Its my first experience in Cho Gao restaurant . Restaurant has unique theme that looks amazing. During my visit I couldnt find any food that is vegetarian. However, staff were immediately prepared ans arrange special vegetarian food for me. They are very attentive. I have tried for very first time those food in the picture. And they were all good. And thank you for special arrangement of vegetarian food.

It a ok restaurant, the location is ok. To be honest the duck and sweet and sour shrimp was my favorite dishes. I don’t know maybe I wasn’t lucky with food but what I am sure that I had a better than this

My son had a birthday and wanted to go for a brunch. We decided on the Cho Gao Duplex brunch. The beautiful brunch was well put together, but the service was even better.Thin, Lia, and Ren all helped us out, making sure that we had a fantastic family birthday meal.

We went for dinner at Cho Gao, Hamdan tonight. Service part was better than the food for us. All the staff were attentive and helpful. The drinks were also delightful. We ordered rae papaya salad, pho soup,tom yam chicken soup, steamed dumplings, virgin mojitos, nasigoraeng among others. We liked the papaya salad and chips.

We tried several dishes and each was authentic and delicious.

We were a group of three and ordered two Vietnamese noodles and one full crispy Peking duck. A bit pricey but portions were large. Peking Duck was not made in the authentic way (roasted and with mostly skin and little meat), it was oven grilled and very dry. Not recommended if you are looking for authentic Asian foods.

Asian Market NightEvery Wednesday 7pm to 10pm179 pp with soft beverages.The ambience was perfect for a cosy dinner with open tables and few semi closed Chambers.The staff were friendly and very courteous. Loved their service and humbleness.The food arrangements and the whole buffet set up was definitely a treat to the eye.The buffet has soft drinks, juices, salads, main course, soup, fruits and desserts.We had tropical mixed fruits and lemon mint ice tea for juices. Fresh papaya salad, beef salad and sea food salad in the salad section. For desserts there were a variety of amazing desserts like pineapple mousse, red velvet cake, leche flen and many more!! Absolutely worth a try!!Soup there was Tom yum chicken soup.Main course there were beef stir fry, hakka noodles, pad Thai, wok fry veggies, red Thai curry, white rice , grilled fishes and chicken wings and spring rolls!!!My fav ones were the hakka noodles, wok fried veggies, papaya salad, spring roll and the bbq and crispy fried chicken wings were out if the world!!! Absolute must try!!! The crunch of the chicken wings should not be missed! I also loved every dessert served! They were amazing!!Definitely enjoyed my visit💯

I visited this place a couple of times when I used to live in Abu Dhabi.Their staff is so helpful with some excellent service. I tried their sushi and Beef Rendang(for the first time) and really loved it.When I entered the restaurant I thought they dont have that much space inside but I was wrong coz they can accommodate a lot of people for a big party or gathering. Valet parking at the backside is a plus plus.On my last visit, there were some entertainer Thai girls and I loved their dance.a very economical place to have some nice dinner especially if you have a Zomato gold offer.I miss it so much and would love to go there soon whenever I will visit Abu Dhabi again.

Great food. Nice ambience. Go to place for Asian food.We used to order from Chimes when we lived in Dubai. The food here is as good, but the ambience of the restaurant is much better. And you can get beer and wine. What a nice surprise in Abu Dhabi.

A very nice place to catch up with friends in.

Decided to take visiting family from the UK earlier this evening, worst decision. Sorry to say it although the staff did try to serve us nicely - it was beyond difficult to hear each other over the music. Mains took exceptionally long time to arrive, and the food taste and appearance was below average.

Upscale Asian restaurant offering Japanese and Chinese cuisines. Located inside 5 star Crowne Plaza. Restaurant is on the expensive side but worth it. Menu has some GREAT cocktails, make sure you call ahead and check out their happy hours.

Good value for money, tasty sushi and miso soup. 2 options for salads, around 10 types of different sushi available in the buffet. Staff is nice and friendly, but I still think they should include water in that 99 AED sushi buffet, bcs paying 25 AED for Al Ain water looks crazy🙈🙈🙈.

Asian fare served in a good ambience with decent taste and presentation. Serves Asian beer and alcohol. Their themed nights are very good with Sushi nights being the most popular (limited dishes but great taste). Their service is one of the best. Special thanks to Allysan and Thin for enhancing our dining experience with their warmth and service.

I cannot recommend this place enough. We had a beautiful meal here and our server was the most loveliest person Ive had the pleasure of meeting. Her name was Thin and she was amazing. One of the best experiences Ive had so far in Abu Dhabi.

Japanese sushi and a varied oriental menu.To get the best value for money on food, it is better to stick with the business lunch menu and other offers. Selecting from the menu will be a more expensive affair. There is bar seating and comfortable table seating. The predominantly wood decor, makes for a calm ambience . The food is tasty and the place welcoming, what more can one ask for ?

I loved all the staff, specially the manager, Myanmar lady. But all were really kind. Genuinely good.

The place is really nice but they almost made us to sit in a seperate tables in order to use our Entertainer voucher and it was really weird. I hope they could improve the way they deal with the customers.

I usually go there on ladies night. Their food and beverage options are nice . My personal recommendation is to try out prawn momos here

The food is not tasty. Cheap food sold expensive and does not match the status of the hotel where the restaurant is located. Also does not mutch its raiting. Staff there keep always asking, “is everything good?” Seens like they know that food is not that ok. But 2nd star this place gets from me for staff’s hospitality. They were very kind and helpful.

It’s our first time to come here in Cho Gao Crowne Plaza with my friend and tried their Asian Market Night which is every Wednesday from 7-11. It’s a buffet setting and food are available for you to choose. They have (not much varieties of menus) which is a good thing coz its worth it and you can maximize and try everything in small portions as long and as much as you want! The servers are all helpful and accommodating especially Prakash and Sonai! Great food and money wise! It’s also in the entertainer. I so love their chicken wings and their Japanese chicken salad is a must to try! Sushi is average and what good is the overflowing soft beverage or you can upgrade to mixed drinks! We’ll definitely come back soon with more friends!

I have always been a fan of cho gao since 2014.... love the ambience, the choice of good food and drinks but one constant thing that makes me come back again each time is the lovely staff. They have been warm friendly and very accommodating to guests needs since day 1. Thats y I always choose to celebrate some very special days of my life hea. Supervisor Thin , Nicole and Sonai are ur best staff,treasure them I say..... The chicken dumplings hea are to die for, mie goreng and tom yum soup are some of my favourites ..... thank u guys

Cho Gao is a great place for dinning and hanging out, the food is always good, and the beer cold. Is a casual restaurant, if you are planning to go, take a cab instead driving. It will facilitate avoiding to find a parking slot in the middle of a hughe residencial zone.

I have read the reviews before me and my visited the restaurant and as they say, the food is delicious. We ordered a sea food platter , jasmine rice with a green curry(a bit sweet though). If you are spicy person , try hot.

Had a group buffet. Choices were limited. Sashimi did not look appetising. I would say this is the least of choices when it comes to buffet. However they made a very good chicken curry. Would suggest you go alacarte.
