This is good place to visit with kidDon’t forget to ride on battery car. It available at entry and fare included in ticket prices.There are many places comes on the way for viewing. Driver don’t stop at any of these and give reason that there is nothing see here.

Amazing place,good to have hangouts familys and children, summer is not good time to visit,if plan to visit start at 9am ..aed 15 for adults and kids below age of 12 is free entry. 9am to 6.30 pm they are open.my favourite is bus trip inside the wet land.there we can see birds and other species. Indoor can see more Arabian origin birds. Overall its awesome trip...

Seeing birds in enclosures might not sound so great. However, once you get here, far from feeling bad for the birds, you’ll be gaping at them in wonder, even admiring how well they’re taken care of here. In the cooler months you can also enjoy a ‘mini-safari’ around the reserve in a buggy and get up and close with the wildlife.

It is lesser known wonderful family outing destination indeed. Well planned and maintained. Winter visit is a must!

Just an average place to visit with family. The main advantage of this place I’ve been noticed is it is located far from city, so we will feel more comfortable there. Nothing more to except some birds and animals.It’s a good place for nature loving photographers and one time worth visiting. Public transportation is limited.

Very nicely maintained place ... very small & can be completed in a flash if ur in a hurry else one can spend lots of time taking a stroll in the nearby area within the compound ..nice place for a quick 1-2 hours trip at the nature !!

We visited the center today. Due to covid the club car ride is closed, but we were able to view the birds sanctuary. We went with our friends and their kids enjoyed thoroughly. It was a change of atmosphere. Can’t say that they had a wide variety of birds, but whatever was there was well set. All the informations regarding the birds are well explained all around the center and it’s very neat.

A greenary in the middle of desert. Nice collection of birds and briefly explained name boards makes it worth for the kids.(Due to Covid, Outdoor sighting not available)

Very nice place to watch birds in their natural habitat. Due to covid-19 only indoor facility is available. They are limiting the entries so you may have to wait in your car at the main gate. Entry fee for adults is 15 AED, for kids till 12 years its free. The indoor tour is not so long but very beautiful. There are so many different birds you would love to watch. The entire area is full of greenery.

Very informative & recreational.A great place to visit if you’re looking for quiet, serene, nature vibes away from the city.Couldn’t really rate the whole place aside from the indoor observatory because of covid - outdoor activities are not operational. But it’s still worth a visit.Although the tour will approximately last you 15-25 mins, there are interactive areas for the kids as well to keep them entertained while seeing different species of birds up close with a detailed information about each of them (i.e. life span, breeding, brief description & a lot more). There’s also a cafeteria should you need to take a break & just take in the view.

This is an amazing place with various species of birds, a close look towards the creation of nature.

The place is well maintained, it has the balance for conservation of birds and animals which also allow us to view it in our comfort.There are several detailed explanation about migration and types of birds and their features, behaviour etc.There is also an outdoor golfcar tour.

Nice place to visit during summer, it gives cool greenery feeling. Only indoor park is open as of now and 15.75AED is bit over priced for this. You can finish your tour approximately within 30min (as only indoor park is open now). Make sure you carry cash as credit card payment is not accepted at the gate

When we were at wasit wetlands we felt more closer to the nature.. the buggy bus ride through the tall plants is a new experience for Dubai residents.. we were lucky to see few deer running about the place.. this place is a home to so many birds which can be closely seen in the bird zoo there..

Excellent place to visit very near from Muweilah Commercial Sharjah. Ticket price is very reasonable AED 15/- plus VAT for adults and children under 12 are free. Once you enter enjoy a 20 minutes buggy ride where you can watch deer and different birds roaming in the lake. On few birds observation points binoculars are placed to watch birds closely, after finishing you can visit a place nearby parking where different species of birds are present behind glass wall. Neat and clean air conditioned place to watch birds their nests etc all the required information about birds is being displayed on walls. One cafeteria is also present inside with reasonable price almost same price as outside grocery shops clean washrooms are available as well. Best time to visit is just after opening we reached at 1435 and got parking inside along with buggy ride easily else there will be long queue on main gate and you may need to park outside. Very friendly staff guiding properly and very cooperative. Highly recommended place for families and specially children to learn and see the nature closely.

There is an large lake around which an electric vehicle takes you for a tour of the wetlands with various birds in their natural environment. There is an indoor area from which you can view them.The birds are well kept and cared for. Small cafeteria for snacks.

The boundary trees purify the air and eradicate harmful gases and dust. This increases the ratio of oxygen and reduces the greenhouse effect, aiding the habitat for its numerous migrating and rare birds and making sure all have nice clean air to breathe.Enjoy eco friendly buggy drive, watch birds and animals at there habitat. Found this gem quite accidentally - its one of the UAEs coastal wetlands right in the middle of the city of Sharjah. 40mins drive from Dubai Marina will take you to the world of birds. There is an indoor Center in which you can watch the birds through the glass windows from quite close distance, various descriptions and interactive installations along the way keeps it as engaging and informative learning journey which both kids and adults would enjoy. In the middle there is a cafe where you can enjoy some drinks and probably some basic snacks (We havent tried it).The pond / lake itself offers amazing views and safari like experience, since electric buggy would take you around and stop in few observation areas to enjoy the nature and spot some wildlife. Adults and children above 10 years can choose to walk on foot instead, but would need to sign some disclaimer forms at the reception to get the permit to do so. No younger kids are allowed.Highly recommended place, not as tiring as a zoo and much more wild with amazing biodiversity. We spent there around 3 hours in total, kids totally loved it, and I am coming back there for a walk for sure :)

Good place to go with family. Outdoor area is big. Observation points are very good and you can see birds without disturbing them. Indoor area is best in summer. You can see birds in their own atmosphere. The best time to go there is around December and January. In summer outside area is almost empty but in winter migratory birds fill this area with their presence. There is 15 dirham ticket to this area and if you in the time mentioned above it is truly a value for money. Full family will enjoy. Normally you dont see those birds in UAE but this reserve has gems.

