Interesting place... the inside guide explains the culture and the carpets ... and after, he puts some of these on the floor. Then tries to explain in such a manner that the actual visit transforms in a carpet market... and does some offers to make you buy them... 50% off... its quite cheap... tax free... :))... fun time. Worth the visit.

The whole place is about to sell you something and this fact makes the visit much less valuable. And this is hidden as until you enter the venue. It would be nice to play with open cards in advance. At the same time one can see beautiful things, carpets, vases jewels here.

We went there on a tour of abu dhabi. Spent there about 20 minutes. The museum shows the luxurious items like dining set, jewellery, watches, sofas, wall frames made of gold thread and gemstones etc. made from different things. Overall a good place for small visit. Can spent more than 1 hour there but our tour guide stopped there for only 15-20 minutes.Overall recommended!!!!!

Visiting on a day tour to Abu Dhabi, the Miraj Islamic Art Centre was one of the stops. Not having any preconcieved notions as to what to expect, as we entered into the museum we were welcomed by the customer help and guided to a room for a short history of the museum. Main focal points included the beautiful handcrafted rugs which are for sale (very pricey!). The second level was definitely a shopping store with luxury bags, clothings, home goods and other expensive gifts.

They are trying to sell you stuff but in an understated not pushy way. Thought stuff was good and prices competitive. More a boutique store than a Walmart. Would buy from them

This is not a Museum but s commercial showroom. It is supposed to give huge commission and thus has high prices. Watches are not that great, some jewellery is ok as designs are good.

This is a tourist trap styled as a museum. There is actually a nice collection of Arabic craftsmanship, but you won’t really get to see any of it because the “tour guide” will ferry you to to the carpet room past all the other exhibits. There you’ll be offered some nice carpets (good price don’t worry). Afterwards you’ll get another 10 minutes to take a close look at the Emir’s art (all of which you can buy!!! Lucky you). Don’t come here. It’s not worth your time

It is not a museum. You cannot enjoy art because they will lure you to the back to sell you carpets and then jewelry. It was very difficult to keep telling them no. Before you realize it you didnt get to enjoy anything! It is not a well maintained museum. They will send a person who is suppose to be a taxi driver but isnt. They are aggressive with their sales. DO NOT CONFUSE this place with Miraj Islamic Art Museum. . . This one is legitimate. If there was a half a star i would of given that. I cannot confirm if their rig or jewelry are authentic or genuine.

I went to this place last week with A tour company ( Creators) they took us with the impression that it was a museum but all it is a store to sell you things we buoght 2 mats that they said and swear it was made with real good that evrything was made with gold , when back in the USA i took them to get tested and there is nothing that is gold evrything they said is a Lia, i personally ask them if it was gold pool lated and they said that No evrything was Gold . PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THEY LIA TO YOUR FACE.

Shame of Abu dhabi who allow this company to work. They say no crime but they still the tourist. Everything fake, they sell you gold but 100% it is NOT gold. Shame of Abu Dhabi!!!!

Stay AWAY !!! Will call police tomorrow to see if ipI can get my money back. Do not buy anything especially CARPETS. EVERYTHING they have there can be found in Dubay malls, and bazzars for 5-6 times less. Paid £1000 for a carpet he lied to be real Gold with stamp and signature and documents of the shop, to find it next day in most expensive Dubai mall for £200. THIS WILL GO UGLY!!!

It is more of a shopping place than museum. All the items displayed here can be bought. The collection here quite beautiful and expensive.

Im having a great time of seeing Islamic Art products in this place. Sales staffs were very friendly and approchable. The curators can explain everything about the materials and origins of each items. A wonderful place to visit after visiting Shiekh Zayed Grand Mosque.
