Wadi Shah is by far the most challenging Hike in UAE. It requires a certain level of physical and mental fitness to scale the mountains. Its an advanced Hike for Experienced Hikers and not recommended for beginners. You can either start early morning to complete a round trip or start in the afternoon, camp overnight and return the next day. It takes 4 to 5 hours in either direction. At a steady pace, it takes around 9-10 hours with breaks for snacks, lunch and photography to complete the loop.Wadi Shah hike in beautiful challenging hike for serious hikers in the mountainous emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.Highly recommended for hikers who enjoy physical challenge and not scared of heights, donkeys, mountain goats!

Went with arabian fittreckers on Saturday hike, difficult level is moderate +, views were amazing, found some trash on the hike route, our team cleaned it, plz do not through any trash whatsoever, I enjoyed the hike, people who are experienced hikers must only go for it. I do not recommend for beginners.

Great hiking trail. Highly recommended if you are looking for a good long trek (13km circular trail). You can even choose to cover a desired set of kms and then return back the same way. It is still worth it. The valley is simply majestic. The path is quite evident during the day. Best time to start would be 30mins before first light. The entire 13kms would take you about 6.5 hours.Essentials: A friend (DO NOT go solo! group of 3 ideal), trekking shoes (not running or sports shoes), water (1.5-2Lt), cap, sunglasses, something sweet (dates is what I carry) and fully charged phoneHave fun!

Great tekking but need to be medium fit, lots of scrambling over some rocks. Best to go with a group with a guide who knows the best route. Do the extra climb at the end to an old village and grave yard (to your right). There are sites on the internet that will describe the exact location. Hiking shoes are a big plus! Sports shoes manageable.

The view is surreal. Its a must destination to go when you are in the uae. The mountain ranges are really awesome. Make sure you bring coat and jacket as the temperature gets really cold!

Excellent view The place needs a petrol station and sales services. There are no toilets, and the seating area is free to attract tourism
