order. I thought it was supposed to be what sets this place apart.Only reason its not 1 star is because some other staff members were veery helpful.Overall, not a bad experience. Wouldnt go out of my way to eat here again though.

This place has to be renovated..more attention needs to be given to those who reserved in advance. I exercised for two executive times improper seating knowingly I visited with booking.

They were very accomodating with preparing a vegan dish since there are non menu... but they forgot my Miso doup

Very bad service, extremely high prices. I was looking forward to an evening at the waterfront with some nice Japanese food. Most of the tables were marked reserved but one in a corner seemed to have space. After twenty minutes being ignored I finally managed to get a menu from a distracted waiter. The prices are on a level you normally expect at a Michelin star restaurant. However, the selection was limited to sushi and teppan taking. No ramen on the menu. The waiter returned to set the table and only after being asked went to look for the apparently only copy of the drinks list. Another ten minutes past, we had now been waiting for more than 40 minutes. Then the waiter returned and told us the table was reserved. Without giving us any other option we were sent on our way! I have been staying at the Beach Rotana for three weeks now but the rude and arrogant manner that this restaurant thinks it needs to treat its customers will not bring me back.

Food was really nice but service was great! Ramesh and Michael made our last night stay in hotel very nice ! It’s was only 2nd time when we felt we are in 5 star hotel !

Have been here 4 times now, as disappointed as I have been today I was very rarely in a restaurant. There is definitely nothing bad to say about the quality of the food, live cooking is an experience in itself, highly recommended. But since our family are sushi lovers, it is a shame if the food is served carelessly and the same food looks different every time, also in size and quantity, apparently depends on the mood of the cook or the stress factor. Its the first time I go out of this restaurant hungry. My wife only got the starter, the rest was forgotten.

Ordered a sushi platter and stir-fried udon.The platter was well-organized. The freshness of the sashimi and ingredients were also good, and the pickled mackerel was particularly good. However, it was regrettable that the texture of the sushi rice was a little chewy and did not spread well.The stir-fried udon was not bad, and the freshness of the seafood was good, but the amount was small.In summary, the food quality is good, but the quantity is unfortunate and the price is very, very expensive, so it is burdensome to enjoy without receiving a hotel membership discount.Its okay if you get a Rotana Exclusive membership discount.The kindness of the staff is very good, like a hotel.

Great restaurant with a lot of entertainment value. Here you can experience show cooking. The chefs are very friendly, funny and creative. The food is delicious and visually appealing. The restaurant should definitely be visited. Sushi lovers get their moneys worth here. Everything is prepared super fresh.
