I just came back home from the salon. My experience at Tips and Toes has been so disappointing today. As I’m driving back wearing the disposable sleepers I look at my toes and all I see are the imperfect lacking glossiness layers of nail polish. My toes and heels haven’t been scrubbed properly too. All I’m thinking of is getting the nail polish removed as soon as I’m home and get my feet into a warm water to proper soak them and do the pedicure myself, as apparently I’m more than capable doing it better than the qualified ladies in the salon.Last but not least it’s my birthday today and I was really looking forward to a good experience... never coming back I guess!!!!

Went first time today to this salon, and have to say that I had great experience there ! Managers and nails masters are very sweet and have a very good professional skills. They did my nails really quick , and nice, super comfortable place. Everywhere is perfectly clean. Price is not high as well, I really have no idea why people left bad reviews about prices and service, it’s all good

I had tried twilight candle massage, it was amazingly done by Mina, start to end same pressure as i wanted.. Punctual, professional, hygienic...feeling awesome and relaxed..

I had a specific request and it was ignored and challenged repeatedly. It wasn’t difficult to fulfill this request - many other salons have respected this request without any issue. I repeated the request several times. I just wanted to be turned away from the mirror while the hairdresser cut my hair. I have fear of scissors close to my face, and things work better if I am turned away from the mirror. I was first refused and I started to leave, but the first hairdresser said no problem and then ignored my request. When I explained my problem again, she got another hairdresser and halfway through the haircut the other hairdresser started turning me toward the mirror despite the discussion we had had about my request. That is so disrespectful. At the end of the haircut, I was disappointed because the haircut was very different than what we discussed and the picture I had brought in. My hair was much shorter. The hair will grow, but I am still very upset that they tested me on my request to be turned from the mirror. Would you force someone to the edge of the roof if they had told you they had a strong fear of heights?

I’ve been here twice and I overpaid each time. The quality of the services was poor and didn’t last.There are many more salons in the area that are much more reputable. I would recommend exploring the salons that have much better prices, employees and services.This place would have to change a lot for me to give it another try.

They messed up my birthday because of the unqualified receptionist. If I would have signed up for a membership recently they would never see me again.

I booked a simple wash n blow dry...the wash was fine but the lady almost burnt my scalp with the extra hot setting on the hair dryer. I told her several times but she probably didnt know much English..I would say its too hot..she would reply ..Thanks!! Probably good to visit if you speak the local languag

I have been a client for few years.They have the best in-grow specialist in the UAE, totally recommend her, the beauty department are amazing as well.Receptions & Administrations are quiet disappointing because:- They are rude specially on the phone.- They are no accommodation for your needs even you have been a client for years.- More than once they were threatening if you are on this time, we will not give you an appointment even I complained they still keep their rude manners...... NO APPRECIATION FOR LOYALTY.....I would recommend management to look in to clients attention in the salon because it does need improvement, development and training on peoples interaction.2 weeks ago I became a member because the ladies are amazing at their job, but still reception has no manners: welcome package had exactly the products I would never use, being a client for over 2 years, and still call to get an appointment and its always NO and IMPOSSIBLE.Disappointing.

Tips and Toes got the job done but they are expensive and they dont offer the price/quality price point I require nor do they offer the eyelash extension style Ive been using for the last 4 years in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.They are probably great for some people but Im still looking for a comfortable salon in the Al Hamra area that ticks all the necessary boxes.

Had a great experience at tips and toes! I’m a tourist and Found it very easy to book online without the need to call anyone. My manicure was done very quickly, efficiently and everyone was very friendly! If I lived here, I would have definitely been a regular customer. Thank you.

I popped in looking for a manicure and pedicure and they had an appointment in half an hour. The staff were friendly and professional. They worked carefully and the results were super. Very pleased and they also gave me a lovely makeup bag and polish as a gift.

I have been to this salon a number of times now. Generally Im happy with the manicures and pedicures. However, on one occasion, the esthitician scraped my foot so hard she broke the skin and left me with a carpet burn- like sore just above the arch of my foot. I had decided not to go back but my friend said she was happy with the waxing there so I decided to give it a try seeing as its nearby. I got a full bikini wax and had to see a dermatologist the next day as the results were so bad. The skin is extremely red and painful and there are a number of small burns where the wax was too hot. Itll take a lot for me to go back there now.
