Baqal mountain range is a few minutes after the Wadi Naqab and the Yanas mountain.Visited this beautiful and scenic place with office colleagues and it is simply awesome.It located at quite a high altitude and the road to the top is not so very driver friendly. It is a bumpy ride. Certain parts of the roads are covered with huge stones, potholes, loose sand and gravels - those having a 4WD or AWD can only visit this place. One can plan a peaceful outing with family and friends, as this place offers absolute silence and peace.After reaching atop it gives a beautiful view of the Ras Al Khaimah city during the day and a starry gaze at night. Camping trips can also be planned here.The only catch here is that since it is not visited by many people, it is advisable to go in groups and a minimum of two vehicles - because if one vehicle gets stuck somewhere the other one can help.If you are travelling alone and unfortunately get stuck somewhere, you will not find any help here.Be careful, be safe, plan wisely, travel in group with two 4WD vehicles and have a great time at this place.

The view is amazing and super quiet but I just wished people wouldnt leave their rubbish behind. Maybe because theres no bins for that purpose.

Get a 4x4 ,a BBQ stand a tent and get ready for the best experience at night.....

In one word - unfinished. While the rough roads are expected and manageable, the presence of restrooms without running water makes no sense. Maybe things will improve come winter. Jabel Jais this is not.
