If you are looking to buy fish in bigger quantities, do use the backdoor and go to the dock. There will be auction going on. You will find far better prices over there. Fish market is not priced cheaper compared to hypermarkets in the country. But trust me, the fresh is so fresh that none of the hypermarkets will be able to deliver such good quality fishes. If youre a seafood lover, you will not regret paying a visit.

Recently revamped and look very neat and hygienic. Separate clean place for fish cutting. Most of the catches in ras-al-khaimah and some from oman and iran comes here. Fresh fishes, were you can select and bargain from many vendors. There is also a section on this market which sells fruits, vegetables and Butchery of meats. Amble of car park. Fully air conditioned.

If youre going for fish, pls go after 2pm. Because there is no before 2. Closing market Always Clean and cutting services available. Enough parking . Market will close between 8:30 to 9:00pm

Offer price available only hour-long before closing, and also get fresh seafood with better price compared in to others

Clean, hygienic and centrally located.Happens to be one of the largest fish market in the emirate. Place is surrounded with fruit vegetable shops and restaurants. Best bet: take a pick from any fish store and walk to the restaurant opposite the fish market ‘Al Ruban’ who will cook it for you as per your choice of preparation.

Lots of fish, crabs, prawns, lobster. No mussels or scallops here for your info, RAK is banned from selling/catching. I noticed prices are cheaper at opening time. At around 4pm it increases.

Can i find live shrimp or prawns wanna use for fishing bait?

You will get fresh meat if you time your arrival right around 6 o clock and the parking area is spacious and a decent price for fishes if you are experienced at bargaining. The crowd during that time might be a setback, other than this place is well know for its quality and people from all over RAK goes there.

Nice place to visit. many fish mongers selling all sorts of sea food delicacy. you would have to bargain a lot though as their first price is always highest and you can get over 50% less if you know how to negotiate. Parking is a bit of a hassle though but overall a good place to find some seafood

Fresh fish is available in the afternoon/evening. My recommendation: sheri fish. Buy it, let it clean for 2 - 3 AED outside and let it cook or grill. Behind the market also outside there is a row with locations. The restaurant on the left side prepares for you the fresh bought fish. We couldnt find this cooking place at first because its signed only in Arabic language but later our taxidriver showed us the place. You can go directly to this restaurant with your fish, they clean it aswell for you. We made this expirience at the Ajman Fish Market and it was amazing. But I think, the Ajman Fish Market is better for this, there is everything under one roof (buying, cleaning, cooking) and even there are places for sitting and eating. In RAK is everything more simple. And because the fish selling place is located in a big closed hall, it smells more here.

I visited evening time and some occasions I felt the fish was not so fresh .Vegetables are available under same roof .Parking is plenty .Negotiation indeed .Don’t purchase immediately .Make a full round , check the prices with each and every shops then take a decision .Prices obviously lower than malls and hyper markets .