A nicely developed ecosystem for birds. Natural water (being below sea level) supports the greenery. Authorities have put commendable efforts to create visitors feel worth for their trip. Nice attraction in the deserts.

Sharjah wetland is one of the new attraction in sharjah.visited recently and place was amazing with the view of lake outside and inside with different kinds of birds.ride on a bus and then all birds was awesome.it was public holiday but not much rush..must visit place and especially for the kids.they will enjoy it alot

Nice place to get your kids and show them about the wild birds around the area. The visit is divided in 2 parts. One is the visitor center which lets you see the birds in a sort of big opened tent. The space is air conditioned so there are no bad odors or too hot... The second part is a ride through out the wetlands outside. It seems to be a walkable path but we got a ride on a big golf cart.It cost 15 DHS per adult and kids until 12 years old are free.There is a store, a small cafeteria and clean restrooms. It is accessible for people of determination or moms with kids in strollers.

Indoor exhibit was little bit OK. But the outdoor tour was waste of time. We went in the evening and it should be suitable to view. The should have proper management and the organize the club car tour. Waited for more than half an hour. And not stopping in the view points.

Sadly It is not popular as a tourist location in UAE. I was surprised by the knowledge of this place existed , even its only 10min drive from my residence I dont have any clue about it for 4yrs. They need to promote this place. During the winter season, It is an excellent place to spend a day with ur family. Kids will love the birds. Dont miss the 30 mins electric cart drive its free, you will get a little feeling of forest ride. If the que is low just jump in, because it will be closed around 5pm.

Good place to visit, it is a different place located in sharjah. When you are inside the place we will not feel that your in town. It is a common place and has good birds sanctuary. They will take a trip to inside to watch the birds the area is covered with water and also an indoor place where the birds are covered in the glass rooms. It is good ton visit the place in the winter season so you will get to see more birds in the outside area. It takes only couple of hours to cover the place. Kids will enjoy.

A nice and small safari in the middle of desert. Located in wasit area Sharjah. get the tickets from entrance 20 dhs per car. Park your car in the designated area, open mini buses are waiting for you to have a round safari trip. you will get a little feeling of a small jungle even though deserts are visible through it. i saw some birds during this trip. Once buse stop you canb have a indoor area to watch some big and special birds along with some notes about them. Over all its a pleasure trip if you going with kids, they can enjoy alot.

It was a nice place to visit. There is a Wetland that you can visit riding a buggy car, a bird zoo with their specific environment. Very informative, kids will love it. We saw gazelles on our way back to the center from the viewing deck at the wetlands.

Definitely worth a visit it’s very quiet place 1.first the golf car takes you on a tour around the observatory to watch the birds and by chance we got to see the deers , but honestly whenever the golf car would stop for us to take pictures it felt extremely hot and humid but when it was going the weather was fine ... so as an advice bring some sunglasses and cold water if your planning a visit in the summer 2. Second you can go to an underground closed AC place with clear glasses to observe the birds more closely there is a small cafeteria with tables and chairs and restrooms (the entrance fee was 31.5 dirhams including VAT for two person)

Good place for bird lovers , not much fun to kids , place is not for barbecue, full day picnic, it is time bound place , it closed by 5-30 to 6 pm as now it is early dark time, better reach by 3 pm at least you can view , birds . It must follow quite ness to see birds without disturbing them.Place located in sharjah and 15-20 minit from king Faizal mosque vicinity .15 diram p/p entry, inside park vehicle free ride to see birds spots, right side indoor bird showcase to view closely.

Good place to learn about birds and very entertaining for kids.never mind about the weather as we will watch the birds from indoors which is spectacular scenery. Also the ride around the lake is very pleasant. A nice place to stop by!

It was a great experience. As somebody said in the review, I felt in like I am my grand mom village after long back. I enjoyed the time, birds sound. Very important be there 1.5 hours before sunset. The are not giving time to enjoy bird watching in wild.

Recently opened to public in 2016, its suitably located. Has good facilities to observe birds in their natural habitat. Some interesting activities for kids. Free ride in a golf cart is a pleasant treat. Very commendable work from Sharjah Government.

The place is amazing, however we were not allowed to walk on the path to see the birds closer and were not enough buggies to cover the busy time on Friday.

There nothing much to expect from this place. The only good thing is when you enter the bird centre , you get to see a few new runs and thats all.

Recently visited this place. The entry fee is 15 AED for adults. Its advisable to visit the place after 3 pm. There is an indoor facility where rare kind of birds an be seen. There is also restrooms and small cafeteria inside. Once you come out, there is buggy car waiting outside. If you have infants with you, be careful during the ride. The car doesnt have any safety elements. So be cautious during the ride. They will taje you to the outside wetland area where there are multiple bird observation points. The lake is not preserved as expected. The car driver was not that keen to talk or explaining things. So my experience was not that great i would say. If you are interested to see some birds or deers(not sure if you will see them though) , and to have your kids a break, you can visit this place.
