So I was with my dad in Dubai looking for a place to buy mainly all the carpets for our new apartment in Lisbon and after looking a few places I found Shaba, in this little nice souk. I was taken care amazingly by the owner, i had an amazing two days experience choosing carpets. We went over LOTs of carpets from Iran and Afghanistan. He also explained me about the hand made carpets, silk, cotton.. etc. Most of the carpets I had to ship them to Lisbon, I few I took with me! They were shipped on Sunday and arrived on Monday in Lisbon! Couldn’t believe such of great service! I was impressed.They have such of beautiful carpets! And prices were just right, after asking prices in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, the prices were great!I could have stayed there looking and looking. I believe we spent at least 4 hours the first day and other 4-5 hours the day after. Sheba are a fantastic carpet store and repairer/cleaning service. I’ve bought six carpets from them over the last eight years with amazing customer service. Visiting their store is a wonderful experience and they will even bring a selection to your home to allow you to see what they will look like in your space. I’ve also had my antique 1920’s Shiraz carpets cleaned and repaired by them. The new carpets I bought are wonderful and fit perfectly with our antique ones. The antique ones came back amazingly bright after cleaning and the repairs were invisible!

My husband ordered a beautiful red handmade rug for me and it arrived today. I absolutely love it. We were supposed to go there on vacation but with the pandemic had to change plans. The shop is specialized in Iranian Carpets from many cities and designs, and different qualities. This beautiful rug arrived five days later. It looks much more beautiful and vibrant than you could imagine. The quality is superior and it feels so warm now that winter is approaching. This is the best carpet store Ive been to in the UAE -- and one of my favorite stores anywhere in the world. The carpets -- which range from beautiful (and relatively affordable) tribal rugs to Persian silk masterpieces -- are spectacular, and Rashad is a wonderful and knowledgeable salesman. I bring all of our visitors to Sharjah so that they can shop at Sheba, and nearly all of them go home with new carpets. (Ive included a photo of me and my mother with Rashad, taken just after we bought a new carpet for her home.) If youre visiting the Central Souk in Sharjah -- or just looking for a new carpet -- this is the place to go!

Had a great experience here at Sheba Iranian Carpets in Sharjah. This was my second time to visit this shop and it didnt disappoint. The owner went to great lengths explaining the technique involved in the making of the carpets, which can take many months, depending on the size of the knots per cm. The wool and/or silk used is dyed with natural products, is flame resistant and is chemical-free; good news for anybody with allergies..

A nice carpet store with a fairly good selection of original Persian carpets in the upper quality range. They offer pure silk, mixed whoop and silk as well as whoop only.Usual carpet sizes start at about 2m and go up to hall filling.The owner is really nice, but you will still need to do the haggling to get to a good price.

Jalal did an excellent job. He practically restored two carpets that were absolutely ruined due to a water damage. They had lost their original colours and were practically just pink. The colours are back plus he repaired one carpet with the utmost accuracy.

I have been going to the souq in Sharjah since the year 2000. It is one of my most favorite markets. I lived in Dubai 20 years ago. Sheba Carpets was recommended by other expat Americans as the best place to buy beautiful carpets. My wife and I bought 6-8 beautiful carpets from Sheba then which we have enjoyed now for many years. On a recent vacation in Dubai we returned again to Sheba where we bought a beautiful Nain and two equally beautiful Afghan carpets. As 20 years before we were very pleased with the experience. When we checked in with Emirates for our return flight to the US we discovered that one carpet was 4 Kg over weight and Emirates refused to check. It was midnight, freight was closed, we escalated thru Emirates but were not successful. At that point out family was distraught . I couldnt think of anything to do so called Rashad. Amazingly he answered, said he would come to the airport in 30 minutes and collect the carpet and ship -- which he did! Now thats Customer Service!

