Extremely efficient service center, my car was passed in 5 minutes flat! Shamil handles inspection, registration of new vehicles and insurance services. Renewal is to be applied online. Very cooperative staff. Certificate is for AED 150/- with free re-test within 15 days, if not passed. Works on Fri & Sat too.

This testing and registration center has been closed.its been almost a year now.Google maps wasnt updated about it.

As a result of covid this year, this is the only place you can register your car in RAK especially when you require to get it tested before registration. They are fast and efficient, waiting area is very clean and neat....only that it is in the outskirts of the city. Quite a drive..

THE WORST PLACE EVER TO REGISTER A CAR, THEY ARE PUTTING A WOMAN MANGER THERE THAT THINKS SHE IS THR ENGINEER MECHANIC, AND SHE ALWAYS FAIL THE CARS. I DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO THERE

Good if you want to inspect your car for renewal or new registration. You can register new car only on working days while you can inspect the car even on Sat.

This place is closed now. Only tasjeel Ras al Khaimah is the option for vehicle testing in RAK

Good service but employees need to start speaking other languages than Arabic only. Most of the general public speaks English and it is difficult to communicate with staff if we dont speak Arabic

Fast efficient service - Major Sultan runs a good organisation. Hood queuing ticket system. Refreshments and snacks available. Manager came asks customers if everything was going smoothly and could he help. Very good 5 stars!

Close to city area & easy access..but they are closed on saturdays as well...so dont come on saturday for registration... only passing is done on Sat.

It wasnt an unpleasant experience but if you want to finish fast you should come first thing in the morning so I wouldnt be a bad experience

7.30am is the timing.Authorities will be present by 8am.

Extremely slow service. Even when empty it takes about 1 hour. Average time is about 3 hours. The customer service counter to get ticket is also unmanned most of the time so you stand in queue for 15-20 minutes before someone comes and then disappears again.Dubai is a decades ahead. I wish my beloved RAK would catch up already.A very tedious registration and renewal process for cars. Closes too early also so you have to miss work. The staff however are very nice, friendly and helpful at times.
