A nice proud Sri Lankan restaurant with a Sri Lankan trained head chef at the helm.Theres various Sri Lankan, Indian and Sri Lankan-Chinese options available throughout the latter part of the day. However, the menu can be limited before lunch (which is unfortunately when we went) but we were told if you book ahead they can organise any requests to ensure you get what you wanted to order.Theres parking at the front, two stories of indoor seating, and its cash only.Service can be a little unexpected with staff that dont speak good English, but the owner/manager is very warm, friendly and accommodating.

I had paneer masala dosa, its was nice. Price is 7.50 aed. Restaurant is clean, it took about 15 minutes to prepare dosa!!!, they dont have a menu card.

Went with my family on 5th Jan 2018 to have dum biriyani. Biriyani was good but it was not hot. For mutton biriyani, mutton cooked separately and added with biriyani.Overall, this hotel is just OK for that location.

Lovely place to try a nice affordable tasty authentic Sri Lankan meal on any afternoon. I visited a couple of months ago by chance as I passed by that road while trying to find the main road to get to Dubai, Amazing taste, I had again yesterday when I visited RAK on some work.

Aachees, I am the descendant of the restaurant’s owner. Talking about Aachees, it used to be in a much worse situation before but now the food,service and quality have increased drastically and please don’t think I’m doing this for my dad but I want you guys to know the truth. The restaurant’s good but we can only practice for perfection. There are bad reviews but I encourage you to visit it again and I bet it’s better. We can only improve by trying. Thanks.

We had gone for new year and it was surprising to eat food at this joint and had great food l. Their filter coffee is a must try. Their puri Bhajji is a different taste and it was really good.

This restaurant now upgraded with new management. Nice food and good for families and party facilities. And other good thing is have bigger parking facilities

Nice chana masala

Very often you hear good things about a place from multiple people and then you decide to give it a try, my first impression about this place is when I walked in the restaurant was empty and I had a feeling maybe it ain’t the same place but when I tasted the food I ended up enjoying it. I have always mentioned Sambar is the key indicator to a South Indian restaurant and the sambar at this place made me give it 4 stars , pricing is economical and the portions served are adequate , food is tasty and the idli and vada are soft and delicious. Multiple options are available on the menu and I will be going back if time permits, the service is good and overall a pleasant experience.