He came to my villa to collect the carpets and spent so much time educating me on the carpets and their history( I did not buy these myself and were already old when I was given them. ) So it was fantastic to understand the history behind these carpets. When he delivered them back to me they were amazing!! for the first time I could really pick out the beautiful colors and pattens in them. In fact one was damaged and Mr Rashad repaired it at no cost to me. He loves to pass on his knowledge & passion off these carpets and what appears most important to him is the satisfaction of his customer! I found Sheba Iranian Carpets in 1999 on my first visit to Sharjah Blue Souk. I arrived to work in Dubai and was looking for a Persian carpet. That was my goal, my focus. I remained a customer until 2013 when I returned home. Rashad welcomed me and offered me a chair and tea. When I left I with my tabriz carpet I was a very happy customer. I took family and friends when they visited and spent many Friday evenings with colleagues hanging out in the shop. Sometimes we left with a purchase, sometimes we just left satisfied with after having good conversation and new information on the making of carpets and kilms.

At the Blue Souk in Sharjah- which is also called the Central Market - Gold Souk or Souk al Markesi, there are many carpet shops. Most of the vendors or salesmen eagerly try to get you in to their shops. I wandered into a few shops and really loved all of the carpets. To make a long story short - I came upon Sheba Iranian carpets. Rashad must be one of the kindest most helpful people I ever met. He explained the history of rug making and there was s story behind each beautiful carpet. Opening all of these carpet took quite a while to do but Rashad really does his best to help the customer and educate them on the origin and history of each piece. Whilst I was enjoying some complimentary mint tea, I bought a gorgeous Afghan red carpet and I love seeing it in our sitting room. I hope to go back to get a Persian carpet on our next visit. I couldnt recommend Sheba Iranian Carpets enough and it is well worth a visit!.

Decided to visit Sheba Iranian carpets stores after seeing all the rave reviews as buying a rug was on my bucket list. Called Rashad to say that I would be stopping off in Dubai for a couple of days on my way home from the far east. He very kindly picked me up from my hotel. Had an amazing experience at Rashads shop. He is extremely knowledgeable and knows his stuff. Just when you think youve seen it all Rashad and his staff come out with a rug more beautiful than the last one. It is an Alladins cave alright and I loved the mint tea. Rashad just couldnt do enough. Picked up a beautiful silk rug, which I will hang on the wall, and he kindly offered to ship the other one as my kg allowance wouldnt suffice. Good quality carpets

I recently completed two significant purchases with Rashad, two weeks apart. Over the years I have purchased 70+ carpets so I have some knowledge though not an expert. My purchasing experience with Rashad was fantastic in so many ways. Very helpful, a good range of quality carpets, and a warm and generous engagement. Together this made the entire experience lots of fun, and we felt like we had known Rashad for years. I acquired 11 carpets from Rashad all great quality and very reasonably priced. The negotiation process was also a good experience with no ill feelings as we both bargained firmly for quite some time. Furthermore, I was blessed with such amazing hospitality when Rashad offered to help me ship other bags home as I had to leave Dubai for another destination. He picked those bags up, and shipped them home safely for me. What an amazing gentleman, and great businessman. Really quite impressed with Rashad, his assistants, and the quantity/ quality of the carpets and rugs.Rashad is helpful, knowledgeable, accommodating, and fair. He knows and takes pride in his inventory, and profession. He is definitely one of my favorites in UAE.His assistants were quick to provide us with multiple options in order to find what we liked.His inventory was dreamy. Sheba Iranian Carpets is definitely worth a visit. I was staying in Dubai and was wondering if it would be worth going out to Sharjah as I was familiar with neither city and had heard reports that traffic was horrendous. I was very glad that I made it over to the Blue Souk Sharjah. Wandered around for a while and after buying some souvenirs - decided to look for my first carpet. After going into a couple of shops I then was lucky enough to meet Rashad. Taking out endless carpet after carpet was no bother to Rashad and his salesmen. Sheba carpets has a fantastic range of carpets and the colors and styles will have you mesmerized. There is something there to suit all budgets - whether you are looking for a small rug or a wonderful Iranian carpet. All the carpets are hand knotted and Rashad gave me a certificate of origin and guarantee for the carpet I bought.I am now looking forward to my next trip when I have my heart set on getting a Qum silk rug and a Tabriz or Esfahan carpet.Yes I will be going back to Sheba Iranian Carpets.
