I was really excited about visiting one of the churches in Rak... especially considering how hard it is to schedule times to visit churches in other parts of the UAE (most of the churches are still closed because of the COVID guidelines)... once I tried to visit the inside of this church to pray the security told me only Egyptians were allowed to enter! I’ve never heard of anything like this in my life... in America I have always had the freedom to visit any other church without any discrimination... when I was told I can’t come inside to pray because I’m not Egyptian I really just wanted to cry.. this should be considered illegal here for such racism...

Security didn’t let me come inside because I’m not Egyptian. He told only Egyptians can come in. Is it only security words or it’s rules of the cathedral itself that only Egyptians can pray there???!!!
