Probably the most dangerous Off-Roading spot in the UAE which is not Private, as of now. From the valley it takes about 1 hour and 20 mins to reach the top-most point, if driven carefully, on a 4x4 of course. I have absolutely no idea how that guy with the GS who wrote the review below got there. Probably had enough ground clearance to get past those tricky rocks. The view from the top is simply mesmerizing and the climb is absolutely worth it.
Nice light or lomg hiking trails with fresh mountain airlovely spot for sunset watching , however there arr private farms there , so avoid trespassing into one of them
The road most area was damage so very hard to driving.4x4 powerfull Horsepower&short& light vehicle can up to the top
Not for the faint hearted. Dont bother without low range gearbox 4X4, dont bother on a heavy motorbike either. I went up near the summit on a dirt bike end of August. Didnt make it to the top as stopped in the last hairpin and got shouted something at me in Arabic from the top which seems to be a military outpost of some sorts? Decided not to take my chances and went down again.Good stuff for those seeking adventure, however, even my dirtbike struggled in first gear and had a few close calls.Beware of sharp rocks and punctures, forget about it when wet, fine dirt in places so it will turn to slippery mud when wet.
The road to top is not in good condition. Only 4x4 can reach there.
Stunning view and not recommended for people who are scared of heights. A proper 4x4 SUV with a good ground clearance is very essential. Challenging terrain..
That was fantastic.i hope more people come and enjoy it amazing place.
Nice view
Impressive offroad track and view. Some construction left overs, trash at the top.
Exhilarating off road drive. A proper 4wd is required. I had to use low range gears during ascent and steep decent. It is a good idea to drop the tyre pressure slightly for a less bumpy drive through the river bed. Make sure your cars engine cooling system is working properly. The track demands a lot from the car and because one has to drive slow, very little air passes through the radiator, so keep an eye on the temperature gauge.Check that your spare tyre is inflated and ready for use, you may need it.Drive slowly otherwise youd be slamming your chassis on the ground a lot.
Wonderful Off road experienceYou must have well maintained off-road to have the great adventure, take necessary water and food along with you. There is no shop or restaurant at the top peak
It was a little rough after the resent rain but was a fun drive to the top a back.
Very remote location but accessible strictly by 4x4 with good Approach, Departure and Breakover angles along with a good turning circle due to steep and tight switchback paths. Takes 30-40 mins to the top once you begin the ascent, time from entrance to Base point is 20 mins. Moderately challenging surface. Peak is strictly a viewing spot. Do not camp, do not stop for more than 10-15 mins at the top. Do not proceed to the small village type of structures in the distance as it is private property. I spoke to the person in charge and he was very understanding yet stern in telling us that hed appreciate it if we go to Jebal Jais as he was concerned that if the visitors increase then it would lead to pollution and disturbance in the area. Good experience from an adventurous perspective but not so much for staying any longer than needed.
Stunning views, tough off road driving
